This is the script for The Irelanders meets Shrek.

[The film opens with a light shining on a book which opens by itself]

Narrator: Once upon a time, there was a lovely princess. But she had an enchantment upon her of a fearful sort, which could only be broken by love's first kiss. She was locked away in a castle guarded by a terrible fire breathing dragon. Many brave knights had attempted to free her from this dreadful prison, but none prevailed. She waiting in the Dragon's Keep, in the highest room of the tallest tower, for her true love and true love's first kiss.

[An ogre named Shrek rips a page out of the book and closes it]

Shrek: (through laughter) Yeah. Like that's ever gonna happen. What a load of...

[We cut to an outhouse where the sound of a toilet flushing can be heard. Shrek bursts out of the doorway and stretches as All Star begins playing in the background. He shakes a piece of paper of his foot then stands smiling at his tree stump home standing tall and proud in the sun. Shrek walks over to it, closing the outhouse door behind him. He then scoops up some mud in a bucket which green tainted water forms the title "The Irelanders Meet Shrek". Shrek puts his clothes and the bucket on tree branches before pulling a rope which makes the bucket tip the mud onto him like a shower. He gurgles and spits the mud out onto the ground revealing his voice actor's name "Mike Myers". Next, Shrek takes a bug out of a cup and squirts green gel from it on a bone like a toothbrush with toothpaste. Shrek brushes his teeth, leaving green bubbles on them whilst smiling into a mirror, which shatters and falls apart revealing another voice actor's named "Eddie Murphy". Shrek jumps in a pond and farts in it, producing bubbles. A dead fish pops up on the surface of the water and he picks it up as the green moss in the water forms another voice actor's named "Cameron Diaz". Mud pours out of a log, having been pushed by Shrek, who pokes his head out. He sees a slug and picks it up as tiny white worms for another voice actor's name "John Lithgow" before dispersing. Later, Shrek paints a sign with a brush before picking it up and kissing it, getting red paint on his mouth, making him look as if he has lipstick. He puts the sign which says "Beware Ogre" with a picture of his face on it before walking away. Meanwhile, a group of villagers burst out of a pub. One of them draws a picture of Shrek's head with a circle around it and arrows pointing to it in the dirt. The villagers proceed to grab pitchforks and torches while Shrek grabs a spoon and eats an eyeball with it. As morning turns to evening, the villagers make their way towards Shrek's swamp. Shrek lights a match and burps the flames into the fire place, lighting it. The mob lights a few more torches as it is now night time then carry on. Shrek eats something sludgy before resting back in an arm chair. The mob makes their way into the swamp, knocking over Shrek's "Keep Out" signs as they go. Shrek hears them and walks over to the window. He sees the mob approaching and heads outside. The mob continue making their way into the swamp, unaware that Shrek is following them from behind. One of the mob members moves some grass aside to reveal Shrek's home]

Man 1: Think it's in there?

Man 2: All right! (moving forward) Let's get it!

Man 3: (stops him) Whoa. Hold on. Do you know what that thing could do to you?

Man 4: Yeah, it'll grind your bones for its bread.

[The villagers hear laughing and turn to see Shrek standing behind them]

Shrek: (laughs) Yes, well, actually, that would be a giant. Now, ogres-- they're much worse. They'll make a suit from your freshly peeled skin.

Man: No!

Shrek: They'll shave your liver. Squeeze the jelly from your eyes! Actually, it's quite good on toast.

Man 5: (waving a torch in front of Shrek to defend himself) Back! Back, beast! Back! I warn ya!

[Causally, Shrek licks his fingers and puts the torch out without burning himself, much to the villagers' surprise]

Man 5: (sheepishly looking at Shrek and dropping his torch) Right.

[There's silence for a moment before Shrek lets out a mighty roar, causing the torches to go out and the villagers to scream in terror]

Shrek: (roaring)

Villagers: (screaming)

Shrek: (leans over to whisper) This is the part where you run away.

[The villagers drop their torches and pitchforks and run off, screaming. Shrek laughs as he watches them go]

Shrek: (laughs) And stay out!

[Shrek sees a wanted poster on the ground and picks it up]

Shrek: Wanted fairy tale creatures. (sighs)

[Shrek throws the poster on the ground and walks away. The scene changes to The Tortuga landing at a clearing at the edge of the swamp the next day]

Chris Kratt: Here we are, the swamp.

Connor Lacey: Whoa. This is cool.

Manny: Yeah, but why are we here again?

Martin Kratt: Well, Manny, we're here because we need to find some creatures to make new creature power discs.

Manny: Oh, you mean like you did with me?

Chris Kratt: Yep. There are lots of swamp creatures here that we can pick. (using his Creature Pod to show video footage of swamp creatures) Like alligators who lives at some swamps. Mosquitoes who drinks blood from humans and other creatures and river otters who live here.

Martin Kratt: Though there are some creatures that we haven't tried before. (using his Creature Pod to show video footage of swamp creatures) Like the marsh rabbit who is one of the two species of rabbit to live in swamps such as this, besides the swamp rabbit. Then there are water striders, which are insects walking on water like basilisk lizards. And plenty of others that we have yet to have creature adventures with.

Sid: Boy, you two sure know lots of things about creatures. Did you two learn all this in school?

Chris Kratt: Well, at university and when we become zoologists.

Ellie: Well, that explains how you knew about me, Crash and Eddie playing dead to defend ourselves from the hawk.

Chris Kratt: Oh. (blushes) Guess you heard us the whole time you were doing it, huh?

Ellie: Yep. Every single word.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, whatever adventure we're having here, I'm sure it will be a good one.

Two-Tonne: I have to agree with Twilight. You know, I've had many adventures before but none like this.

Maisie Lockwood: Well, you're gonna have many more, Two-Tonne.

Ono: Uh, I think we're not the only ones here, guys. Look.

[Everyone looks to see a dwarf's head sticking out of a window with bars on it in a wagon]

Guard: Alright! This one's full! Take it away!

[A horse pulls the wagon away and the Irelanders see fairytale creatures being sold to a group of guards by people waiting in line]

Dwarfs: (singing)

Guards: Get up! Give me that! Your flying days are over!

