Once Upon the Last Day of Summer/Forever and Ever/I'll Always Be With You

(The film opens in a field as Winnie the Pooh walks into view)

Narrator: Once upon the last day of a golden summer, there was a boy and a bear. The boy, that we should meet in a moment is called Christopher Robin. And the bear is called Winnie the Pooh. And together, they have many remarkable adventures in an enchanted place called the Hundred Acre Wood... but the grandest of all their adventures is still to begin.

(The film's title appears "Pooh's Adventures of Pokémon: Mewtwo Returns". We return to Pooh who climbs over a hollow tree stump, flops down on the ground and continues walking)

Winnie the Pooh: Today, I believe, is a good day, for being Pooh. (humming) And here, I should say, is a good place for being Pooh. (humming) Any reason that I think of... is a good one for being Pooh. (Humming and giggling) But the very best reason of all is...
Christopher Robin: Pooh Bear.
Winnie the Pooh: Being with my very best friend, Christopher Robin. You are just in time for the best part of the day.
Christopher Robin: What part is that?
Winnie the Pooh: The part when you and me...(falls while Christopher Robin catches him)...become we.

(Both Christopher Robin and Pooh tumbles down a hill then they get up)

Christopher Robin: Pooh, there's something I have to tell you.
Winnie the Pooh: Is it something nice?
Christopher Robin: Not exactly.
Winnie the Pooh: Then it can wait.
Christopher Robin: It can? For how long?
Winnie the Pooh: Forever and ever.

(Forever and Ever)

Narrator: And so they stayed together, doing all the things a boy and a bear could do. And when the day began to end, Christopher Robin had quite forgotten he still had something to tell Pooh.
Christopher Robin: Pooh Bear, there's one thing we didn't do today.
Winnie the Pooh: And what thing might that be?
Christopher Robin: Uh... nothing.
Winnie the Pooh: Nothing? Christopher Robin, what exactly is "doing nothing?"
Christopher Robin: Well, I'm told it means going along, Iistening to all of the things you can't hear, and not bothering. It's when people say "What are you two doing?" And we say "Oh, nothing." And we do it. This is sort of a nothing thing we're doing right now. (sighs) I wish it could Iast forever.
Winnie the Pooh: Well, then we must do it again tomorrow. And the tomorrow after. And the tomorrow following that.
Christopher Robin: Pooh Bear,... what if... some day...there came a tomorrow when we were apart?
Winnie the Pooh: As long as we're apart together, we shall certainly be fine.
Christopher Robin: [chuckles] Yes, yes, of course. But if we weren't together? If I were somewhere else?
Winnie the Pooh: [chuckles] But you really couldn't be, as I would be quite Iost without you. Who would I call...[buzzing]...on those days when I'm just not strong enough, or brave enough?
Christopher Robin: Well, actually...
Winnie the Pooh: And who would I ask for advice when I didn't know which way to turn?
Christopher Robin: Pooh, we...
Winnie the Pooh: We... We simply wouldn't be. [yawns]
Christopher Robin: Oh, Pooh. If ever there's a tomorrow when we're not together, there's something you must remember.
Winnie the Pooh: [yawns] And what might that be, Christopher Robin?
Christopher Robin: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
Winnie the Pooh: [chuckles] Oh, that's easy. [clears throat] We are braver than a bee, and, uh, longer than a tree, and taller than a goose. Or was that a moose? [chuckles]
Christopher Robin: [chuckles] No, silly old bear. You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem...and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is...even if we're apart...I'II always be with you. I'II always be with you. [echoing] Always be with you.

[Pooh moans as he sleeps]

Mewtwo's Prologue/Giovanni finds Mewtwo/Christopher Robin is Missing

Mewtwo: (Narrating) I am Mewtwo. I am unlike other Pokémon. This is my story. A team of scientists working to create the world's most powerful Pokémon discovered a fossilized remnant of Mew, and from it created me.
Scientist: (From flashback) Radio Giovanni's helicopter! Tell him what's happened!
Dr. Fuji: (From flashback) Quiet! Let us hear its psychic powers!

(Mewtwo destroys the lab in the flashback.)

Mewtwo: (Continuing to narrate) Soon the Team Rocket leader, who had ordered my creation, trained me to control my abilities. But he viewed me solely as his personal property.
Giovanni: (From flashback) You were created by humans to obey humans.
Mewtwo: (From flashback) I was not born a Pokémon, I was created. And my creators have used and betrayed me. So, I stand alone!

(Mewtwo blows up TR Headquarters.)

Mewtwo: (Continuing to narrate) After destroying his laboratory, I was visited by the spirit of my true creator: Zordon of Eltar. He showed me a vision of the Ultimate Battle of Good vs Evil. And of my friends Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, and Eeyore.
Zordon: (From flashback, in spirit) Remember you are created to defend, not to destroy.
Mewtwo: (Continuing to narrate) It was then I decided to test my soon to be new friends. So, I created my own laboratory. I lured my friends and Pokémon trainers to my island fortress to create a powerful new breed of Pokémon and "wreak vengeance" on humans. I seized their Pokémon and cloned them, just as I have been cloned from Mew. But soon, I encountered my nemesis.
Mew: (From flashback) Mew! Mew mew mew mew. Mew mew!
Mewtwo: (Continuing to narrate) A great battle ensued. A battle to determine who would rule: The Pokémon born into this world, or the cloned Pokémon created in mine. The clashes were brutal. And as Mew and I summoned all of our strength for one final confrontation, the young trainer cried out for the fighting to cease.
Ash: (From flashback) STOOOPP!!!
Pooh and Pals: (From flashback) (gasping)
Mewtwo: (Continuing to narrate) His selfless actions puzzled me. He was a human who valued all Pokémon, whether born or created. Our battling ceased. Finally, my eyes had been opened... as had my heart. The Pokémon clones and I left to bring Winnie the Pooh and his friends home and find a place where we could live in peace, and I used my psychic powers to wipe out the memory of our struggle. Now I am forgotten by all but my new friends and the one who Zordon tricked into creating me, the one whose desire to control me still burns.

(Scene shifts to scans of a region on a computer screen)

Female Rocket: These are live satellite pictures of a remote area of the Johto region. Extreme weather conditions make it uninhabitable... for people. But keep watching.

(Computer scans in on Mewtwo in the region)

Giovanni: (Eyes widen) I've found you.

(Mewtwo overlooks the lake with the other Pokémon clones.)

Mewtwo: This place is beautiful. But what right have I to judge? What do I know of this world and its beauty? I am not like other creatures. I am not of this world. We are clones, copies, products of science. We are outcasts. So we must live as outcasts, if we are to live at all. We shall stay here, far from the world, far from man. It is our only hope. For if we do not live in secret, we shall never live in peace.

(The scene changes to the next morning when the first day of autumn began with leaves falling off the tree and blew across the air by the wind towards Pooh's house and through an open window to his bed where he's sleeping)

Winnie the Pooh: (muttering and snoring) Braver than our beans. (snores) Longer when we gleam. (snores) Hum, di-didi-dum. (muttering, smacking his lips and giggles as the leaves landed on his nose) Hello, Christopher Robin. I can't seem to remember the (sighs) to remember the, uh...

(He opened his eyes and when he saw the leaves, he sits up in surprise and catches them in his paws)

Winnie the Pooh: It's Autumn?

(He leapt out of bed and hurried to the window to look out at the autumn atmosphere over the tree and The Hundred Acre Wood)

Winnie the Pooh: (gasps) It is. It's the first day of autumn! (Pooh went into his changing room to put on his red T-shirt) A time of hot-chocolaty mornings and toasting-marshmallow evenings. And best of all, leaping into leaves! Oh!

(Pooh landed on a pile of leaves with a clunk and look down to see a honeypot beneath his feet as he falls over)

Winnie the Pooh: Oh, someone's left a honey pot. AII alone and lonely. [groans] With no one to care for it. I suppose...I should take it. Although it might belong to someone. Though, just as easily not. Hmm. Think, think. Think. I believe when a question becomes this sticky, I should ask my very good friend...Christopher Robin. [echoing] Christopher Robin. Are you here? Are you there? Are you... anywhere?

Winnie the Pooh runs into his Friends/Pooh and Friends learns the truth

Winnie the Pooh: Piglet! Piglet! Christopher Robin is gone. (an acorn hits him on the head) Christopher... (another acorn hits him on the head) Chri... (an acorn hits him on the head) Why, Piglet, whatever are you doing... up there?
Piglet: I'm doing just what Christopher Robin said I should do. I'm going to look my fear of heights right in the face and conquer it.

[branch creaking, then snaps]

Piglet: That is, if it doesn't conquer me first. (looks down as acorns fall, covers his eyes) Christopher Robin!
Winnie the Pooh: Are you looking for him, too?
Tigger: [purrs, then leaps on Pooh] Hiya, Pooh! [chuckles] What's up?
Winnie the Pooh: Hello, Tigger. Piglet... is up.
Piglet: Help!
Tigger: Oh, relax, Piglet, old pal. There's no difference between plunging 10,000 feet to the jagged rocks below and tumblin' out of bed.
Piglet: (uncovers his eyes in relief) Oh, really?
Tigger: Why, sure! [laughs] Except for the splat at the end they're practic'ly similar.
Piglet: (gets scared again and covers his eyes) Christopher Robin!
Tigger: Hmm. Clutched in the throes of terror, eh? Well, I guess I just better bounce up there and get him down. Stand back. This is gonna take a world's record bounce! (bounces 3 times and fails to save Piglet) What's the matter with you? Being a second-rate bouncer is not what Tiggers like best.

