Princess Tenko (real name: Mariko Itakura) is the protagonist of the 1995-1996 magical animated TV series that aired on Fox Kids known as Tenko and the Guardians of the Magic. A powerful magician, Princess Tenko became a Master Guardian after Hikita Tenko's death, vowing to find the legendary Starfire Gems and to keep them safe from those who wish to do harm.