Captain of the Guard: That's 20 pieces of silver for the witch. Next!

Man: Get up! Come on!

[In the line of fairytale creatures yet to be sold, a gray donkey with a rope tied around his mouth watches as the witch is put into a wagon]

Guard: Sit down there! Be quiet!

Little Bear: (crying) This cage is so small!

Mushu: Oh my Gosh! They're putting those poor creatures in wagons and cages!

Fluttershy: Oh, those poor animals! How could they?!

Rarity: (seeing a unicorn being put in a wagon) If they saw us, they'd shove us into that awful wagon as well.

Trixie: How dare they shove one of our kind into that awful box! It's just dreadful!

Starlight Glimmer: I agree! This isn't right.

Kion: But who is behind all this?

Sunset Shimmer: Beats me, Kion.

Capper: We have to find out what's going on here and why.

Paxton: Right now, let's watch what's going on.

Donkey: Please don't turn me in. I'll never be stubborn again. I can change! Please! Give me another chance!

Old Lady: Oh, shut up! (slaps him)

Donkey: Oh!

Captain of the Guard: Next! What have we got?

Geppeto: (putting Pinocchio down on the table) This little wooden puppet.

Pinocchio: I'm not a puppet. I'm a real boy. (his nose grows indicating he's told a lie)

Captain of the Guard: Five shillings for the possessed toy. Take it away.

Pinocchio: (being carried away by a guard) Father, please! Don't let them do this! Help me!

Captain of the Guard: Next! What have we got?

Old Lady: Well, I've got a talking donkey.

Captain of the Guard: Right. Well, that's good for ten shillings. If you can prove him.

Old Lady: (removing the rope from Donkey's mouth) Oh. Uh. Go ahead little fella.

[Donkey stays silent. The guards stare]

Captain of the Guard: Well?

Old Lady: Oh, he's just... he's just a little nervous. He's really quite a chatterbox. (to Donkey sternly) Talk, you boneheaded dolt!

Captain of the Guard: That's it. I've had enough. Guards.

Old Lady: No, no, he talks! He does! (holding Donkey's lips and moving them with her hand) "I can talk? Oh, I'd love to talk! I'm the talkinest darn thing you ever saw!"

[The guards stare at her before the captain finally loses his patience]

Captain of The Guard: Get her out of my sight!

Old Lady: No, no! I swear! (getting dragged away by the guards) Ow! He can talk!

[As the guards drag her away, the old lady kicks the cage containing a fairy from a boy dressed like Peter Pan's hands and it flies through the air. It lands on Donkey, sprinkling him with fairy dust and causing him to float into the air, much to his surprise and relief]

Donkey: Hey! I can fly!

Peter Pan: He can fly!

Three Little Pigs: He can fly!

Captain of the Guard: He can talk!

Donkey: Ha, ha! That's right, fool! Now I'm a flying talking donkey. You might have seen a housefly, maybe even a super fly, but I bet you ain't never seen a donkey fly! Ha, ha! (suddenly starts to descend as the fairy dust starts to wear off) Uh-oh!

[Donkey falls to ground, causing the Irelanders to cringe]

Irelanders: Ooh!

Captain of the Guard: Seize him!

Donkey: (panting)

Kim Possible: Over here! This way! Follow us!

[Donkey manages to shake off two guards who've grabbed him, dodges two more then leaps over to the Irelanders and they run off into the woods away from the guards]

Guards: After them! They're getting away!

Sid: Aaaaaaah!

[The heroes and Donkey running until they bump into Shrek who has been putting up a sign]

Irelanders and Donkey: (gasp as Shrek turns to them)

Guards: Get them! This way! Turn!

[Donkey and the Irelanders hide behind Shrek as the guards approach them]

Sid: Just pretend that we're not here.

[The guards stop upon seeing Shrek]

Captain of the Guard: You there! Ogre!

Shrek: Aye?

Captain of the Guard: (unrolling a scroll with a blue F on it) By the order of Lord Farquaad, I am authorized to place you all under arrest and transport you to a designated resettlement facility?

Shrek: Oh, really? (leans forward) You and what army?

[The captain sees that his guards have gone and Donkey and the Irelanders smile at Shrek]

Captain of the Guard: (gasps and runs off)

Discord: Yeah! Run away you coward!

Donkey: (chuckles)

Ace: That takes care of them.

Shira: We were lucky we found that big green fella to protect us.

Connor Lacey: Yeah. We have to thank him for helping us.

Captain Jake: He's walking away, mateys. Look.

[Everyone looks to see Shrek walking away]

Donkey: Hey, can we say something to you? Listen, you was really, really something back there. Incredible.

Shrek: Are you talking to... (stops when he sees Donkey and the Irelanders have gone) Me? (turns and sees Donkey and the Irelanders in front of him) Whoa!

Donkey: Yes, we was talking to you. Can we just tell you that you was really great back there, man. Those guard, they thought they was all of that. Then you showed up and bam! They was tripping over themselves like babes in the woods. See that? That... that really made us feel good to see that.

Elsa: Yeah. I mean, I could have dealt with them with my ice powers but you did a much better job.

Shrek: (sarcastically) Oh, that's great. Really.

Donkey: Man, it's good to be free.

Jiminy Cricket: I couldn't agree with you more. Those guards would have had you by now if that green fella hadn't shown up.

Shrek: Now, why don't you all go celebrate your freedom with your own friends? Hmm? (walks away)

Donkey: But uh, I don't have any friends. And I'm not going out there by myself.

Mewtwo: We will be your friends, little one.

Iago: Yeah. I mean, after all, we did just save you from those guards back there.

Donkey: Well, thanks. Hey, wait a minute, I got a great idea. We'll stick with you! (running up to Shrek with the Irelanders) You're a mean, green fighting machine. Together, we'll scare the spit out of anybody that crosses us.

Shrek: (breathes in and roars at Donkey and the Irelanders, making them jump but not scaring them off)

Donkey: Oh, wow. That was really scary.