(after a fourth bounce, the branch snaps as Piglet falls and lands on Tigger's head, after which they land an avalanche of acorns falls down takes Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger on a ride)

Rabbit: (seen struggling with a carrot) It doesn't matter if you think you're not ripe. This is Rabbit's garden and Rabbit does his harvesting by the book! (shows a book called "The Bunny's Farm Companion") As it clearly says in the official almanac, today is the first day of fall following the last day of summer. "Harvest Day." Any questions?
Winnie the Pooh: Hello!
Rabbit: Yes, yes. The rutabaga in the back row, "hello" what?
Winnie the Pooh: Hello, Rabbit!
Eeyore: Not much of a house. Just right for not much of a donkey. Easy come, easy go.
Winnie the Pooh: Excuse me, Rabbit but would you happen to have a, um... a, um... Christopher Robin about you?
Rabbit: No! I haven't seen him!
Winnie the Pooh: Bother! He isn't where he should be, and wasn't where we were, and seems not to be anywhere where he can tell me whose honey this is.
Rabbit: Well, it isn't mine and I don't have time! It's harvest day! Says so in the book! I have carrots to cut! Pumpkins to pick! Peas to pluck!
Tigger: Hoo-h-h-hoo! Well, of course it's mine. It's got my name scribbled all over it. T-I-double guh... Honey?! Yech! P-tooie! Blech! Tigger's do not like honey.
Eeyore: It isn't mine. Then again, few things are.
Rabbit: Oh, here!
Winnie the Pooh: If only I could find Christopher Robin. He could tell me whose it is.
Rabbit: Why don't you check the note and find out!
Winnie the Pooh: A note! Why, Rabbit, how clever of you! I'll just read it. Or would if I could. Perhaps you can, Rabbit.
Rabbit: Humph. Huh! I could read this with my eyes closed. It says... ahem... "Wig... egg... no... umba... whooooh-who... beeg... Igmllll...mooojo... Boo-goo, moo-gum, burbum, illiya-kumyah..." Well, I could have read it if Tigger hadn't bounced me so.
Owl: Tar? Jar? Oh, far! "Dear Pooh," it begins, " Don't Worry about your friend. He is not far away. Come see me and your friend Crelm-flummin Bobbin" Oh! "Christopher Robin."
Rabbit: Christopher Robin?
Piglet: Not far away? Oh, what a frightful thought!
Rabbit: Wait! Why? When? Who authorized it?
Tigger: Where'll we get the strength to go on without him?
Winnie the Pooh: Christopher Robin? My very best, best friend? It simply cannot be. Whatever will I do?
Piglet: I wonder, Pooh, if perhaps until Christopher Robin gets back... Um... I might, uh, possibly be your best best friend?
Tigger: Yeah. And when Piglet gets sick of you, we can take over.
Winnie the Pooh: Oh, thank you. But you already are the very best of my best friends. You see, you and I can do anything. But only Christopher Robin and I could do nothing.
Tigger: Poor guy, his very little brain is half gone with grief.
Owl: Ha-ha! I've discovered who wrote this note! An O. Two Ws and...(gasp) Oh, my.
Winnie the Pooh: What is it, Owl? Who wrote it?
Owl: Someone bad, I fear.
Winnie the Pooh: How bad?
Owl: On a scale of one to ten? It's not good. This note is from M-E-W-T-W-O. (gasps) Mewtwo!
Winnie the Pooh: Mewtwo? You mean our friend from the Pokémon World who spared our memories of him after his test?
Owl: The very same. He took Christopher to Purity Canyon. A canyon in the Johto region said to have magical properties. But, no human can live there due to extreme weather conditions. (notices the stuck note and tries to get it off)
Winnie the Pooh: Well, then we must help Christopher Robin. Help him get back. To here! And us! And me.
Owl: Then it's a quest, is it? Ha-ha! That's the spirit! Hoo! The nobility of it! Through Zordon's Magic door, it'll be a short and dangerous journey around the great canyon. Ah, of course, you'll need a map.
Piglet: Dangerous? Oh, Owl, you-you wouldn't suppose we'd meet any, uh... Heffalumps?
Owl: Oh, thank you, I nearly forgot, herds of Heffalumps! Ha-ha! Um, um, ah, down here, I fancy in the southeast corner of the far west portion.
Tigger: What about Woozles?
Owl: Woozles! Wonderful!
Winnie the Pooh: Jagulars?
Owl: Hoo-hoo-hoo, just a dozen or three. Here, there and yonder. Not to mention Guardian, hoo-hoo, Bug-type Pokémon.
Tigger: Guardian B-b-b-bug-type Pokémon?
Owl: Oh, come, come, come. Without a monster or two, it's hardly a quest. Merely a gaggle of friends wandering about. (Adventure is a Wonderful Thing)

Purity Canyon/Winnie the Pooh and Friends reunite with Ash, Misty, and Brock (again)

Pokémon Narrator: Meanwhile, Ash and his friends begin an unforgettable adventure as they approach an intriguing landmark in the far reaches of the Johto region.

(Ash and co. see a big mountain)

Misty: That must be...
Ash: Must be!
Pikachu: Pika!
Brock: That's it alright: Purity Canyon, the Johto region's greatest natural wonder!
Ash: Yeah, no wonder.
Misty: Wonder how we get across it?
Brock: The book says it's almost impossible on foot. The only way to get across it is by bus, but it only makes the trip once a month.
Misty: When does it leave?
Brock: Lunchtime today. Too bad we won't be able to go.
Ash: Why not? We still have time to make it!
Brock: I know, but I've been planning to try a brand new recipe and make spicy pizza pancakes for lunch.
Ash: (Drools) Really?
Pikachu: Pika!
Misty: Look! (Points to a passing bus down the cliff) That must be the bus down there!
Brock: I guess so.
Ash: Aaahh! Come on, maybe we can catch it!

(Everyone starts running for the bus then it starts to rain)

Ash: Oh, no, it's raining!
Brock: Hey, I know. I'll use my trusty frying pan, (Puts pan over his head) as a drying pan!

(Scene zooms out to reveal that Team Rocket is spying on the gang with binoculars.)

Jessie: Ha-ha! Look at those twerps running around in the rain.
James: Imagine coming to Purity Canyon and not having the foresight to bring shelter from the inevitable storms. It's a good thing I packed this umbrella. (Eats kabob)
Meowth: Yeah, but what're we gonna to do when the bad weather hits?
Jessie: This is bad weather. What are you talking about?
Meowth: I'm talking about typhoons.
Jessie & James: Typhoons?
Meowth: According to the guidebook, "The unique geologic formations and atmospheric conditions at Purity Canyon create severe and unpredictable weather. Because blizzards, thunderstorms, and typhoons are likely, we advise tourists to avoid this area."
Jessie: I don't believe a word of it! Those guides sensationalize everything!

(Loud rumble is heard.)

James: Hey, what's that sound!?

(Very strong winds force Team Rocket to grab on the umbrella for dear life.)

Jessie: How many times must our plans be destroyed?
James: Before they're allowed to be tried?
Meowth: The answer to that, my friends, is blowing in the wind!

(Winds finally blow away Team Rocket.)

Team Rocket: We're blasting off again!! (ting)

(Scene goes to the bus stop.)

Luna Carson: It doesn't look like there are any more passengers for this month's trip. I know it's a little early to leave, but the bus is full and the weather's getting bad.
Luka Carson: It sure is. We'd better get going. (Smiles) 'Bye.

(Closes bus door and drives off)

Ash: Hey, wait for us!

(a hole between time and space opens)

Ash: (looks up) Hey, what's that?
Misty: A hole in time and space.
Brock: Does that mean....

(Pooh and Pals fall through the hole)

Ash: Hey, that's...

(Brock trips and knocks over Misty and Ash down the cliff)

Tigger: (laughs) We made it!
Rabbit: And look! There's Purity Canyon!
Piglet: That's where we'll find Mewtwo.
Winnie the Pooh: And Christopher....(hears Ash and his friends) Look!

(Ash, Misty, and Brock tumbles towards them)

Piglet: Oh, dear.
Tigger: Uh-oh.

(Ash, Misty, and Brock knocks over Pooh and Pals down the cliff and lands behind Luna Carson)

Luna Carson: Are you okay?
Ash: Yeah. Do you know if the bus to Purity Canyon stops here?
Luna Carson: Yes, it does, but I'm afraid you just missed it.
Brock: Forget the bus. If you'd like to stay dry there's plenty of room under my frying pan if we get real close!
Luna Carson: Huh?
Misty: (Grabs Brock's ear) I can smell what you're cooking up!
Brock: A-ah! Not the ear!
Tigger: Hey, what's the big idea rolling into us like that?
Ash: Sorry, Tigger. We were catching a bus around the canyon.
Rabbit: (groans in the mud) You too, eh?
Piglet: But we m-m-m-missed it.
Winnie the Pooh: Oh, bother! (honey pot lands on his head) Double bother.
Ash: There's gotta be a way to catch up with that bus!
Luna Carson: Not when the weather gets like this.
Tigger: Say, how come? Why not?
Luna Carson: The wind and the rain are treacherous here, and the roads can become incredibly dangerous. It's hard enough to make it by bus. By foot you don't stand a chance! Why don't we all get out of this rain? (Looks at nearby cabin)

Mewtwo saves the Bus/Getting to the Other Side via Boat

(Bus continues to drive up Purity Canyon. Soon, strong winds pick up the bus in a whirlwind. Scene zooms out as a computer screen, and Mewtwo's paws point at it, exuding psychic energy. The bus stops in its tracks in midair and lands softly to the ground.)

Female Passenger: This is like some kind of miracle!
Male Passenger: I can't believe it!
Luka Carson: How could this... happen?

(Scene shifts back to the cave room with the computer screen as Mewtwo, Meowthtwo, and Pikachutwo watch the screen.)

Pikachutwo: Pika? Pika pikachu?
Mewtwo: You ask, why did I save those humans?
Pikachutwo: (Nods in agreement) Pika.
Mewtwo: For our own protection. An accident could bring human rescuers. We might be discovered, and our peace disrupted.
Meowthtwo: Nya nya nya nya, nya nya?
Mewtwo: You believe there is another reason? That I felt concern, that I cared about the safety of those humans?
Meowthtwo: (In agreement) Nya nya nya.
Mewtwo: I assure you, that was not the case. I could never feel compassion for humans. (Closes eyes)
Pikachutwo: Pika? Pika pikachu?
Mewtwo: You ask, what about the boy I brought over?
Pikachutwo: (Nods in agreement) Pika.
Mewtwo: I assure you, this human is different. I could never keep him as a hostage like despicable villains. This human is very special to us all as you'll soon discover. (Closes eyes)

(Scene shows Team Rocket hanging on the umbrella by the side of a cliff.)

Jessie: Good thing we had the umbrella.
James: If it wasn't for the umbrella--
Meowth:--We'd be out on a limb.

(In the cabin.)

Luna Carson: (Brings out tea) The company that runs the buses built this lodge about ten years ago. People who miss the bus stay here until the next one comes around in a month.
Ash: We can't stay here a whole month.
Rabbit: Ash is right, Miss Carson. Isn't there any other way to make it across the valley?
Luna Carson: Well, you could take a boat down Purity River at the base of the canyon and get across the valley that way.
Misty: Oh, I'd love to take a boat ride, Luna! My family runs a water Pokémon gym, and I just love the water!
Luna Carson: Well, if you love water, you came to the right place! (Winks)

(Night passes on to morning, and Luna retrieves a bucket of water from the river. She scoops a mug of it and gives it to Brock.)

