Tai's Agumon

Agumon is a fictional character and Digimon from the first two seasons of the anime and manga Digimon Adventure, and Digimon Adventure 02, and the movie series Digimon Adventure tri..

The name "Agumon" refers only to the Rookie form of this Digimon. Throughout the series, Agumon gains the ability to digivolve into a number of more powerful forms, each with a different name and special attack. The Rookie level, however, is his preferred form and the one he spends most of his time in. It is also the name he is most commonly referred to.

Agumon is partner to the DigiDestined leader Taichi "Tai" Kamiya and often counterpoints his partner. While both are matched well in that they can act rather brashly and hot-headedly when their friends are in danger, Agumon is typically the more cautious one, even if his partner disregards his advice. The pair joke around with each other a lot and go through many trials together, but their trust in each other is evident.

Other Forms

Botamon

Agumon Fresh Form, Due to Dialga and Palkia's influence, he, along with the rest of the DigiDestined, plus the heroes and allies alike got younger, He was forced to De-digivolve all the way down into his Botamon stage, before turning into a Digi-Egg. He returned back to his Agumon stage after it was resolved.

Koromon

Agumon's In-Training Form, Due to Dialga and Palkia's influence, he, along with the rest of the DigiDestined, plus the heroes and allies alike got younger, Agumon was forced to De-digivolve into Koromon, before dedigivolving again into his Botamon stage, then a Digi-Egg. He returned back to his Agumon stage after it was resolved.

WarGreymon

He digivolved into WarGreymon in Showdown at the Gates of Warp!, but due to the effects of Dialga and Palkia, WarGreymon got hit in the blast that he de-digivolved into Agumon, before reverting back into Koromon, then Botamon, then a Digi-Egg. After the heroes prayed to Arceus to freed them from red chains, everything was finally resolved and returned back to his Agumon stage.

Machinedramon

In the episode "The Final Stage, DanDevimon". When DanDevimon devours Tai in one gulp, MetalGreymon (Alterous Mode) saw this in horror, he angrily Dark Digivolves into the red-colored Machinedramon and goes on a raging rampage by firing number of lasers on his mechanical tail. He then attacks DanDevimon attempting to defeat or kill him, but unfortunately, he was pinned down by DanDevimon and attacks him. Tokomon temporarily uses his energy to digivolve into Angemon to get inside Machinedramon's mind to calm him down and make Agumon comes his sense into him by making him remember all the memories he had with Tai during their journey. He then got out of the manifestation of Machinedramon and transforms into the manifestation of WarGreymon to destroy DanDevimon and rescued Tai.

Omnimon

In Forming a More Perfect Union, WarGreymon along with MetalGarurumon refused to give up and they DNA Digivolved together Omnimon. He along with Squishy and Z-2 as Zygarde complete form and the rest of the mega level Digimon battle the Megalith Zygarde, Lysandre and his recruits during the final showdown against Team Flare. Omnimon and the rest of the mega Digimon and Zygarde used their finishing moves to destroy the giant rock but also killing Lysandre and some of his recruits in the process.