Maisie Lockwood: I'll say. (whimpers)

Diego: Are you kidding me? I didn't even flinch.

Donkey: And if you don't mind me saying, if that don't work, your breath will certainly get the job done cause you really need some Tic-Tacs or something cause your breath stinks!

Rarity: I quite agree with you, darling. That breath of his smells absolutely dreadful.

Koki: I think I'm gonna be sick.

[Shrek continues walking when Donkey and the Irelanders appear in front of him from a tree above him]

Donkey: Man, you almost burnt the hair out of my nose. Just like the time... (Shrek covers his mouth for a split second before letting go) And then I ate some rotten berries. Man, I had some strong gases eking out of my butt that day.

Buck: I didn't quite understand all that but quite an interesting tale.

Mushu: If you ask me, he's just like Pinkie since they both talk too much.

Pinkie Pie: Hey, you're right. He does.

Caitlin: Well, you never know when to stop talking do you?

Pinkie Pie: Uh....

Caitlin: But then again, there are times when you do.

Shrek: Why are you all following me?

Donkey: We'll tell you why. (jumps down from the log with the Irelanders and starts singing) Cause I'm alone~

There's no one here beside me~

My problems have all gone~

There's no one to deride me~

But you've gotta have friends...~

Shrek: Stop singing!

Irelanders: What?

Shrek: (picking Donkey up by his ears and tail) Well, it's no wonder you don't have any friends! (puts Donkey down)

Chris Kratt: Not true. Everyone can have friends with singing.

Martin Kratt: Yeah. And there are other ways besides it.

Donkey: Wow. Only a true friend would be that truly honest.

Applejack: Yep. Somepony say, me for example. Cause after all, honesty is my element of harmony.

Shrek: Listen, all of you. Take a look at me. What am I?

[Everyone looks at Shrek up and down]

Donkey: Uh... really tall?

Shrek: No! I'm an ogre! You know, "grab your torch and pitchforks"! Doesn't that bother you lot?

Donkey and Irelanders: (shake their heads) Nope.

Shrek: Really?

Donkey and Irelanders: Really, really.

Shrek: Oh.

Connor Lacey: Plus, we've read about ogres in books but we never thought they were real.

Blythe Baxter: Yeah. I always thought ogres were mean, scary and ugly but you're nothing like that.

Chris Kratt: Looks like maybe ogres are really misunderstood creatures after all.

Donkey: Man, we like you. What's your name?

Shrek: Uh... Shrek.

Connor Lacey: Since introductions are in order, we might as well introduce ourselves too. I'm Connor Lacey.

Twilight Sparkle: My name is Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Mewtwo: I am Mewtwo.

Donkey: Nice to meet y'all. I'm Donkey. (to Shrek) Shrek? Well, you know what we like about you, Shrek? (follows Shrek with the Irelanders in tow) You've got that kind of I-don't-care-what-nobody-thinks-of-me thing. We like that. We respect that, Shrek. You alright.

[They come to the top of the hill and look down at Shrek's home]

Donkey: Whoo. Look at that. Who would wanna live in a place like that?

Shrek: That would be my home.

Crash: Yeah. Besides, most creatures build their habitats in trees and other plants. It's nature.

Eddie: Like us possums.

Donkey: Oh, and it is lovely. Just beautiful. You know, you are quite a decorator. It's amazing what you've done with such a modest budget. (looks at a boulder) I like that boulder. That is a nice boulder.

[The Irelanders and Donkey follow Shrek to his house and look around at his "Keep Out" and "Beware Ogre" signs]

Russel Ferguson: I guess you don't, uh, entertain much, do you?

Shrek: I like my privacy.

Rainbow Dash: Oh, come on, Shrek. Lighten up. What's your deal with having guests?

Shrek: That's for me to know and for you to find out. But if you stick around long enough, you will find out.

Rainbow Dash: Okay, sheesh.

Donkey: You know what? I do too. That's another thing we have in common. Like I hate it when you've got somebody in your face, you try to give them a hint and they won't leave. And then there's that big awkward silence you know...

[Everything falls silent as Shrek looks back at Donkey and the Irelanders]

Donkey: Can we stay with you?

Shrek: (stammers) What?

Donkey: Can we stay with you, please?

Shrek: (sarcastically) Of course.

Sid: Really?

Shrek: No.

Connor Lacey: Oh, come on!

Donkey: Please! We don't wanna go back there! You don't know what it's like to be considered a freak! (Shrek stares) Well, maybe you do. But that's why we've gotta stick together! You've gotta let us stay! Please! Please!

Shrek: Okay! Okay! (opening the door) But one night only.

Donkey: Oh. (heading inside with the Irelanders in tow) Thank you.

Shrek: Ah! What are you...? No! No!

Brooke: Nice place you've got here, Shrek.

Mater: Dadgum. I gotta admit, this is cool.

Chug: Oh, yeah. You could fit a whole plane in here.

Dusty Crophopper: (chuckles) Very true, Chug. Very true.

Donkey: Oh, this is gonna be fun! We can stay up late! Swapping manly stories and in the morning, I'm making waffles!

Shrek: (growls)

Paxton: Now, we better see if there's any guest rooms here.

Donkey: Where do, uh, we sleep?

Shrek: Outside!

Stephen: What? But you can't just throw your guests outside. They need to be inside to stay for the night.

Shrek: I don't care! You're sleeping outside and that's final!

[The Irelanders went silenced by this]

Donkey: Oh, uh, I guess that's cool. I mean, we don't know you and you don't know us, so I guess outside is best, you know. (sniffs as he gets off the chair goes to the door with the Irelanders) Here we go. (exits the house with the Irelanders) Good night.

[Shrek slams the door behind them]

Sid: This is familiar now.

Wendy: How so?

Sid: Well, this is just like when The Irelanders and I met Manny.

Connor Lacey: Oh yeah. He was a real grouch and wants to be alone before we met him.

Manny: Yeah. But hey, look on the bright side, at least it's not raining this time.

Hiro: Well, I guess we will have to make the best of our single night here.

Diego: And besides, Shrek can learn to accept company ship in time just like Manny did.