Luna Carson: Have a drink, Brock.
Brock: (Sips cup, and an orange sparkling background appears as he cries) This water is absolutely delicious! This is the most devastatingly delicious drink I've ever encountered!
Misty: Hey, I wanna try some, too! (Grabs Brock's mug, takes a sip, and gets sparkly eyes in a pink background) Aaahh! It makes me feel refreshingly alive and tingly!
Ash: (With skeptical look on his face) I guess it's good, but how good can water be?
Misty: Here, take a taste and find out. (Hands mug to Ash)
Ash: (Drinks) Mmmm~ (Blue background appears, but stops abruptly) If you ask me, it kinda tastes like something's been swimming around in it.
Brock: We should've known better than to ask you!
Misty: Do you know what you're problem is!?
Brock & Misty: (Both point at Ash) You have no taste!
Ash: (In defense) Well, maybe I don't, but neither does this water!
Rabbit: How dare you get mean at Ash?! He was just giving his honest opinion! You should be more respectful! Here Pikachu, give them your opinion.

(Pikachu takes a sip and gets sparkly-eyed; Togepi tries some, too, and they both jump for joy in a green background.)

Misty: Looks like 4 out of 5 water drinkers prefer Purity River water.
Ash: (Embarrassed) Guess so.
Rabbit: D'oh!
Misty: I can hardly wait to ride on a river that's this super pure and clean! Come on, guys, let's go!

(The gang takes a canoe down Purity River by night.)

Misty: I'm kinda glad we missed the bus, Brock. The current's doing most of the work, and the water's crystal clear.
Brock: It's fine with me, but I wouldn't be so happy about this nice clean water if I were you.
Misty: Huh?
Brock: I know how much you hate Bug Pokémon, and nice clean water's just what Bug Pokémon love.
Misty: (Has confident look) That's just fine because this is one time I'm not going to let Bug Pokémon bug me!
Brock: Whatever you say, Misty.
Misty: I say, "Bring on the bugs!"
Ash: Hey, look there! It's a Christmas tree!
Winnie the Pooh: Excuse me, Ash. (chuckles) But, that's no Christmas tree... is it?
Brock: Not quite. That's a flock of Ledian. Ledian are Bug Pokémon. They glow like that on clear, starry nights.
Misty: Ledian, huh? You know, guys, I think I'm starting to get to like bugs. (Sees a hanging Kakuna, and gets freaked out)
Ash: These are cool Kakuna.
Brock: I wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of Beedrill, too. With this many Kakuna here, there's gotta be some around.
Misty: (Sees Kakuna, Weedle, a Pinsir, and a flock of Beedrill flying) Ahhhh!! (Rows canoe back to cabin single-handedly)
Eeyore: (grunts)
Rabbit: Misty!
Tigger: Wrong way!
Piglet: Oh, d-d-dear!
Winnie the Pooh: Christopher Robin! (echos)
Christopher Robin: That sound. (turns to Mewtwo) It's....
Mewtwo: They're here. At last.

(Back at the cabin. Misty hangs her head backwards on the rail.)

Luna Carson: You should've mentioned you don't like Bug Pokémon.
Misty: Sorry, next time you'll know.
Rabbit: Well, I hope your happy, Misty! We were this close to making it. But because of your stupid fear, we may never get to the canyon!
Ash: Uh Rabbit, could you...
Rabbit: NO! I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! YOUR FRIEND IS A SCARDEY CAT BECAUSE SHE'S AFRAID OF HARMLESS BUG-TYPE POKEMON!
Misty: I'm not a scaredy cat.
Rabbit: Yes, you are!
Misty: I said "I'm not," and I'm not!
Rabbit: I said "You are," because you are.
Misty: I'm not!
Rabbit: You are!

(Pikachu looks at both sides)

Misty: Am not!
Rabbit: Are too!
Misty: Am not!
Rabbit: You are, too!
Pikachu: Pika! Pika! (Thunder Shock)

(everyone gets Thunder Shocked)

Tigger: Don't shock us, too.
Pikachu: Pi? (stops)

(everyone sighs)

Winnie the Pooh: (sees Piglet shaking in fear) It's alright, Piglet.
Ash: Sorry, guys. Pikachu doesn't like to see friends fight. Just like Misty doesn't like Bug Pokémon.
Rabbit: Uh. Yes, of course. You're right. I'm sorry.
Misty: Sorry, next time I won't go crazy with fear.
Ash: Is there any other way across the valley?
Brock: I know there's one. (Points at mountain behind him) There! We can go straight over the top of Mt. Quena.
Luna Carson: Oh, I don't think you wanna take that route, Brock.
Ash: Why?
Tigger: Yeah, how come? Why not?
Luna Carson: Mt. Quena is the highest mountain in the whole Johto region. (Scene shows a lake on top of the mountain) At the top of Mt. Quena is Clarity Lake. It goes on for miles and miles, and the water is incredibly clean and clear. (Mewtwo's new home is shown in the middle of the lake) It's beautiful, but humans could never live there. The height of the mountain and the weather even keeps visitors away. The only ones that live up there are some wild Pokémon, ones that can thrive in the extreme conditions.
Ash: Well, if there are Pokémon up there, I say we go!
Pikachu: Pika? (Sees something)
Ash: (Takes notice of it) Hey, what's that?
Winnie the Pooh: Look!

(Flock of Butterfree fly towards Mt. Quena, spreading small, yellow powder.)

Piglet: Oh, my. It's a flock of Butterfree!
Luna Carson: Some people say the Butterfree come here to lay their eggs on Mt. Quena.

(Mewtwo, Pikachutwo, Meowthtwo, and Christopher Robin also see the same flock of Butterfree.)

Mewtwo: For these Pokémon, life is as it should be. They were born into this world. It is their home. They belong here. We were not born as they were. We are not of this world. We do not belong in it. (Faces Pikachutwo, Meowthtwo, and Christopher Robin) But where do we belong?
Christopher Robin: I know how you feel. But don't you think you and your friends deserve to live out there as much as the other Pokémon do?
Mewtwo: We are unlike the others.
Meowthtwo: Nya nya nya nya, nya nya.
Mewtwo: Yes, I am sure the moon is round and bright to those Butterfree, just as it is to us and to any other Pokémon who sees it.
Meowthtwo: Nya nya nya nya, nya nya nya.
Mewtwo: If we see the moon as they do, why can we not see the Earth as they do? Yes. (Smiles) Why?

(Mewtwo, Christopher Robin, Meowthtwo, and Pikachutwo continue to watch the flock of Butterfree, as does Ash and co.)

Brock: I sure would like to see the place those Butterfree are headed.
Piglet: I do, too.

(knock at the door)

Ditzy voice: Good morning! Hee hee!
Luna Carson: Hello? (Gets the door)
Ash: A visitor?
Misty: At this hour?

(Luna opens door to reveal a blonde girl and a young man.)

Blonde girl: I said "good morning" 'cause even though it's after midnight, if I said "good night," you might go to bed!
Luna Carson: Huh?
Young man: We hate to bother you, but we've been doing some exploring, and we need a place to spend the night. Oh, by the way, my name is Cullen Calex.
Luna Carson: (Surprised) I know that name. You're the famous researcher and professor of medicine.
Cullen: Yes, and if my guess is correct, you're Luna Carson. I've read dozens of your research papers on Pokémon. It's a real pleasure to finally meet you in person.
Luna: Please, come in. (Invites them in)
Ash: Research papers?
Rabbit: Great now that we all know each other, what's going on around here?!
Luna Carson: Working for the bus company is my part-time job. I'm actually here observing native Pokémon and their habitats.
Pooh and Pals: Ooohh.
Blonde girl: (Still in ditzy voice) Wow, I can't believe I'm meeting the Luna Carson! I'm like a totally off-the-hook fan of yours! I wanna be exactly like you when I get old!
Luna Carson: (Gets disturbed) Great.
Tigger: Say, who are you?
Cullen: This is Domino. She works for the Pokémon Institute.
Domino: Hi, everybody!
Winnie the Pooh: Hello, this is Piglet, and Tigger, and Rabbit, and Eeyore.
Eeyore: Thanks for noticing.
Winnie the Pooh: And I'm Winnie the Pooh. But you can call me "Pooh" for short.
Domino: (Thinking to herself) Could they be the ones our benefactor was telling us about? (speaking) Hi, everybody!
Brock: (Slides into the scene) Oh, Domino, what a beautiful name. So black and white, yet so playful. (Takes Domino's hands) Please, let's find a quiet spot to line up and find out if we're a match.
Domino: (Sweatdrops)
Misty: (Grabs Brock by the ear) Haven't you learned by now that you shouldn't play if you can't win?
Brock: Ow, ow, ow!
Luna Carson: (To the newcomers) I'm afraid I have some bad news: The bus won't be back for another month.
Cullen: Oh, I didn't come here to take the bus. I came to study the water.
Luna Carson: The water?
Cullen: Yes. I've been studying the Purity River for some time now, and I've discovered that its water contains a number of rare minerals that have an amazing effect on the health of both Pokémon and human volunteers. (Takes out a vial filled with water) Here's a sample I took today. I've come here to explore Mt. Quena and unravel the secret of this miraculous water.
Luna Carson: (Sad) That's too bad.
Cullen: Huh?
Luna Carson: If the water does heal people, they'll come here from all over the world. Thousands of people will start coming to Mt. Quena and Purity Canyon. They might destroy the very thing they're looking for.
Cullen: I see what you mean.
Luna Carson: Then again, Mt. Quena is practically impossible to get to.

(Firecrackers start exploding)

Pooh and Pals: (gasping)

(Team Rocket is revealed)

Jessie: Hard, but we're prepared for trouble.
James: We'll scale that mountain on the double.
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.
James: To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James: To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie: Jessie!
James: James!
Jessie: Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light!
James: Surrender now or prepare to fight fight fight!
Meowth: Meowth, that's right!
Ash & friends: What do you want!?
Pikachu: Pika!
Domino: (Thinking to herself) I don't remember these clowns.
Jessie: Today's the day we capture Pikachu! (to Pooh and Pals) And you as well.
Tigger: Us?! (gasps, sputters) What?
Piglet: What?!
Pooh: What?
Rabbit: What?!
Eeyore: Huh?
Ash: You never will!
Pikachu: Pika!
James: Don't bet on it, brat-o. Go electricity-absorbing wire! (Uses amazing lasso abilities to grab Pikachu from Ash's shoulder)
Ash: Pikachu!
Jessie: You may as well conserve your energy, twerp.
James: You can't shock us now that we've got your power plant on-line.
Pikachu: (Tries to use one of its thunder attacks, but it becomes useless) Pikachuuuuu!!
Meowth: We knew we'd need cable to absorb Pikachu's attacks so we planned things right down to the wire.
Team Rocket: (laughs evilly)
Meowth: (to Pooh and Pals) And as for you...(Presses button on a remote control, Pooh and Pals gets trapped)
Tigger: Gee, these guys are serious.
Rabbit: Uh suddenly, coming to Purity Canyon doesn't seem like such a good idea.
Meowth: Gee, ya think?
Team Rocket: (laughs evilly)
Meowth: Now it's time for our getaway. (Presses button on a remote control, and the Meowth balloon rises behind Team Rocket)
Ash: We burst that thing before and we'll do it again!
Jessie: Hmhm. You may have done it before, but not anymore!

