Sora Takenouchi is a character from Digimon Adventure and it's sequel Digimon Adventure 02.
Sora is feisty, tomboyish, cheerful, courageous, kind. wise, and jolly, She is a mother-figure of the Digi-Destined. She is best friends with Tai and is also friends with Mimi. She later becomes the girlfriend of Matt Ishida.

- Sora has a cousin called Duane, but Duane in the original version is just a random stranger who wanted go give the DigiDestined a lift because he found Sora and Mimi too cute to resist. Because the show is aired in a children's channel, Duane was named as Sora's cousin as a reminder for kids that going on a car with a stranger is a dangerous act.
- Like Angie Hinomoto, they had the same Japanese and English voice actress.
- From Digimon Adventure, up to Digimon Adventure tri, Sora was voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey. As of Digimon Adventure:, she is now voiced by Cherami Leigh.