Manny: Yeah, yeah, Diego. We get it.

Donkey: I mean, I do like the outdoors. I'm a donkey. I was born outside. Oh, well. Sitting by ourselves outside, I guess. You know, by ourselves outside. (sniffs) I'm all alone~

There's nobody here beside me~

[Shrek ignores them and heads into the house. Later that night, a cauldron boils over a fire as Shrek puts an eyeball in a glass of water and sips from it. He looks at the food on his table before looking at the door. He sighs and sits down. He then gets an idea and yanks a huge dollop of earwax out of his ear. He puts it on a bit of wood and lights it with a match, making it resemble a candle. Shrek then picks up a knife and fork and starts to eat. Donkey watches from the window before walking back to the Irelanders who are already fast asleep. He lays down and shuts his eyes, smiling happily. Then, just as Shrek is about to eat another bite of food, he hears the door opening. He sighs, puts the cutlery down and walks to the door]

Shrek: I thought I told you all to stay outside!

Donkey: We are outside!

Scoop: Yeah! We haven't moved an inch!

[Shrek then hears a rattling noise behind him and sees a shadow of a mouse moving across the wall. He goes back to the table to investigate as another mouse shadow moves behind him. He looks under the table but sees nothing. Then as he looks on top of it, he finds three mice wearing sunglasses and carrying walking sticks walking on it, much to his shock]

First Blind Mouse: Well, gents, it's a far cry from the farm but what choice do we have?

Second Blind Mouse: Well, it's not home but it'll do just fine.

Third Blind Mouse: (bouncing on the half eaten slug) What a lovely bed.

Shrek: (grabbing him) Gotcha!

Third Blind Mouse: (sniffs at Shrek's ear) I've found some cheese! (bites it)

Shrek: Ah! (swipes at him)

Third Blind Mouse: Bleuh! Awful stuff!

[He jumps off Shrek's shoulder and lands on a spoon, launching brown liquid into Shrek's face]

Shrek: Ugh!

First Blind Mouse: Is that you, Gorder?

Gorder: How did you know?

Shrek: Enough! (grabs the three mice) What are you doing in my house?! (gets hit in the back by Snow White's glass coffin) Hey!

[Shrek sees the Seven Dwarves behind him. One of them waves]

Shrek: Oh, no, no, no, no! Dead broad off the table!

Dwarf: Where are we supposed to put her? The bed's taken.

Shrek: Huh?

[Shrek moves a curtain aside and there, sleeping in his bed, is the Big Bad Wolf]

Shrek: (gasps)

Big Bad Wolf: What?

Shrek: (carrying Wolf to the door) I live in a swamp. I put up signs. I'm a terrifying ogre! What do I have to do to get a little privacy? (throws Wolf outside) Oh, no.

[Outside, there are dozens of fairytale creatures taking refuge in the swamp, much to Shrek's utter horror]

Shrek: No! (dodges a witch) No!

Witches: (cackling)

Girl: Don't push.

[Shrek looks around at the dozens of fairytale creatures surrounding his home with some of the Irelanders trying to comfort them over their loss]

Shrek: WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP?! (echoes)

Everyone: (gasp)

Fairies: (talk over each other as they hide in a tent)

Shrek: All right, get out of here. All of you, move it! Come on! Let's go! Hapaya! Hapaya! Hey!

[Some dwarves and some fairies run and fly into Shrek's house]

Shrek: No, no! No, no. Not there. Not there.

[They lock the door. Shrek yanks on it but it won't open. He sighs and turns to Donkey and the Irelanders]

Donkey: Hey, don't look at us! We didn't invite them!

Dora The Explorer: Si. They all just came here on their own.

Pinocchio: Well, gosh. No one invited us.

Shrek: What?

Pinocchio: We were forced to come here.

Shrek: By who?

First Little Pig: Lord Farquaad. He huffed and he puffed and he... signed an eviction notice.

Fluttershy: Oh, you poor things.

Connor Lacey: So Lord Farquaad was the one behind the fairytale creature sale in the first place.

Mewtwo: Yes. Now we know who was behind all that trouble to begin with.

Penny Ling: Why did he even want them sold anyway?

Paxton: Maybe because he must have hated them just like Frollo hates gypsies.

Gavin: You could be right, Pax.

Shrek: (sighs) Alright. (to the Fairytale Creatures) Who knows where this Farquaad guy is?

[There's silence]

Donkey: Oh, I do. I know where he is.

Shrek: Does anyone else know where to find him?

[The baby bear raises his paw but the father bear stops him. Wolf and a wizard point at each other]

Shrek: Anyone at all?

Donkey: (bouncing up and down) Me, me!

Shrek: Anyone?

Donkey: (still bouncing) Oh! Oh, pick me! Oh, I know! I know! Me, me!

Shrek: (sighs) Okay! Fine! (to the Fairytale Creatures) Attention, all fairytale things! Do not get comfortable! Your welcome is officially worn out! In fact, I'm going to see this guy Farquaad right now and get you all off my land and back where you came from!

Fairy Tale Characters: (cheering)

[A flock of white doves drop a flowery cape on Shrek's back]

Shrek: Oh! (pointing to Donkey and the Irelanders) You lot! You're all coming with me.

Connor Lacey: That's the spirit, Shrek! Let's go find Farquaad and give him a piece of our minds!

Irelanders: Okay, Connor!

Donkey: All right, that's what I like to hear, man. Shrek and Donkey, two stalwart friends, off on a whirlwind big-city adventure along with a bunch of other characters. I love it!

Zazu: Look out, Farquaad! Here we come!

[Shrek grabs a torch from a dwarf and the heroes walk across a log bridge over the river]

Donkey: On the road again~ Sing it with me, Shrek. I can't wait to get on the road again~

Shrek: (grabbing Donkey's flower crown in annoyance) What did I say about singing?

Donkey: Well, can I whistle?

Shrek: No.

Donkey: Well can I hum it?

Shrek: Alright, hum it.