(Camera zooms out from the two rockets on the side of the balloon.)

Jessie: Hmhmm. We've always had the team, but now we've finally got the rockets.
Domino: (Thinking to herself) Oh, they're embarrassing!
Cullen: You can't go. The air currents in this valley are treacherous. If you launch that rocket, there's a good chance we'll never see you again.
Jessie: (In admiration) Finally, a man with intelligence, intensity, and a ruggedly attractive stubble who cares about me passionately. What could this strange sensation be? It must be love! But our love can never be. I have already given my heart to Team Rocket. (Puts out hand as if to stop Cullen) Please, don't try to beg. I must leave you.
Meowth: When it comes to romance, she's got a pretty vivid imagination.
James: And that's all she's got.
Jessie: (Yells at James and Meowth) I'm not finished yet! (Continues her speech) Now we must go our separate ways, but I hope that when you think of me, as you most certainly will, remember that there is something good in "good-bye." (Presses button on remote control that ignites the rockets, causing Team Rocket to fly off in the balloon)
Ash: Pooh! Pikachu!
Jessie: (Struggling from force of flying upwards) Farewell, my love. This unfeeling rocket now carries me away towards the pale and heartless moon.
Meowth: I don't see no moon.
Jessie: It was there a second ago.

(Clouds cover the moon.)

Luna Carson: The weather's changing again. Taking off in a balloon like that is careless and reckless.
Domino: You forgot to mention brainless.
Ash: If they get away, I might never see Pikachu again.
Domino: You forgot to mention your friends.

(The Meowth balloon gets carried away from left to right by the strong winds as Team Rocket holds on tight.)

Ash: (To Luna) I have to follow Team Rocket, no matter what.
Luna Carson: Well, if that's the case... (Takes mountain climbing equipment) I know Mt. Quena pretty well and I'll lead you up there. I'm ready when you are.
Ash & friends: We're ready, Luna!
Togepi: (Chirps in agreement)
Cullen: And I'm ready, too.

Climbing the Mountain/Enter the TR Combat Unit/Domino revealed

(Everyone climbs up Mt. Quena, with Cullen and Domino behind the group.)

Domino: (Back to ditzy voice) Oh, this is so scary.
Cullen: You knew this would be tough. You should've stayed at the lodge.
Domino: Staying there alone would've been even scarier.

(The strong winds knock a big boulder off towards Domino, but she gets out of the boulder's way skillfully.)

Cullen: Domino!
Domino: Here I am! (Giggles) I'm pretty lucky. That big rock missed me by an inch! Mmhm!
Cullen: (Stares at Domino in disbelief)

(Scene reveals Mewtwo watching the storm outside the cave window; then it shifts back to Team Rocket.)

James: With all these updrafts, downdrafts, and sideways drafts, we're not getting anywhere.
Jessie: Do you think we're in danger?
Meowth: As long as we got them rockets, I'm sure we'll be okay.

(Ironically, the rockets stop functioning, much to Team Rocket's surprise. Luna and everyone else are hanging on to a rope as they climb the mountain.)

Luna: It's getting windy!

(Team Rocket's balloon fly past them as they yell.)

Ash: There goes Team Rocket! (Yells to them) Hey, come back here! Huh?

(Ash's wish comes true as the balloon flies towards them.)

Luna: Look out, it's headed right this way!

(Team Rocket's balloon collides with Luna's rope and apparently attaches to it, bringing the whole group with it.)

Meowth: With all of them hanging on, we're never gonna get away.
Wobbuffet: (Comes out of its PokeBall) Wobbuffet!
Jessie: (Yells) You're gonna drag us down, you lightweight! Return! (Gets Wobbuffet to go back in its PokeBall)

(The balloon rises up in the sky as the winds suddenly stop, overlooking Clarity Lake.)

Jessie: The wind just stopped.
Rabbit: (sighs) Thank goodness.
Winnie the Pooh: (sees Piglet shaking in fear) It's alright, Piglet.
Tigger: (spits) Yuck! Tiggers don't like wind storms.

(Light emerges through the cave window outside.)

Christopher Robin: Mewtwo?
Mewtwo: The storm is over... for now.

(Scene switches back to Team Rocket.)

Jessie: A gigantic lake.
Meowth: And look at that island.
Rabbit: (quietly) So that's where Mewtwo and Christopher is.

(Tigger pops up with Piglet on top while the others look, meanwhile Domino looks through her binoculars and finds Mewtwo's bio-print though the cave's walls.)

Domino: I think I see... (Zooms in on Mewtwo) ...just what we're looking for. (Clarifies screen to reveal physical appearance of Mewtwo to Giovanni in another room) It's definitely Mewtwo.
Giovanni: You got away from me once. It won't happen again, my friend.

(From the cave, Christopher Robin sees Pooh and Pals trapped and the trio hanging on to the rope.)

Christopher Robin: Mewtwo, look! Someone's trying to rescue my friends.

(Mewtwo recognizes the trio)

Mewtwo: Those children again. (Meowthtwo and Pikachutwo rush to Mewtwo) Can this be an accident, or is it something... more?

(Scene focuses on Giovanni.)

Giovanni: (To himself) Now we will find out once and for all whose will is stronger! (Breaks drinking glass with his bare hands) Heh.

(Camera zooms out to reveal that Giovanni is in a helicopter flying towards Mt. Quena.)

(Domino continues to spy through her binoculars.)

Domino: Well, what's this? (Zooms in on Meowthtwo and Pikachutwo as Camera zooms out to Giovanni's room) I've spotted Pokémon with bio-prints similar to Mewtwo's.
Giovanni: That doesn't surprise me. It's natural that Mewtwo should want to be with its own kind... no matter how unnatural they may be.
Domino: Wait a minute, what's this? (Zooms in on Christopher Robin as Camera zooms out to Giovanni's room) I've spotted that special boy our benefactor told us about. He's with Mewtwo.
Giovanni: That doesn't surprise me. It's natural that Mewtwo should want to be with a special child... no matter how special he may be. 009, begin operations at once.
Domino: Copy. Over and out. (Puts away walkie-talkie and quickly climbs up the rope with ease)
Ash: Huh? (Domino steps on his head) Ow!
Luna: (Sees Domino) Ow.

(Domino finally reaches the basket of the balloon.)

Jessie: Hey, who are you?

(Domino frees Pooh and Pals from Team Rocket's traps)

Rabbit: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Domino, what on Earth are you doing here?
Domino: (To walkie-talkie) 009 to Team Rocket Combat Unit leaders. Proceed to coordinates.
James: The Team Rocket Combat Unit?
Jessie: They're here?
Meowth: Where?

(Over the horizon, Team Rocket blimps fly towards the island, along with Giovanni's helicopter.)

Jessie: There they are.
James: Pretty impressive.
Meowth: Where's the Meowth head balloons?
Tigger: I think we're in big trouble.

(Luna and the gang starts climbing up the rope.)

Ash: Now we've got ya! (to Pooh and Pals) Guys, you okay?
Winnie the Pooh: I believe so.
Tigger: (laughs) Yeah. Thanks to Domino.

(Ash Gets pushed aside by Misty, Brock, and Cullen)

Cullen: Domino, what are you doing?
James: Domino?
Jessie: Is that you're real name?
Domino: I don't reveal my true identity. That's a secret I keep to myself. Things are simpler that way. But, within the elite ranks of Team Rocket, I have an identity that's known to all! (Reveals her Team Rocket uniform) Ha ha! My fellow agents know me as 009, Domino, but my adversaries know me as simply the Black Tulip.
Cullen: Black Tulip? But you told me that you worked for the Pokémon Institute.
Domino: I do, but Team Rocket has agents working everywhere. You just never know. It may look innocent, but a friendly face may be hiding our fiercest foe.
James: (Puts on a smile) Look at our faces.
Jessie: (Also has a smile) They're friendly.
Meowth: And foe-y.
Domino: All I see are the faces of losers.
Winnie the Pooh: I don't suppose you'd be statisfied with a hug instead?
Domino: Sorry, not interested. But...(Falls backward but hangs on sideways with her foot anchored on a railing) Here's a little souvenir. (Throws the black tulip to the balloon, which pierces it and sends the gang flying) Bye. Nice to see you go. And Pooh and Pals, catch ya later. Ha ha ha! (Jumps off and activates her hang glider from her backpack to fly away)

Pooh and Pals reunites with Mewtwo and Christopher Robin/Ash and his Friends makes a Canoe to find Pooh, his friends, and Pikachu/Pikachutwo's Plan of Action

(Ash and co. lose grip of the balloon basket and fall into the lake while Team Rocket in the balloon speed towards Mewtwo's island. Meanwhile, Domino reaches Giovanni's helicopter and goes in.)

Jessie: (Hanging on to the rope of the collapsed balloon on a cliff) Do either of you think it might be a good idea to explore the possibility of utilizing an alternate means of transportation?
Meowth: Not really.
James: At least this time, we finally captured the twerp's Pikachu. And Pooh and Pals for our second boss. That's certainly progress. (Brings up rope but sees that the rope was cut off)
Meowth: Look, it must have got loose when the balloon crash-landed.
Jessie: Now it's just standing there. And Pooh and Pals are with it.

(Team Rocket sees Pikachu on the ground, shooting off electricity with an angry look on its face.)

James: Why's it sparking like that?
Meowth: Maybe it wants to play.
Rabbit: (to Pikachu) Take care of them.

(Pikachu then lets loose an electric attack on Team Rocket, but is stopped by another electric attack from the side. Then Team Rocket crashes down to the ground.)

Jessie: It went easy on us that time.
James: I wonder why.
Meowth: (Sees something) Hey. (Points to the two Pikachu facing each other, Pikachutwo on the hill and Ash's Pikachu on the lower level)
James: Pikachu and...
Jessie: Pikachu!

