Puss in Boots is one of the main characters of the Shrek franchise and the titular main protagonist of the spin-off Puss in Boots franchise. He is based loosely on the fairy tale character of the same name and is the main "other fairy tale character" in the four sequels. He was introduced in Shrek 2. He speaks with a Spanish accent. Puss was voiced by Antonio Banderas (who also played Zorro in The Mask of Zorro) and Eric Bauza in the series.

- The Last Wish reveals he's at his 9th life (having to have died 8 times), and bad with numbers. It's also implied his fear during those events is more prevalent due to knowledge of the Mysterons from a previous adventure alongside Ash Ketchum and Captain Scarlet.