Donkey: (humming On the Road Again)

[The heroes head on into the night. Elsewhere, a gloved hand slams a cup down on a table. A pair of red boots walk across a corridor while a figure in a hood pours milk into the cup. A hand pulls on a glove as the towering figure of Lord Farquaad walks through the corridor smirking evilly. He approaches two knights standing in front of a big door. They stand to attention and move to let him pass. Lord Farquaad pushes the doors open and enters the dungeon. He watches the hooded figure dunking a smaller figure into the milk]

Gingy: (gurgling) No!

Lord Farquaad: That's enough! He's ready to talk.

Gingy: (coughing)

[The hooded figure slaps Gingy down on a tray as he continues to cough. Lord Farquaad walks up to the table laughing evilly. Seeing that the table is too high, he clears his throat and the table is lowered. He then brings out Gingy's broken legs and starts playing with them]

Lord Farquaad: Run, run, run, as fast as you can! You can't catch me! I'm the Gingerbread Man!

Gingy: You're a monster!

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: (coming out of the shadows) Oh, please. Lord Farquaad's not the monster here, you are!

Lord Farquaad: (throws one of Gingy's legs onto the tray) She's correct. You and the rest of that (crushing Gingy's other leg in his hand) fairytale trash poisoning my perfect world. Now tell us, where are the others?!

Cozy Glow: Gingy, could you pweeeease—?

Queen Chrysalis: Threats are more my speed. Speak!

Gingy: Eat me! (spits in Farquaad's face)

Lord Farquaad: (grunts and wipes the spit off) We've tried to be fair to you creatures but now our patience has reached it's end! Tell us! Or I'll...! (begins yanking on one of Gingy's gumdrop buttons)

Gingy: No! Not the buttons! (Farquaad stops) Not my gumdrop buttons!

Lord Farquaad: Alright then! (lowering a light over Gingy) Who's hiding them?!

Gingy: (sitting up) Okay. I'll tell you. Do you know the Muffin Man?

Lord Farquaad: The Muffin Man?

Gingy: The Muffin Man.

Lord Farquaad: Yes. We know the Muffin Man. Who lives on Dury Lane?

Gingy: Well, she's married to the Muffin Man.

Lord Farquaad: The Muffin Man?!

Gingy: The Muffin Man!

Lord Farquaad: She's married to the Muffin Man.

Janja: Ugh, this is getting us nowhere!

Reirei: Tell me about it. What he's saying doesn't even make any sense!

[Just then, the door bursts open and the captain comes in]

Captain of the Guard: My lords and ladyships. We found it.

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: Finally.

Lord Farquaad: Well, what are you waiting for? Bring it in!

[The captain brings in a covered object and hangs it on a hook. He then removes the cover revealing a mirror. Everyone gathers around it as the mirror gains a white mask like face]

Thelonius: (gasp)

Gingy: (awed gasp)

Lord Farquaad: Magic Mirror...

Gingy: Don't tell them anything!

Conrad: Oh, be quiet, you!

[He pushes Gingy into the bin]

Gingy: No!

Robbie Rotten: (sighs) Hopefully I'II get to eat him later on to shut him up.

Paisley Paver: Perhaps so, Robbie but right now let's just focus on getting some answers.

Lord Farquaad: Evening. (walks up to the mirror) Mirror, Mirror, on the wall. Is this not the most perfect kingdom of them all?

Magic Mirror: Well, technically, you're not a king.

Lord Farquaad: Uh, Thelonius?

[Thelonius picks up a hand mirror and smashes it with his fist]

Tirek: This centaur could destroy you before you blink, so choose your words carefully.

Lord Farquaad: You were saying?

Magi Mirror: What I mean is, uh, you're not a king yet. Heh. But... but you can become one. All you have to do is marry a princess.

Soto: (in Scar's live action voice) Is that so?

Magic Mirror: (chuckles) So, just sit back and relax, my lords and ladyships, because it's time for you to meet today's eligible bachelorettes. And here they are! Bachelorette number one is a mentally abused shut-in from a kingdom far, far away. She likes sushi and hot tubbing anytime. Her hobbies include cooking and cleaning for her two evil sisters. Please welcome Cinderella. Bachelorette number two is a cape-wearing girl from the land of fancy. Although she lives with seven other men, she's not easy. Just kiss her dead, frozen lips and find out what a live wire she is. Come on. Give it up for Snow White! And last, but certainly not the least, bachelorette number three is a fiery redhead, from a dragon-guarded castle surrounded by hot boiling lava! But don't let that cool you off. She's a loaded pistol who likes piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. Yours for the rescuing, Princess Fiona! So will it be, bachelorette number one, bachelorette number two or bachelorette number three?

Guards: (all talking over each other)

Lord Farquaad: (struggling to decide which princess to pick)

Thelonius: Three! Pick number 3, my lord!

Lord Farquaad: Okay! Okay! Uh, number 3!

Magic Mirror: Lord Farquaad, you've chosen Princess Fiona.

[The song If You Like Pinyacaltas plays in the background as the guards and Thelonius cheer]

Thelonius: (laughs whilst clapping)

Judge Claude Frollo: Well, that went really well, didn't it?

Ronno: You said it, judge.

Lord Farquaad: Princess Fiona. She's perfect. All I have to do is find someone who could go...

Magic Mirror: But I probably should mention the little thing that happens at night.

Lord Farquaad: I'll do it.

Magic Mirror: Yes, but after sunset...

Lord Farquaad: Silence! I will make this Princess Fiona my queen and Duloc will finally have the perfect king! (clicking his fingers) Captain, assemble your finest men! We're going to have a tournament! (to the villains) As for you, I'm afraid you can't make any appearances. We do not want those characters you told me about finding out you're here, at least for now.

Kiburi: You got it, your lordship.

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: When you become king, my stepson won't know what bit him.

[Meanwhile, Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders emerge from a sunflower field in a horse cart parking lot]

Donkey: Well, that's it. That's it. Right there. That's Duloc. I told you I'd find it.

Frozone/Lucius Best: Well, I never doubted you for a second.

Leo (Bob the Builder): Well, at least he got us here.

Shrek: So, that must be Lord Farquaad's castle.