(Pikachutwo sparks it's electricity from it's cheeks)

Tigger: Say, we remember you: that clone Pikachu.
Pikachutwo: (Is angry) Pika! Pika pikachu!
Pikachu: Pikachu?
Jessie: What are they saying, Meowth?
Meowth: That one up there said, "So, we meet again."
James: They know each other?
Meowth: I don't know. The one on the hill sure knows the twerp's Pikachu and Pooh and Pals.
Jessie: Hmm.
Pikachutwo: Pika. Pikapikachu. (Sparks fly from its cheeks)
Meowth: It ain't happy. It's saying, "You shouldn't have come here. This place is ours."
Rabbit: (stutters) Now you see here, you...
Pikachutwo: Pika. Pika pikachu pika.
Meowth: It said, "We came here to make a new home and live in peace, but you brought humans, and humans are the last thing Pokémon need, especially clone Pokémon." I never saw a clone Pokémon before. Wonder what they are.
Pikachu: Pi? Pika pika?
Meowth: The twerp's Pikachu don't know what they are either.
Pikachutwo: Pi pi pika. (Approaches Pikachu with electric sparks)
Meowth: "Get out, or you'll regret it!"
Pikachu: (Is alarmed) Pika?
James: Looks like they're about to battle!
Jessie: Pikachu versus Pikachu? This could be the match of the year!
Eeyore: We're all gonna die.
Piglet: Oh, d-d-dear!

(Pikachutwo gets ready to battle while Pikachu has no clue why.)

Christopher Robin: Stop! Don't hurt them!
Rabbit: Christopher Robin?
Pikachutwo: (Ignores Christopher Robin and prepares to get Pooh and Pals first)
Tigger: Yikes!
Mewtwo: (Floats down in the scene) No. They're not our enemies.
Pikachutwo: (Ignores Mewtwo and charges at Pikachu and Pooh and Pals)
Pikachu: (Is alarmed) Pika?
Pooh and Pals: (screams)
Pikachutwo: Pikaaa! Chaaaa!!
Mewtwo: (Uses his psychic powers to stop Pikachutwo in time and lets it land gently to the ground)
Tigger: Phew! That sure was a close call. That clone almost hurt us.
Chistopher Robin: Hi, guys.
Tigger: (laughs) You made it!
Rabbit: (laughs) How clever of you.
Piglet: Oh, we're so very glad to see you.
Eeyore: Hello.

(Winnie the Pooh looks up and smiles to see Christopher Robin then they hug)

Christopher Robin: Silly old bear.
Mewtwo: (to Pikachutwo) There is nothing to be gained from such battling. You are the same as the other Pokémon, neither stronger nor weaker. (Camera scrolls to the right, showing the rest of the clones) You proved that the last time we met and battled the Pokémon from which we were copied.

(Pikachu tries to see if Pikachutwo is alright, but Pikachutwo slaps it off.)

Jessie: This is awfully confusing.
James: This is like the sequel to a movie I missed.
Mewtwo: (to Pooh and Pals) Are you alright, my friends?
Winnie the Pooh: I believe so.
Piglet: We got your note.
Mewtwo: (notices the honey on it, looks at Pooh) It looks like you ate, before you looked.
Winnie the Pooh: Bother.
Christopher Robin: Where have you been? We've been waiting for you to come here.
Tigger: We had a detour along the way.

(Mewtwo gives a cold-like glance at Team Rocket, which gets them freaked out.)

Jessie: O-oh, don't mind us! We're just looking for a balloon repair shop!
Rabbit: Now that we're all acquainted again, what's going on around here?!
Tigger: Yeah, why are you here instead of with Zordon, Mewtwo?
Mewtwo: (Turns his head towards the coast) I searched for a place to live in secret and in peace. Now these humans have found us again. (Sees Team Rocket blimps coming) Perhaps we shall never find peace.
James: I know you're psychic, but have we met before?
Pikachutwo: Pika, pikachu!
Meowth: It's saying their only choice is to stand their ground. If they don't, their home will get taken away from them. They gotta battle.

(The clones react in agreement.)

Pikachutwo: Pika, pika pika pikachu!
Meowth: (Gets scared) "This has gotta be more than a battle"? "This is war"? Ahh! What'd I get into?

(The clones again react in agreement.)

Pikachu: Pika! (Shakes head "no") Pikachu!
Meowth: Pikachu's right. (Camera zooms out to show Meowthtwo beside Meowth) There's no reason for you to fight us Pokémon. (Sees Meowthtwo)
Meowthtwo: Nya nya nya? (Clouds move away from the full moon)
Meowth: Yeah, it is a full moon. Sure is pretty, huh?
Mewtwo: (Also looks at the moon, speaking to himself) The moon reflects the light of the sun. Pokémon born into this world may walk freely in that sun. But we were created. Reflections. We are shadows. Perhaps we should not live in sunlight, but in the shadows of moonlight.
Meowth: The moon looks awful bright tonight.
Tigger: (O.S) That's ridiculous! (on screen) You can't just hide in darkness forever. Ya know what happend last time.
Rabbit: Tigger's Right. Wait a minute. Tigger's right? That can't be right.
Pikachutwo: Pikachu! Pika, pikapika, pika!
Meowth: It's saying that it agrees with Tigger and Rabbit that it ain't fair that they have to live like shadows.
Pikachutwo: (Cries) Pika, pika pikachu!
Meowth: "This place is beautiful. But beyond this place, there's a big, wide world."
Pikachutwo: Pikapi. (Looks out to the horizon)
Meowth: "A bright world."

(Various beautiful places around the world are shown, and then the earth appears as it does from space. The earth fades out into the full moon, bringing the camera back to Both Pikachu.)

Pikachu: Pika.
Pikachutwo: (To Pikachu angrily) Pika, pika pika pikachu!
Meowth: "You know that world, don't you, Pikachu? You were born in it, and you can live in it, any way and anywhere you want!"
Pikachu: (Nods) Pikachu.
Pikachutwo: (Continues as Mewtwo watches from behind) Pika, pikachu! Pika pika pikachu!
Meowth: "But because of what we are, we can't live in that world like you do."
Pikachutwo: (Has tears in its eyes) Pika. Pikachu pikachu.
Meowth: "Whatever we do or wherever we go, we don't belong."
Jessie: I know that feeling. Ever since I was a little girl, the world has always treated me as a misfit. As an outcast. As someone who doesn't really belong. So prepare for trouble!
James: And make it double. We unite all peoples, we extend our reach, we blast off. So, surrender now or prepare to fight!
Meowth: Meowth that's-- oh? (Sees Meowthtwo) Eheheheh.
Mewtwo: Enough. We are what we are. We will remain here, and live in peace. (Watches Team Rocket blimps) If we can.
Giovanni: (In his office) Prepare, my old friend. For at sunrise, we will meet again. And as for you, "Chosen Ones." For at sunrise, we will meet at last.

(Ash and co. wade to shore, with Ash lagging behind.)

Brock: Is everybody okay?
Misty: I'm alright. (Togepi chirps) Togepi's fine, too.
Ash: I won't be fine. Not until I see Pikachu and Pooh and Pals again.
Cullen: Team Rocket's balloon was headed for that island, Ash.
Ash: Then that's where I'm going. (Starts wading toward the island)
Misty: Ash, wait.
Luna: I have an idea. See that giant tree trunk lying over there? (Points) We'll build a canoe out of it.
Ash: A canoe?
Misty: Sure. And we can use our Pokémon to help.
Ash: (Gets two Poke Balls) Well, let's get started! Chikorita, Bulbasaur, I choose you! (Releases his Pokémon from their Poke Balls) Okay. Let's see if you can make that log into a canoe!

(Both Bulbasaur and Chikorita use Razor Leaf to cut the log. As the clouds cover the moon again, Ash and co. row to the island.)

Misty: (Looks over at the Team Rocket blimps) We can't let them see us here. The quicker we get there, the better.

(Mewtwo, Pooh and Pals, and Christopher Robin watches the screen viewing the Team Rocket unit)

Tigger: Those Team Rocket guys don't know when to quit.
Rabbit: D'oh! Why can't they just leave us alone?
Mewtwo: (Watches his screen viewing the Team Rocket unit) If the humans will not leave us in peace, so be it. We will leave this place and search for another. We will continue to search until we find a place to live... and to belong.
Christopher Robin: Wait! You can still live in the 100 Acre Wood with us.
Rabbit: Christopher's right. Like I said it's a villain-free environment. But it's your choice.
Tigger: You guys can find another place on your own and get found again.
Winnie the Pooh: Or you can live with us and be safe.
Mewtwo: If that is your wish my friends, so be it. We will leave this place and stay with you. We will continue to stay until we find a place to live... and to belong.

(Team Rocket sees the Combat Squad coming)

James: The Combat Squad will rescue us.
Jessie: I certainly hope not.
James: Why?

(Jessie, James, and Meowth are taken hostage by the clone Venusaur and Bulbasaur with their vines.)

Jessie: Do you really want the boss to see us in another humiliating situation?
Meowth: Shh! Pipe down. The other Pikachu wants to say something important.
Pikachutwo: (Speaks to the other clones) Pika! Pika pika! Pikachu, pika!
Meowth: It said, "If we don't do something to get out of here, they're gonna catch us and use us in Pokémon cloning experiments."
Pikachutwo: Pika, pikapika pika!
Meowth: "Just because we're clones don't mean they can treat us any way they want!"

(Gyarados roars a battle cry.)

Pikachutwo: Pika! Pika, pika, pikaa!
Meowth: "I say we leave this place and go wherever we please!"
James: That's great news. Ask them to bring us, too.
Jessie: We'll be glad to go absolutely anywhere!

(Prison bars lock up Jessie and James in a cave.)

Jessie: They didn't tell us we were going to prison.
James: Next time we use a travel agent.
Meowth: You humans are all the same. What'd you expect them to do, invite Team Rocket along for the ride?
Jessie: You're on Team Rocket. Why aren't you locked up like we are?
Meowth: Well, I'm valuable 'cause I can talk human talk. That'll come in handy.
James: But then why are we here?
Meowth: They'll let you go as long as I do my job, and don't try any funny stuff. (Looks at Meowthtwo) Haa!
Meowthtwo: Nyaa!
Jessie: So, you scratch its back and it scratches yours.
Pikachutwo: Pipi. Pikachu!

(The clone Pokémon get ready to depart.)

