- Azusa Nakano owns a Purrloin, nicknamed "Azu-nyan 3", which like Dawn's Piplup and Ash's Bulbasur, she began evolving but chose not to by resisting the glow which she succeeded, implying that she refuses to evolve into Liepard and preferred to stay as it is, so Sakura Avalon gave Azusa an Everstone to prevent the evolution from happening, much to Azusa and Azu-nyan 3's relief but Yui pouted that she wanted to see what it looked like as a Liepard.
- Ritsu Tainaka owns a Purrloin, nicknamed "???", she later evolved into a Liepard.