Donkey: Uh-uh. That's the place.

Vinnie Terrio: Man, that's one tall building.

Connor Lacey: Tell me about it. It must've cost Farquaad a fortune to have that built.

Shrek: I don't know about you, Connor, but do you think maybe he's compensating for something? (chuckles)

[Shrek walks on further with the Irelanders following. Donkey stays put for a moment before running to catch up with them]

Donkey: Hey, wait! Wait up, guys.

[The heroes walk up to the entrance where a man wearing giant Farquaad head stands ushering people inside]

Shrek: Hey, you!

Man: (screams and runs off)

Shrek: Wait a second! Look, I'm not gonna eat you! I just... uh, look, I just... (sighs)

Man: (screaming)

[Shrek and the heroes walk on, Shrek knocking over the bars with ropes on them as he goes. The man with the Farquaad head runs into a wall and falls on his back, knocking himself out. Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders stare at him for a moment before Shrek and some of the Irelanders with two legs push their way one at a time through some metal bars. They hear the bars turn and see Donkey has gotten himself stuck on one of them. He presses down on the bar and the bars spin, throwing him off]

Donkey: Heh.

Starlight Glimmer: (struggling to push a bar down) Boy this isn't as easy for us ponies.

Discord: Perhaps if I could.....

[He snap his eagle claw and transport them to the other side]

Zoe Trent: Well, that was unexpected but it made a much easier option.

Discord: You're welcome.

Shrek: (sighs)

[They walk into Duloc but there is no one around apart from silent music playing on speakers. The heroes look around]

Shrek: It's quiet. Too quiet. Where is everybody?

Lofty: Maybe they're doing something else.

Mage Meadowbrook: Or it could be a trap.

Kim Possible: Yeah. Traps always start with being quiet.

Donkey: (seeing an information booth and running up to it) Hey, look at this!

[Donkey yanks a golden lever with his teeth. The booth starts ticking and he hides behind Shrek and the Irelanders. The ticking gets faster and the doors swing open revealing the Duloc Dolls as the song Welcome To Duloc starts playing]

Duloc Dolls: Welcome to Duloc~

Such a perfect town~

Here we have some rules~

Let us lay them down~

Don't make waves, stay in line~

And we'll get along fine~

Duloc is a perfect place~

Please keep off of the grass~

Shine your shoes, wipe your face~

Duloc is, Duloc is~

Duloc is a perfect place~

[The doors shut and the booth takes the heroes' photo. The photo slides out, showing the heroes' confused faces and the words Welcome To Duloc underneath]

Pinkie Pie: What just happened?

Muck: Don't ask me.

June: But you've gotta admit that was a nice song.

Iago: Yeah. And the photo looks nice.

Donkey: Wow. Let's do that again.

Shrek: No! No! (grabbing Donkey by the tail and yanking him back) No, no, no! No.

Manny: Wait, is it me or can I hear trumpets?

Connor Lacey: It's coming from over there.

[They look in the direction of the trumpet playing]

Lord Farquaad: Brave knights...

[The heroes walk through a tunnel towards an arena, Donkey humming the whole time]

Donkey: (humming Welcome to Duloc)

Shrek: (turning to him in annoyance) Alright, you're going the right way for a smack bottom.

Donkey: Sorry about that.

[There's cheering and applause as they enter the arena]

Lord Farquaad: That champion shall have the honor. No, no, the privilege to go forth and rescue the lovely Princess Fiona from the fiery keep of the Dragon. If for any reason the winner is unsuccessful, the first runner-up will take his place. And so on and so forth. Some of you may die but it's a sacrifice I am willing to make.

[The crowd cheers as a man holds up a sign which says Applause]

Lord Farquaad: Let the tournament begin!

[Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders walk forward and the knights turn and spot them then move to let them pass]

Guards: (gasp)

Lord Farquaad: What is that?

Crowd: (gasp)

Lord Farquaad: Oh, it's hideous!

Shrek: Well, that's not very nice. (looks at Donkey and the Irelanders) It's just a donkey and a bunch of other weird characters.

Donkey: Huh?

Irelanders: What?

Lord Farquaad: Indeed. Knights, new plan! The one who kills the ogre (the heroes gasp at this) will be named champion! Have at him!

Crowd: Get him! Kill him!

Shrek: (backing away from the knights) Oh, hey, now come on. Hang on now.

Connor Lacey: We can talk about this.

[Shrek backs into a table with cups on it and picks one up]

Woman: Go ahead! Get him!

Shrek: Can't we just settle this over a pint?

Crowd: Kill the beast!

Shrek: No? Alright then. (guzzles some beer from the cup then steps over to a barrel) Come on!

[Shrek smashes the handle on the barrel with the cup, causing a jet of beer to spray out, knocking the knights over. The song Bad Reputation plays in the background as an all out arena battle starts. Donkey gets up on a barrel and rolls it over two knights, flattening them. Lord Farquaad watches in disbelief. Knights run towards Shrek but Donkey knocks a few of them over with the barrel. Two knights chase Shrek into a pen which two horses gallop out of when they see Shrek coming. Shrek pushes against the ropes and flings himself at the knights, knocking them over. The crowd gasps and suddenly begin to cheer Shrek on. Shrek jumps on another knight and then belly flops another. A knight points a spear at Shrek, making the crowd gasp until Shrek grabs the spear from him and picks him up]

Donkey: Hey, Shrek! Tag me! Tag me!

[Shrek carries the knight over to Donkey. Donkey head-butts the knight, knocking him out. The crowd cheers as Shrek takes in their applause laughing and striking a pose]

Shrek: (laughs) Yah!

[Seeing a knight behind him, Shrek jumps and lands on the knight, knocking him down]

Woman: The chair! Give him the chair!