Chistopher Robin: Time to go.
Meowth: Well, we're moving out.
Pikachu: (Goes with the clone Pokémon) Pi~ka.
Rabbit: Hurry, hurry! There's not a moment to lose.
James: Hey, that's the twerp's Pikachu. And Pooh and Pals, too.
Jessie: Meowth, you're working with the enemy.
Meowth: Take it easy, you two. Don't you see this is the perfect opportunity? As soon as we get this mess cleaned up, I'll grab Pikachu. And Pooh and Pals, too.
James: What do you think, Jessie?
Jessie: I think we can trust Meowth.
Meowth: Then I'll take Pikachu and Pooh and Pals straight to the boss. He'll be so happy, I bet I'll finally get a Team Rocket uniform!
Jessie & James: Traitor!

(Pikachutwo, Meowthtwo, Pikachu, Pooh and Pals, Christopher Robin, Meowth, Gyarados, Pidgeot, Dewgong, Blastoise, Wigglytuff, Ninetales, Vaporeon, Golduck, and Hitmonlee surf across the lake, with Mewtwo and the rest of the clones looking over them from the island's mountain top.)

Mewtwo: Should I let them go? All creatures ought to control their own destinies. Or should I force them to stay? Here I can use my powers to protect them from harm. But do I have the right to keep them from living as they choose? Which is more important: Their safety... or their freedom?

(Ash and co. finally arrive at the island's underground dock and take the stairs.)

Ash: (Thinking) I'm coming, guys.

Ash and his Friends find the Spring/Pooh and Pals meets Giovanni/Ash and his Friends captured

(Everyone runs up the stairs into a beautiful spring.)

Ash: What is this place?
Cullen: (Takes a sample of the water from the springs and tests it with a machine) Wow, it's off the chart! Luna, this spring must be the source for Purity River. The water's chemical makeup is astounding!
Luna: (Sad) I knew it would be.
Cullen: The human body, in fact all living things, are made up of mostly water. Water is essential for life. And the quality of the water helps determine the quality of life.
Luna: Yes. This place is bursting with life. That's because it's clean here. Untouched. Pure. And the source of that purity is the spring.
Cullen: Maybe this spring isn't just the source of all the water in Purity Canyon. It could be a whole new way to bring health and happiness to the whole world. Ha ha! We may be standing on the edge of the most important discovery in medical history!

(A group of baby Rhyhorn and Nidoqueen emerge from the bushes to take a drink of water.)

Misty: Aww, cuties!
Brock: Wow, without a Pokémon breeder around, it's amazing they all look so healthy.
Luna: In a habitat as clean as this one, they couldn't help but grow up to be strong and healthy. The air, the food, and the water are all natural.
Misty: I wonder if their parents are nearby.
Luna: (Points at the parents) They're watching over them from up there. They're all very protective and very proud. The babies here are living happy, healthy lives.
Cullen: They look just as happy and healthy as their offspring do.
Luna: I think we should move on now. They might get nervous. (To Ash) We have to find Pikachu and Pooh and Pals.
Ash: I just hope the guys are someplace where it's nice and safe.

(Scene changes to Meowth's group.)

Meowth: Haaah. I made it.
Pikachutwo: Pika pika.
Meowth: We're safe.

(Giovanni's helicopter arrives and confronts the Pokémon)

Pooh and Pals: (gasps)
Pikachu and Pikachutwo: Pika!
Meowth: Baahh!

(The helicopter shoots out red electric spheres)

Rabbit: Run! Run! We gotta run!

(Red electric spheres and paralyzes everyone, except for Pooh and Pals, Christopher Robin, Meowth and Pikachu. The blimps overhead then drop Team Rocket Poke Balls and capture them. Just as Pikachutwo was about to be captured, Pikachu knocks the PokeBall with its electric attack.)

Christopher Robin: Great work. Now use Thunderbolt to free your clone.

(Pikachu un-paralyzes Pikachutwo with the same electric attack, and they both dodge the balls.)

Meowth: (To paralyzed Meowthtwo) Come on. Hurry! (Scratches Meowthtwo in the face) Pull yourself together!
Meowthtwo: Nya nya?
Meowth: (Gasps) Sorry, pal. I didn't mean to scratch you up. I just don't want them to catch ya! (Grabs Meowthtwo's paw) Come on. We gotta get outta here! Run for it!
Tigger: Make a break for it!

(Giovanni's helicopter finds Pooh and Pals, Christopher Robin, Meowth, Meowthtwo, Pikachu, and Pikachutwo run away, and it shoots the red spheres at them. The group continues to run and dodge them until they run into a wall and get cornered) (The copter fires a red sphere directly at them)

Christopher Robin: What do we do now?!
Rabbit: Let me answer that by saying: HELP!!!

(Just as the red sphere hits at them a familiar black sphere with blue electricity neutralizes the red one. There levitating behind the helicopter is Mewtwo himself!)

Pooh and Pals + Christopher Robin: Mewtwo!
Mewtwo: Don't worry my friends, I'm here! (He fires another black sphere, but the copter evades it)
Christopher Robin: Mewtwo! You got to help your friends!
Mewtwo: You got it! (then uses his psychic powers to break the Poke Balls and set the clones free. He faces the copter again, and a platform rises to reveal Giovanni.)
Pooh and Pals: (gasps)
Mewtwo: You.
Giovanni: It's been quite awhile. You look well.
Mewtwo: Leave this place at once. I warn you, my strength is far greater than when we first met.
Giovanni: Your increased strength comes as no surprise. Fortunately, my technicians have predicted it, and they've created new technology to deal with it.

(A red and a blue machine float up beside Mewtwo and create an electric web around him, which forces him to crash to the ground. Pikachutwo, Pikachu, Meowthtwo, and Meowth cry out in disbelief.)

Pooh and Pals: (gasps)
Christopher Robin: Mewtwo!
Giovanni: Well, it seems my new equipment was worth the considerable investment.
Mewtwo: (Rises without a scratch) You should fear my powers most of all. You cannot conquer me.
Giovanni: Your psychic attacks bend the wills of living creatures, but they cannot influence machines.
Mewtwo: (The two machines hover around him) We will see about that.
Giovanni: (To Domino) Activate the force fields.

(Domino starts up the force fields; Mewtwo struggles in the electric web as the rocks below him jut out from the machines' incredible powers, but Mewtwo flings them off with his psychic powers.)

Giovanni: Well done, Mewtwo. You have demonstrated that technology has its limits. An important lesson to keep in mind. (Closes eyes) But living creatures have their limits, too.
Mewtwo: Do not test the limits of my power.
Giovanni: It appears that would be futile. (Opens eyes) So, (Points at Mewtwo's home) we'll take our battle to that island.

(Team Rocket blimps and agents fly to the island.)

Domino: (To Giovanni) I'll fly over there... (Soars through the air with her rockets strapped on her back pack) ...for Phase 2.
Giovanni: So, I understand that some Pokémon friends of yours are over on that island. Now we'll see how powerful your loyalties are.
Mewtwo: You are despicable.
Giovanni: (to Pooh and Pals + Christopher Robin) And as for you, I have big plans for you as well.
Tigger: Um, duh, show'em what you're made of, buddy bear.
Winnie the Pooh: Fluff?
Tigger: I think we're in big trouble.

(Ash and co. run down the stairs, but get caught by Team Rocket's band cuffs.)

Misty: What's going on?
Domino: Unfortunately, your being here is very inconvenient for us. We can't let anyone interfere and prevent us from reaching our objectives. We can't let you leave until our operation is over.
Ash: (Angry) You better!

(Sunlight shows from the cave window, indicating that it is morning.)

Jessie: James.
James: What?
Jessie: If Meowth doesn't come back, what do we do about...
James: If Meowth doesn't come back, what do we do about what?
Jessie: What do we do about... the motto?
James: I never thought about that.
Jessie: Maybe we should start practicing.
Jessie & James: One, two... Team Rocket's never blasting off again!

Mewtwo Surrenders/Pooh and Pals Captured and reunited with Ash/"They're Coming"

(Domino and Team Rocket agents explore the spring while taking Ash and co. with them.)

Domino: (Sees baby Rhyhorn and Nidoqueen) Aren't they simply adorable! (Picks up a Nidoqueen)
Luna: Those Pokémon are just babies! Leave them alone!

(The clone Nidoqueen and Rhyhorn jump off of the cliff to attack Domino, but she sends out her Black Tulip to paralyze and capture them with the band cuffs.)

Ash: Stop it, Domino!
Domino: I know trainers match their Pokémon with Poke Balls, but I prefer our method. (To a nearby Rocket member) Make certain that not a single one gets away. (Images of Team Rocket capturing the clones in triumphant looks) These Pokémon are just going to be used in experiments and as bait for Mewtwo. No sense in wasting Poke Balls.

(A prison door opens from Jessie and James' cell.)

Domino: Well, what do we have here? Some rare and valuable Pokémon?
Jessie: You know very well we're not Pokémon!
Domino: Oh, that's right. I was mistaken. Team Rocket agents are as useless as you are rare. But they certainly are not very valuable!

(Jessie and James get irritated from Domino's remark. The scene switches to Giovanni facing Mewtwo.)

Domino: (Through walkie-talkie) 009 to Giovanni. Except for Pokémon brought by a young trainer, the island's populated by Pokémon clones. And we've got them, over.
Giovanni: Excellent. The trap is set and now we have our bait. (To Mewtwo through the copter's speaker) Mewtwo, are you going to let your little friends battle me alone
Mewtwo: I cannot. I must help them.

(The clone Pokémon with Mewtwo cry out.)

Meowth: These guys all want to help out, too.
Meowthtwo: Nya nya nya nya nya.
Meowth: Who, me? I should come along with ya? (To Pikachu) What do you think?
Pikachu: Pika! Pika pika.
Meowth: Okay. I have to admit I ain't got a lot of experience at being unselfish. But if you can do it, I guess I can give it a try.
Pikachu: Pika!
Pikachutwo: (Nods head) Pikachu!
Winnie the Pooh: Oh, bother. Think, think. If all of us went back to the island... Think. And come face to face with Domino and other Team Rocket members there.... By which I mean to say... Perhaps we should, help out, too?
Rabbit: Why, Pooh Bear. I believe that's a very smart idea.
Winnie the Pooh: I'm so glad you liked it. (giggles) Whatever it was.
Mewtwo: (Faces clones, Christopher Robin, and Pooh and Pals) We must live where and how we choose! (Raises them up with his psychic powers) Friends, to the island! (All of them start towards the island)

(Giovanni activates the red and blue machines hidden on the island from his control panel as Mewtwo and the gang fly there.)

Giovanni: 009?
Domino: This is 009.
Giovanni: Mewtwo is headed your way. So are his friends.
Domino: Roger, we're-- (Gets interrupted by Mewtwo's and the gang's sudden arrival)
Tigger: Stop! In the name of the World's Most Powerful Pokémon!
Domino: I've been expecting you. This little Nidoqueen sure is a cutie!
Mewtwo: Release that young one.

