Mamie owns a Purugly after it evolved from Glameow after a hit from Carnivine's Bullet Seed.
Azusa Nakano owns a Purugly nicknamed "Glamicha", which evolved from her Glameow, she is shown to be loyal and affectionate to Azusa. She also has a bossy attitude much like Azusa does when it comes to being strict to Yui.
