Snuffy

Snuffy is a green, later yellow 4-year-old propeller-driven monoplane in Jay Jay the Jet Plane.

Personality

Snuffy is a plane and best friends with Jay Jay and Tracy. He is very shy and he's the youngest member of the Tarrytown planes and his specialty is skywriting. Snuffy has a pet goldfish and one time he wishes he can swim in the ocean until he fell asleep and finds himself underwater ("Snuffy Discovers the Ocean"). Snuffy loves to play and have adventures with Jay Jay, Herky, Lina, and Tracy. He is happy, but always bothered with sniffles (sometimes from all the smoke that he fills) and when he speaks, he sounds stuffed up. But even so, the gentle warmth and compassion in his heart always come through. Since Snuffy is experiencing most things for the first time, he's a bit cautious and sometimes his fear of new things gets the most of him. But, he manages to overcome his fears and move forward to the next challenge. When Snuffy didn't know something, he asked Jay Jay and he would guess the thing to him.

Appearance

Snuffy is a skywriting monoplane who is fair-skinned has blue eyes and buckteeth. He is painted lime green with yellow patches on either side, and thin yellow lines on his landing gear. His propeller is wooden with a red tip. His wheels are black with silver hubcaps.

In the revival, Snuffy's no longer painted green. He's repainted a yellow colour and has brown eyes.

Trivia

• Snuffy is like an aeroplane version of Percy the Small Engine, because they're both small, green, playful and are best friends with Thomas and Jay Jay.
• Snuffy was the newest plane to join E.Z. Airlines at Tarrytown Airport as revealed in "The New Plane"