(Giovanni's helicopter arrives.)

Domino: Maybe that's something you should take up with my boss. Here he is now.
Giovanni: (Rises up in the platform) Nice to see you. Do I take it that you're willing to obey my commands?
Mewtwo: No. I would sooner leave this world than serve you.
Tigger: Yeah, brunose. So, back off or else.
Rabbit: That's right!
Giovanni: I suggest you reconsider your opinion. If you choose to defy me, your fellow creations will all be used in our experiments and will certainly leave this world. And your friends will come with me to our benefactor so he can deal with them.
Mewtwo: (Grunts in failure before the two machines confront him. Mewtwo commands the Pokémon) Stand away. I must submit to him.
Giovanni: (The machines create a blue sphere with their black electricity) This is not meant to destroy you. It has been developed to simply harness your abilities and mold your will to my purposes.
Mewtwo: (In disgust) Your purposes?
Domino: Don't waste your time destroying them. We're quite capable of building new ones. But, if you try to stop us, your little friends will be the ones to pay the price! (Fires a blue electric sphere from her black tulip at Pikachutwo. When Pikachu rushes to it, Domino fires another one at it, sending them both to a rock)
Winnie the Pooh: I don't suppose you'd be statisfied with a hug instead?
Giovanni: 009, give them my answer.
Domino: Here's a little gift from our last encounter. (Fires a blue electric sphere from her black tulip at Pooh and Pals. Christopher Robin rushes to them)
Christopher Robin: Pooh Bear!

(Domino fires another one at them, sending them both to a rock)

Mewtwo: Leave them alone!
Giovanni: Hmmhm. Do you wish to serve me now?
Christopher Robin: Don't do it!
Mewtwo: (to Christopher Robin) I'm sorry, Christopher. (to Giovanni) I will do as you say.
Giovanni: Hmmhm. All you have to do is to step into the light.

(Mewtwo starts walking to the machines' blue sphere as the Pokémon cry no.)

Meowth: They're telling it to stop, but it's going anyway. This could be a big mistake.

(Mewtwo finally walks into the blue light, which carries him up to Giovanni.)

Giovanni: That's a good boy. Now you won't be able to run away from me again.
Mewtwo: You may control my body, but you will never my will!
Giovanni: We'll soon see.

(The blue sphere suddenly turns red and increases in intensity, making Mewtwo straighten in an erect, suffering position while he yells out in pain.)

Pooh and Pals: (gasps)
Mewtwo: I will not submit!
Giovanni: You are strong, Mewtwo, but pain makes the body master of the will. Let's see how long they struggle. (Looks at Mewtwo, then the place around him) This is a very charming place. I had a feeling that you would find a pretty little hideaway like this. It's perfect for my new laboratory. Finally, I will create a vast army of the world's most powerful Pokémon. (Looks at Mewtwo again) And you, you will be at its head, carrying out my commands! Together, we will rule the earth!
Christopher Robin: You won't get away with this!
Giovanni: Hmmhm. We'll soon see. Take them away!
Christopher Robin: Just you wait, Giovanni! We'll be back! And when we do....
Giovanni: (Looks at Mewtwo again) Well Mewtwo, my plan for them is coming to fruition. And when our benefactor gets what we need, we will rule the earth!
Mewtwo: (weakly) Zordon.

(Mewtwo grows weaker from the torture. Inside the island, Team Rocket gather the captured Pokémon and people together. Ash sees both Pikachu collapsing to the floor.)

Ash: Pikachu! (Holds both of them up) Pikachu. You both looked wiped out. What'd they do to you?
Pikachu: (Weak) Pikapi...
Cullen: Luna, get the spring water that's in the vial in my pocket. It may revive them.
Luna: Right. (Takes the vial) This might be just what they need. (Gives it to both Pikachu)

(After they drink the water, both Pikachu are miraculously restored to health.)

Ash: It worked! Ahaha! (The two Pikachu jump up from Ash's arms)
Cullen: That water is just incredible.
Luna: I knew it was healthy, but its healing powers are absolutely amazing.
Winnie the Pooh: Ash? Is that you?
Ash: Pooh Bear! Guys, you looked wiped out. What'd they do to you?
Christopher Robin: That blonde girl happened.
Ash: Christopher Robin?
Domino: Stop muttering and start walking. You can't stay here. We have a place all prepared.
Ash: Errr!
Cullen: And where's that?

(Prison doors get pushed closed.)

Ash: You better let us out of here right now!
Domino: Hmmhmhm. (Flips her tulip to her cheek) You may not get out at all.

(Team Rocket bring in materials to start constructing Giovanni's new laboratory.)

Domino: (By walkie-talkie) Everything is going according to plan. Construction of our base is proceeding. What's the status of Mewtwo?
Giovanni: (In Mewtwo cave room, using his screen to check up on him) It's stronger than I realized. Its brainwaves haven't altered at the least! If this goes on much longer, its body will be destroyed before its will is!
Domino: You can't destroy it. It could take years to clone it again!
Giovanni: I know that! But this has become a battle between Mewtwo's will and mine! (Breaks walkie-talkie)
Domino: (Cringes at the explosion and static) Well, don't take it out on me! Can't you two work faster? (Jessie and James sweep the floor) Use some elbow grease. I want to be able to see my face in that floor! Now, hurry up!
Jessie: (Growling) We'll show her!

(The pollution from the construction gets dumped in the lake. Suddenly, a huge storm cloud appears)

Familiar Voice: Come, Pokémon of the Island. My friends needs you.

(Various Bug Pokémon arrive and fly to the island. Back in the cell, the Pokémon clones call out.)

Ash: What are they saying?
Pikachu: Pika.
Meowth: They say he's coming, and he's very angry.
Ash: What are you talking about? Who's coming?
Meowth: The one called Zordon of Eltar.
Pooh and Pals: Zordon?
Meowth: Yep. And he's recruited them.
Christopher Robin: Who?
Meowth: The Bug Pokémon. They're mad at the people that are polluting the lake. And they're coming to stop them!

(In Mewtwo's room, Giovanni's Persian senses something and meows.)

Giovanni: Be quiet. (Persian bows its head down in defeat)

(Immediately, a swarm of Beedrill flies through the cave windows.)

Giovanni: What's happening!?
Zordon: Giovanni! Your reign of evil ends now!
Giovanni: Who are you!?
Zordon: Your worst nightmare!

(A flock of Butterfree gets inside the cave and spreads Sleep Powder all over)

Rocket Grunt: Hey, what's that? (Gets sleepy by the powder, which causes him to let go of the blowtorch. The blowtorch drops down and makes a chain reaction of explosions. At the prison cell...)
Ash: What's going on?

(The explosion finally reaches the gang, and breaks the prison bars loose.)

Brock: Hey, look! (Sees an opening)
Ash: A way out. Now's our chance. Come on, everybody! Hurry!

(Everyone rushes out to freedom.)

Cullen: Luna, I'm going back that way.
Luna: What for?
Cullen: I'm worried about the spring.
Luna: I'll go along with you. (Both run off)

(Meanwhile near the exit, Pooh, his friends, Christopher Robin, Ash, Misty, and Brock just got outside when suddenly)

Winnie the Pooh: Look!
Zordon: Pooh Bear, I'm glad that you are safe.
Ash: Is that Zordon?
Tigger: Yep. That's him.
Rabbit: Zordon, this is Ash Ketchum and his friends, Misty and Brock. We were just about to rescue you-know-who.
Zordon: Do what you must. And hurry! Time is running out! (disappears)
Misty: What are you guys talking about?
Piglet: It's time we told you the truth.
Christopher Robin: Yes. But let's hurry.

(Scene switches to Domino as she faces a swarm of Ledian. She throws several black tulips, but they get blocked off by the Scyther. Domino extends a black tulip into a rod and blocks an incoming Scyther to the side and then runs.)

Domino: They'll never stop the Black Tulip because I can think on my feet! (Uses her rod to lunge herself over the Ledian, but as she lands she loses her grip on the floor and tries to balance herself) Ow, ah, ah, ow, ah!
Jessie: I guess that floor we mopped is still a little slippery. Perfect for a character like her!
Domino: Ah, ah, ow, ah! (She continues to struggle, but lands face-first on a pail)
Jessie: What happened, Domino? You looked fine when you first came in, but now your face seems--
James: A little pail!

(At the spring, Cullen checks the water with the vial.)

Cullen: The water hasn't been contaminated.
Luna: (Takes vial) Thank goodness.

Pooh, Ash, and their friends save Mewtwo/Final Showdown with Giovanni

(Mewtwo still fights the machines' powers)

Pooh and Pals: Mewtwo!

(Mewtwo and turns his head, Pooh and Pals, Christopher Robin, Ash and co. and Pikachutwo, Meowthtwo, and Meowth hurry to Mewtwo.)

Christopher Robin: Mewtwo, we just met Zordon, he helped us escape!
Mewtwo: I am glad you are safe. But I cannot bear this much longer!
Ash: Mewtwo.
Mewtwo: How do you know my name?
Ash: We heard it from Pooh Bear. And Pooh Bear told us that you were the one who saved them and my Pikachu. There's gotta be some way we can help you now.
Mewtwo: Stop these machines.
Misty: (Checks the blue machine) Brock, maybe there's a cutoff switch.
Brock: It's no use. They're all sealed up.
Ash: Well, we'll have to tackle 'em. (Tackles the red machine, but has no effect)
Brock: Hit it harder. (Tackles as well, but still to effect)

(As Ash and Brock tackle, Meowth, Pikachu, Meowthtwo, and Pikachutwo join in. When they all tackle the red machine together, the machine gets knocked to the side, but it simply turns its focus lens to continue its function.)

Brock: (To Mewtwo) We can't stop it!
Mewtwo: (Turns to face the group) Then I must use what remains of my power. Either these machines will be destroyed or I will be!
Christopher Robin: Don't do it!
Mewtwo: I must! (goes through severe pain in order to use all of his strength to free himself from the machines. The machines start to overheat from this.)
Ash: Hang in there, Mewtwo!
Misty: You can do it!
Both Pikachu: Pika pika!
Ash: (To the Pikachu) Both of you, help out with your Thunderbolt.

(Pikachu and Pikachutwo use Thunderbolt on the red machine, and after a short while, the red one explodes. The blue machine goes haywire and explodes as well.)

