Sunlight Goldstar

Princess Sunlight of Suntopia, best known as Sunlight Goldstar, is the main protagonist of Sunlight's Adventures Series. She is the long-lost princess and heir of Suntopia who is the leader of Team SHMA, Sonic the Hedgehog's adopted younger sister, and Jimmy Rose the Hedgehog's girlfriend.

She is voiced by Tara Strong and her singing voice is provided by Dove Cameron.

History[]

Sunlight is the princess of the sun-related kingdom called Suntopia and the daughter of King Sunnel and Queen Brightna. After the year she was born, her parents were killed by Mephiles The Dark and she became an orphan. After being sent into a remote location by her mother for her protection, she was then found by Queen Aleena who took her in and raised her as like Sunlight is another daughter to her and another sister to her triplet children; Sonic, Sonia, and Manic. Sunlight was born with powers that her mother gave her right before she died, although she couldn't control her powers at first, but her allies were there to help her control them so she could use them to protect the world. One day, when she was 10 years old, she met two identical twins named Vendra & Neftin Prog and they became friends, until she moved to a different place, but they'll always have their friendship bracelets to remember each other. Then she and her friends met Lilac, Carol, Milla and she had great adventures with her family and friends. Sunlight used to be in a relationship with a red mobian hedgehog named Zachary until he reveals to be abusive of her, both mentally and physically until her friend, Jimmy, came and save her from Zachary's abuse - this sets a chain reaction of not only breaking up with Zachary and date Jimmy, Sunlight even told Zachary off right in his face before insultingly adding to go find a new girl to be his date (or in other words slave), much to Zachary's chagrin.

Sunlight may get kidnapped by various villains due to her powers, but she would do whatever it takes to protect her friends, family, and her kingdom.

Sunlight is beautiful, cheerful, adventurous, likable, strong, agreeable, enchanting, appealing, strong-wiled, helpful, optimistic, nice, lovely, upbeat, sweet, kind-hearted, brave, compassionate, caring, and calm.

In addition, Sunlight is somewhat of a free girl with a free spirit - as described by Aleena, who told her that she inherited her late mother's free spirit and strong sense of independence, Sunlight is not afraid to speak her mind, nor will she hesitate to stand up for what she believes is right, and refuses to be mistreated, undermined, humiliated, demeaned, or controlled by anyone, especially and specifically by Zachary, her ex-boyfriend and ex-fiancé. She appeared disgusted with Zachary's description of marriage together. Even when under any villain's captivity, she retains her independence.

Sunlight wore different wardrobes in different colors which symbolize when she is with the two characters who have feelings for her, Jimmy and Zachary. When she is with Jimmy, she wears warm colors (mainly yellows along with warm shades of green), while developing feelings for him even before her breakup with Zachary. But when she is with Zachary, she wears cool colors (mainly blues in light or dark shades) whenever he keeps her hostage. It’s like Sunlight is being warm towards Jimmy while giving Zachary the cold shoulder.
- For Jimmy, she was tender and warm-hearted with him like gentle flames on a campfire as she knew his feelings for her were genuine. For Zachary, she looks down on him in disdain and contempt (like she regrets meeting him without realizing his true nature) and was icy-cold toward him whilst ignoring his pleas to get back together.
In Kieran's Adventure Series, she will make her debut in Kieran & Sonic Unleashed.