[Shrek hits the knight with a chair, knocking him out. Farquaad face-palms in dismay. Shrek then throws a knight into the ropes and strikes him with his legs. He then grabs another knight and flips him over. He pins another knight down then bangs another's head on the ground before spinning the final one and throwing him into one of the fence posts. Donkey then kicks the final knight, knocking him out. The crowd goes wild as Farquaad seems impressed]

Crowd: (cheering)

Shrek: (laughs) Oh, yeah! (growls while flexing his muscles) Thank you! Thank you very much! I'm here till Thursday! Try the Beal! (laughs)

[Farquaad singles to the guards who point crossbows at the heroes, much to the crowd's horror]

Iago: I thought our side won!

Koki: Well, clearly, he's not ready to quit yet!

Guard: Shall I give the order, sir?

Lord Farquaad: No. I have a better idea. People of Duloc, I give you our champions!

Crowd: (cheering)

Shrek: What?

Irelanders: Huh?

Lord Farquaad: Congratulations, ogre and friends. You've all won the honor of embarking on a great and noble quest.

Shrek: Quest? We're already on a quest. A quest to get my swamp back.

Lord Farquaad: Your swamp?

Shrek: Yeah! My swamp! Where you dumped those fairytale creatures!

Fluttershy: And what you did to them was very mean!

Connor Lacey: Yeah! You had no right to have them sold like that the other day!

Sid: An excellent point.

Manny: Shut up!

Lord Farquaad: Indeed. Alright, ogre and friends. I'll make you a deal. Go on this quest for me and I'll give you your swamp back.

Shrek: Exactly the way it was?

Lord Farquaad: Down to the last slime covered toadstool.

Mewtwo: And the squatters?

Lord Farquaad: As good as gone, physic clone Pokémon.

[There's silence as Shrek begins to take Farquaad's words into consideration while the guards look at each other in confusion]

Shrek: What kind of quest?

[Later, the heroes are walking back through the sunflower field]

Donkey: So let me get this straight. You're gonna go fight a dragon and rescue a princess just so Farquaad will give you back the swamp, which you only don't have because he filled it full of freaks in the first place. Is that about right?

Shrek: You know what? Maybe there's a good reason donkeys shouldn't talk.

Ace: Oh, come on, Shrek. It's not that bad. It's nice to chat every so often. Even to donkeys.

Apple White: Yeah. So stop being such a grouch and let Donkey talk if he wants to.

Donkey: I don't get it, Shrek. Why didn't you just pull some of that ogre stuff on him? You know, throttle him. Lay siege to his fortress. Grind his bones to make your bread. You know, the whole ogre trip.

Shrek: Oh, I know what. Maybe I could decapitated an entire village and put their heads on a plate. Got a knife, cut open their spleens and drink their fluids. Does that sound good to you?

Donkey: Uh, no, not really, no.

Violet Parr: That sounds a bit gruesome if you ask me.

Jimmy Z: Tell me about it. It gives me the chills just to think about it. [shudders]

Shrek: For your information, there's a lot more to ogres than people think.

Donkey: Example?

Shrek: Example? Okay, uh, ogres are (shows an onion to Donkey and the Irelanders) like onions.

Donkey: (sniffs and recoils in disgust) They stink?

Shrek: Yes... (realizing his mistake) No.

Donkey: Or they make you cry?

Shrek: No.

Donkey: Oh, you leave them out in the sun and they get all brown and start sprouting little white hairs.

Shrek: No! Layers. (taking a small piece of the onion out and throwing it away) Onions have layers. Ogres have layers. Onions have layers. You get it. We both have layers. (throws the onion on the ground and walks away sighing)

Chris Kratt: Well, that's one fact about ogres that no one even knows about.

Martin Kratt: That's true, bro.

Donkey: Oh, you both have layers. Huh. (sniffs at the onion and recoils in disgust) You know, not everybody likes onions.

Pinkie Pie: I know! Cake! (galloping up to Shrek) Everybody loves cakes! Cakes have layers!

Shrek: I don't care what everyone likes. Ogres are not like cakes. (walks away again)

Donkey: You know what else everybody likes? Parfaits. Have you ever met a person and said "Hey. Let's get some parfaits." and they say "Hey, I don't like no parfaits."? Parfaits are delicious.

Shrek: NO! You dense, irritating miniature beast of burden. Ogres are like onions, end of story. Bye-bye. See you later. (walks away again)

[Donkey stays put for a moment before heading to catch up with Shrek and the Irelanders]

Donkey: Parfaits may be the most delicious thing on the whole darn planet.

Shrek: You know, I think I preferred your humming.

Manny: Now I can see that you and I have so much in common with Donkey and Sid.

Sid: Well, I think he's stressed and that's why he eat so much. I mean, it's hard to get fat on a vegan diet.

Shrek: I'm not fat. It's my clothes. They make me look poofy.

Manny: Just like my fur which makes me look big. I often said that to people when they think I'm fat too.

Sid: Alright, you have fat clothes, but when you're ready to talk, we're here.

Donkey: Do you have a tissue or something? Cause I'm making a mess. Just the word parfaits made me start slobbering.

[The song I'm On My Way starts playing as the heroes make their journey towards the Dragon's Keep. On a hill, Donkey stops to kick something off before following Shrek and the Irelanders. The heroes then walk through a valley of flowers with tall rocks that night before making a camp fire and falling asleep. The next morning, Shrek tries to put out the fire with his foot but ends up burning it. Donkey pees on the fire, putting it out before the heroes carry on. They then arrive at the rocky peek overlooking a tall craggy mountain with clouds swirling above it. The heroes then make their way up the mountain as the song ends. Later, as the heroes are nearing the top, Donkey stops and waves off a nasty smell with his hoof]

Donkey: Ooh, Shrek! Did you do that?

Dizzy: Do what?

Donkey: He just needed to pass gas! (to Shrek) Man, you've gotta warn somebody before you just crack one off. My mouth was open and everything.

Shrek: Believe me, Donkey, if it was me, you'd be dead!

Bunga: Yeah. Besides, my odor isn't as strong as his.

Buck: The honey badger's got a point. (sniffs) It's brimstone. We must be getting close.

Connor Lacey: Good solving skills there, Buck. We're almost there.

Donkey: Yeah, right, brimstone. Don't be talking about it's the brimstone, weasel. I know what I smelt and it wasn't no brimstone. It didn't come off no stone neither.