Everyone: Mewtwo!
Ash: You did it. You beat them.
Mewtwo: Yes, but I have also destroyed... myself.
Both Pikachu: (Shaking their heads no) Pika! (Both grab Mewtwo's paws) Pikachu!
Meowth: The spring. They're saying, "Come to the spring, Mewtwo!"
Brock: The water did help revive the Pikachu. Maybe it'll help Mewtwo.
Ash: Then let's go there.
Rabbit: Hurry, hurry! There's not a moment to lose.

(Ash and co. try to get Mewtwo up, but Giovanni emerges behind them from afar.)

Giovanni: You're not going anywhere. (Scene shows Giovanni and his mass of Team Rocket facing the group) Mewtwo belongs to me and I alone will be the one to decide whether it will survive or not. (to Pooh and Pals) And as for you, when I'm done with your friends, you and Mewtwo shall be prisoners of Team Rocket and our benefactor. Whether you like it or not.
Misty: (Gets her Poke Balls) Oh, no you won't!
Brock: (Also gets his Poke Balls) We won't let you! Go!

(Brock and Misty release their Pokémon to fight Giovanni. Meowth then notices Jessie and James hiding in a nearby cave.)

Jessie: It's the boss. What do we do?
James: If he sees us, he might do something drastic, like ask for our expense report.
Meowth: Hey, guys, it's great to see you!
Jessie & James: You?
Jessie: Come on, let's find a place to hide.
James: Right. (They all run for cover)

(Back to Ash and co.'s encounter with Giovanni.)

Brock: (To Ash, Christopher Robin, and Pooh and Pals) You take Mewtwo.
Ash: Okay.
Tigger: Don't worry, old buddy. We're here for ya.
Rabbit: Hurry, hurry! There's not a moment to lose.

(Pooh and Pals, Christopher Robin, and Ash carries Mewtwo to the spring)

Giovanni: No!

(The clone Pokémon arrive behind the Team Rocket and prepare to fight.)

Giovanni: What!? So, you wish to defy me as your leader has? Very well then. I'll crush you, too.

(Ash, Pooh and Pals, and Christopher Robin brings Mewtwo up the stairs to the spring, with the help of Bulbasaur's and Chikorita's vines to support Mewtwo.)

Ash: Thanks, guys. Keep going.
Mewtwo: Why? Why are you helping me and my friends?
Ash: Well, for one thing, you saved my Pikachu. That's a good reason.
Mewtwo: The only one?
Ash: Do you always need a reason to help somebody?
Mewtwo: Perhaps you are unique. A unique human. One of a kind.
Ash: (Arrives at the spring) You're one of a kind, too. Everybody is.
Mewtwo: Eheh. I do not know what I am. And soon it may not matter.
Luna: Ash! Pooh Bear!
Cullen: (Sees Mewtwo) What Pokémon is that?
Rabbit: This is our friend, Mewtwo.
Ash: It's real weak and it needs to get into that spring water fast or it's not gonna make it!
Cullen: Guys, wait. You can't get that Pokémon near the water. It might contaminate the whole spring. This water has minerals humans need.
Ash: (Angry) I'm sorry, but right now the one who needs that water most is Mewtwo!
Winnie the Pooh: Ready?
Tigger: A-one, a-two, a-fire!

(the gang hurls Mewtwo over their shoulders and to the spring with unbelievable strength)

Mewtwo: (Sinks down under the water) I have seen this place. I have been here before. (A black background with white bubbles rising appears) Was it in my dreams? (Scene fades out into an underwater scene with the familiar sea grass flowing with the currents and away from the screen) But this is no dream. I feel new life rising within me. (Mew swims by, looks at Mewtwo, and then takes off) Mew? (Scene shows Mewtwo again sinking down the depths of the spring) If these waters have the same restoring effect on me as they do on other Pokémon... Pokémon who belong to this world... could it be... that this world is my rightful place, too? (Opens his eyes and smiles)

(Meanwhile, above the spring's surface, explosions are set off by Giovanni's helicopter.)

Ash: They're here.
Pooh and Pals: Giovanni!
Giovanni: (Through speakers) Tell me where Mewtwo is. (Continues to shoot red spheres)
Cullen: Stop it! You can't come here and destroy the spring!
Giovanni: Yes, I can. This place belongs to me.
Christopher Robin: Not if we stop you, once and for all!
Giovanni: You and what army, little boy?
Mewtwo: (Amazingly bursts out of the water's surface with blue energy surging around him) You will not defile this place. It does not belong to you... any more than I do! (Eyes glow blue as he spreads his arms out to cover the place with a bright light)

(Team Rocket comes out of hiding from the bushes and sees Mewtwo's incredible powers.)

Meowth: What's happenin'?
Mewtwo: This place has given me new life. (Mewtwo's psychic blue aura spreads out to Clarity Lake) Now I shall use all my power to defend it. (Mewtwo's blue beam widens, but then disappears)

Mewtwo spares Ash and his Friends Memories/Mewtwo joins Pooh and Pals

(A full moon rises overhead on an empty lake with Giovanni and Team Rocket.)

Giovanni: What's happened here? What's going on? Why is everyone standing around? Where is Mewtwo!?
Cullen: The spring is gone.
Luna: (Checks the vial) What about the sample?
Cullen: We may be in luck. We may be able to create a synthetic version in the lab.
Luna: Yes, but I wonder what happened to all the Pokémon.

(Camera transcends down an underground cave with all the Pokémon and the spring water in it.)

Ash: This is amazing!
Piglet: What did you do?
Mewtwo: I have moved the lake and the spring beneath Mt. Quena. They will be protected here.
Ash: Wait 'til I call Professor Oak and tell him about this!
Mewtwo: You will tell no one. Once you leave this place, you must leave your memories of me and all that you have seen here.
Ash: You're going to make us forget?
Rabbit: Oh, no. Not again.
Christopher Robin: "Again?"
Winnie the Pooh: It's a long story.
Meowth: You can't do that! (Gets out from behind a rock) Hm!
James: Meowth, be quiet!
Jessie: Don't stick your nose into this, Meowth!
Meowth: It's got nothing to do with my nose. It's what all the other Pokémon are saying.

(All the Pokémon nod their heads.)

Meowth: (Approaches the baby Nidoqueen and Rhyhorn) It's only natural to wonder about who and where you came from. And some day these little ones will gonna want some answers. Only there won't be any. Not if you're going to make everybody forget!

(The mother Nidoqueen and the father Rhyhorn agree)

Meowth: So what if their parents were clones? They're all living creatures. They deserve to live. And they deserve to know about themselves just as much as you, or me, or anybody does. (Looks at Meowthtwo) That's what we think.
Meowthtwo: Nyaaa!
Ash: I think we should remember, too. Meowth is right.
Winnie the Pooh: I agree. We don't want to forget this amazing adventure we just had.
Brock: And just forgetting things doesn't change the fact that they happened.
Misty: Don't you think everyone deserves to know who they are and where they came from? (Togepi chirps)
Mewtwo: Yes. They deserve to remember. If we are able to look to the future as other Pokémon do, we must also be able to look to the past. The shame of that past is not ours. (Scene moves to the empty lake) It belongs to those who used our past to set us apart. To ensure the safety of all my fellow Pokémon and of this healing place, I will clear only the memories of those who seek to destroy them.

(A flock of Butterfree flies above Team Rocket and Luna and Cullen, dropping their yellow powder on all of them. Mewtwo's face and his glowing eyes emerge as a transparent background.)

Mewtwo: Only they shall forget.

(Scene whites out and the whole Team Rocket squad are placed in a nearby air station, making them confused.)

Giovanni: 009, why are we here? What's the Combat Unit doing?
Domino: Maybe we're on some kind of a secret mission.
Giovanni: (Irritated) Secret mission, what kind of secret mission?
Domino: I don't know any more than you do, but if we don't get out of here now it won't be secret!
Giovanni: Hm! We should withdraw our forces at once. It's strange, but I have the feeling that I have been utterly defeated.
Persian: Rwarrwaar? (Licks itself)

(Back at Mt. Quena.)

Mewtwo: The time has come for us to depart.

(All the clone Pokémon are flying by Mewtwo's psychic power to find their own place to live. Team Rocket and Ash and co. have a Meowth balloon and a Pikachu balloon.)

Meowth: (To Meowthtwo) If you ever see our balloon, fly by and say hello!
Meowthtwo: (Happy) Nyaa, nyaa!
Mewtwo: (To Ash) I have decided to send my fellow Pokémon to Zordon, and stay with Pooh Bear and his friends.
Ash: I think that's a great idea.
Winnie the Pooh: I'm so glad you liked it.
Rabbit: Are you kidding? I believe that's a very smart idea.
Eeyore: Makes me all glad.
Tigger: (laughs)
Ash: Take care of Mewtwo, Christopher.
Christopher Robin: I will.
Mewtwo: (To Ash) Thank you. I will remember you always.
Ash: This time, we'll both be able to remember!
Pikachu: (Jumps off Ash's shoulders and says good-bye to Pikachutwo) Pikachu!
Pikachutwo: Pikachu!

(All of them set off to the air, with Mewtwo holding up Pooh and Pals, Christopher Robin, Pikachutwo and Meowthtwo with his powers.)

Mewtwo: If, someday, you hear my voice, know that it is my spirit calling across time and space to yours.

(Mewtwo, Pooh and Pals, Christopher Robin, Pikachutwo, and Meowthtwo start to fly off in different paths. The Meowth and Pikachu balloons keep a steady flight across the full moon.)

Ending

(Some time later, a bus comes to a stop beside Luna and Cullen.)

Luka Carson: Luna called and said that you might need a ride to the city, so I--hey, don't you even have a knapsack?
Cullen: I won't be going back. Luna and I discovered we have a lot in common besides research.
Luka Carson: Uh?

(Both Luna and Cullen smile at each other)

(In another city, Ash and co. make their way through the crowded streets.)

Mewtwo: I will remember you... always.
Ash: (Ash turns back as if he hears Mewtwo) Huh?
Misty: What's wrong, Ash?
Ash: I know it might be impossible, guys, but I could have sworn I just heard Mewtwo talking.
Pikachu: Pika!
Ash: But maybe it was just my... memory.

(Angel Grove is shown at night, with Mewtwo standing on an antennae of a building.)

Pokémon Narrator: Our friends continue on their journey. But in a faraway city, stories are told of a mysterious Pokémon who roams freely, but always by moonlight.

Bonus Ending

Giovanni (recording via video): It's strange, but I have the feeling that I have been utterly defeated. (rewinds) I have the feeling that I have been utterly defeated. (rewinds) Utterly defeated. (stops)
Mistress 9: (huffs) It appears Giovanni has failed you once again. It seems Team Rocket has failed their part.
Bowser: (walks toward away from his viewing screen, and out of the shadows) Fine. I'll do it myself.
