Sheriff Jessie (voiced by Joan Cusack) is the cowgirl doll from the movie Toy Story 2. Cheerful and loyal, Jessie has the desire to be loved by a child. Jessie used to be owned by a girl named Emily who inevitably abandoned her. Originally planning on going to Japan to be sold at the Konishi toy museum, Jessie changed her mind when Woody rescued her from going to Japan by herself, and he mentioned Andy's sister. Jessie is in a relationship with Buzz Lightyear.

- Jessie will meet Barney and friends in Barney's Adventures of Toy Story 2, where she's revealed to be an old friend of Barney's.

- She will meet Ryan F-Freeman, Meg Griffin and their team in Ryan's and Crash's Adventures of Toy Story 2.
