Swiper the Fox

Swiper is a fox and the main antagonist in the television series. He has a great interest in swiping anything.

He can only be stopped if you say "Swiper, no swiping!" three times.

Appearance[]

Swiper is a orange fox who lives at Blueberry Hill. He has orange fur, and an orange tail. He also wears a blue mask over his eyes, and blue gloves on his hands.

Personality[]

Most of the time, Swiper is shown to very sneaky. You'll know he's near when you hear his ominous "whisking" sound is always audible just prior to his appearances. Swiper can be stopped most of the time, and he often snaps his fingers saying, "Oh, man!", before leaving. But on some occasions, he can be successful and swipes someone's things saying, "You're too late!", and then he hides it saying, "You'll never find it now!" and runs off. However, despite Swiper's sneakiness, he has shown to have a good side in them, and occasionally helps everyone. This is shown when he helps Baby Fox get back to the fox hole, and when he rescues his grandma's pie from the big wind. This proves that Swiper isn't a true villain. He's just sneaky and he tends to reveal his good side on some episodes. Thus, his role is more that of a mischievous antagonist who means no real harm to anyone.

Interests[]

Swiper mostly takes interests in swiping. But he has shown to enjoy his birthday.
On "Boo!", before swiping Dora, Boots and Little Monster's candy, Dora teaches him how to say "Trick or treat". Once Swiper says it, Dora hands him two candies, much to Swiper's delight. As Swiper skips happily away, he exclaims "I love Halloween!"
Swiper is also shown to enjoy sleepovers at his grandma's house at Strawberry Hill.

Trivia[]

In "Bark Bark to the Play Park", it is revealed that he is the owner of Perrito's Twin.
Swiper lost one of his gloves in the episode "The Lost City" but got it back.
Pinto, the Pony Express is the first episode in which he is on his good side as he was happy that Dora, Boots and Benny gave him a cowboy cookie. However, he did not say "thank you" when they gave him the cookie.
In Whose Birthday is It?, he is on his good side without any swiping since it is his birthday.
Swiper has interacted with various characters to show his good side.
In the episode, "Swiper the Explorer", he interacted with not just Dora and Boots but with Benny, Backpack, Map and Diego.
In the episode, "Dora's Dance to the Rescue", he interacted with Tico, Isa, Pirate Pig and the Pirate Piggies.
When Swiper appeared on "Dora In Wonderland", his role was the Knave of Hearts.
In Liam's Adventures of Pokemon the Series, Swiper will appear in Securing the Future! (LAoPtS) where he joined the rest of Alola in showering Necrozma with light so it could return to its normal form.
In Liam's Adventures of Scooby-Doo, Swiper will appear in Jeepers, It's the Creeper where he joined the Creeper to try to swipe the paper the guard has given Mystery Inc away. He then swiped the mask which exposed the Creeper.
In Ryan's Adventures Series, Swiper is one of Ryan's enemies because of his attempts to swipe Connor Lacey's Ultimatrix so Linda will use it and the Realm Crystal to forge the Realm-blade.
He will face Ryan, Meg and friends in Ryan's Adventures of Dora and the Lost City of Gold.
