Queen Brightna Goldstar
Queen Brightna Goldstar (née Lux) is one of the overarching protagonists (along with Sunnel) of Sunlight's Adventures Series. She is the late mother of Sunlight Goldstar and the wife of King Sunnel who is the former queen of Suntopia.
She is voiced by Morgan Garrett (who did Summer Rose from RWBY).
History[]
Before Sunlight was born, Brightna was the princess of Suntopia, and Sunnel was a human being, until he got mutated into a hedgehog. Sunnel met Brightna into the woods and the two fell in love. But there was one problem; the law said that royal princesses of Suntopia MUST be married to a person who was descended from royal or noble lineage, but when the whole kingdom saw how deeply in love they were, they decided to change the law saying that the princess can marry whomever she pleases. Since that day, Sunnel and Brightna were happily married and they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl whom they named Sunlight - everything was perfect until one fateful night changed everything.
Suntopia was under attack by the Foot Clan along with their leader, the Shredder. While Brightna brings Sunlight with her to lead their people to evacuate their home, Sunnel faces off Shredder who explains to the king of his plans to kidnap Sunlight and make her his apprentice. When Sunnel refused, he and Shredder faced off in a duel. Meanwhile, Brightna realized that her husband couldn’t win the battle, so she gave all of her powers to Sunlight and and tearfully bids her farewell before sending her infant daughter to Mobius. By the time Brightna returned to Sunnel, she saw him hurt badly before the two were ambushed by an evil being known Mephiles, who slain both Sunnel and Brightna.

- Brightna was described as stubborn and headstrong as she refuses to be treated like a prize to varying men (especially those who only value her only for her beauty, her family's wealth, and/or social status) before she met Sunnel, who loves her as a person; this trait is passed down to Sunlight.
