Solid Snake is the protagonist of the game Metal Gear Solid and has made guest appearances in the Super Smash Bros series. His real name is David. He is a former spy, special operations soldier, and mercenary. He is a genetic clone of the world-renowned soldier Big Boss. He is also one of Mario's friends.