[The heroes climb to the top of the ridge and look over the edge. They sees a bridge spanning over boiling lava to the castle which is missing some of it's spires and the tallest spire reaching up to the sky which a small slight emitting from it while birds fly around it and lightning flashes]

Irelanders: Whoa.

Shrek: Sure, it's big enough. But look at the location. (laughs while climbing down the over side)

Donkey: Uh, Shrek, uh, um, remember when you said that... that... that ogres have layers?

Shrek: Oh, aye.

Donkey: (jumping down onto the ground) Well, I have a bit of a confession to make. Donkeys don't have layers. We... we wear our fear right out there on our sleeves.

Mushu: Wait a second. Donkeys don't have sleeves.

Donkey: You know what I mean.

Shrek: Oh, you can't tell us you're afraid of heights.

Donkey: No, I'm just a little uncomfortable about being on a rickety bridge over a boiling lake of lava.

Sunil Nevla: I'm not going out onto that bridge. I'II fall into the lava.

Shrek: Come on, Sunil, we're right here beside ya, okay? For emotional support. We'll just tackle this thing together one little baby step at a time.

Donkey: Really?

Shrek: Really, really.

Donkey: Okay. That makes us feel so much better.

Shrek: Just keep moving. And don't look down.

Hiro: Single file, everyone.

Roley: Okay, Hiro.

Donkey: Okay. Don't look down. Don't look down. Keep on moving and don't look down. Don't look down. Keep on moving and don't look down.

[Just then, Donkey steps on a board too hard and it breaks causing Donkey to look down as it falls towards the lava]

Donkey: (gasps) Shrek! I'm looking down! (screams) Oh, Gosh! I can't do this! Just let me off right now please!

Stephen: But you're already half way!

Donkey: Yeah, but I know that half is safe!

Shrek: Okay! Fine! We don't have time for this! You go back!

Donkey: Shrek! No! Wait!

Shrek: Just, Donkey... Come on! Let's have a dance then shall we?

Irelanders: Shrek! Don't do that!

[Shrek stops shaking the bridge]

Shrek: Oh, I'm sorry. Do what? (realizes what they're talking about) Oh. (shakes the bridge again) This?

Donkey: Yes! That!

Shrek: Yes? Yes. Do it. Okay.

Donkey: (screams) No, Shrek!

Shrek: You just said do it! I'm doing it!

Irelanders: Cut it out!

Donkey: Oh, Gosh! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! Shrek, I'm gonna die! (opens his eyes and sees that he's made it all the way across safely) Oh.

Shrek: That'll do, Donkey. (taps his muzzle) That'll do.

Ace: Well at least we're all across now.

Melody: But that was very dangerous! Shrek could have got us killed!

Jimmy Z: But at least we got across, right?

Kim Possible: Yeah. Besides, it was just one broken board.

[Donkey looks at Shrek before looking at the bridge and then at Shrek again]

Donkey: Cool. (gallops after Shrek and the others) So where is this fire breathing pain in the neck anyway?

Shrek: Inside. Waiting for us to rescue her. (chuckles)

Donkey: I was talking about the dragon, Shrek.

[Later, the heroes are inside the castle and are currently walking up some stairs]

Donkey: (whispering) You afraid?

Shrek: No. But, ssh!

Donkey: (whispering) Oh, good. Me neither.

Maisie Lockwood: This place is so scary.

Tread: I know. Still no sign of the dragon though.

Spike: Me, Mushu and Smolder?

Tread: No. The one who guards Princess Fiona.

Smolder: Oh. We thought you were talking about us since we're dragons.

Tread: Well, I wasn't.

Connor Lacey: Guys, keep it down will you?

Twilight Sparkle: Yeah. The dragon of this castle might hear you.

Tread: Sorry.

Donkey: Aah! (runs to catch up) Course there's nothing wrong with being afraid, you know. Fear's a sensible response to an unfamiliar situation. Unfamiliar dangerous situation, I might add, with a dragon that breathes fire and eats knights and breathes fire. It sure doesn't mean you're a coward if you're a little scared, you know what I mean? Cause I sure as heck ain't no coward, I know that.

[Donkey walks into a knight skeleton, knocking armor all over the place, the helmet onto his head and the knight's head fall off, making him jump]

Donkey: (yelps)

Shrek: Donkey. Two things, okay? Shut. Up. Now go over there and see if you can find any stairs.

Sunset Shimmer: What have stairs got to do with this? I thought we were looking for the princess.

Shrek: The princess will be up the stairs in the highest room in the tallest tower.

Mushu: What makes you think she'll be there?

Shrek: I read it in a book once.

Discord: Well, I guess reading does come with knowledge.

Connor Lacey: That's true, Discord.

Mewtwo: Well, we might as well go and find those stairs, guys.

Donkey: Well, cool. You handle the dragon, we'll handle the stairs. Oh, we'll find those stairs. We'll whip their butt too. That's right. Those stairs won't know which way they're going.

[Later, Donkey and the Irelanders enter an empty room through some big double doors]

Donkey: We're gonna take drastic steps. Kick it to the curb. Don't mess with us. We're the stair masters. We've mastered the stairs. I wish I had a step right here right now I'd step all over it.

[A yellow eye with a slit pupil stares at them. Meanwhile, Shrek is walking when he sees the tallest tower right in front of him]

Shrek: Well, at least we know where the princess is, but where's the--

Donkey: DRAGON!!!

Irelanders: Run!

[The dragon breathes fire as the Irelanders and Donkey dodge out of the way before running off. The dragon bursts out of the wall and chases after them towards Shrek who turns and sees the dragon. The dragon breathes a fireball at the heroes]

Shrek: Guys, look out! Aah!

[Shrek dodges out of the way of the fireball. Donkey and the Irelanders back away from the dragon]

Donkey: (yelling)

Thud: (seeing the dragon about to breathe fire) Get down!

[The dragon breathes another fireball as they duck, the fireball just touching the tip of Donkey's tail, burning it]

Donkey: (whimpers)

[Just as it seems like the end for Donkey and the Irelanders, the dragon feels something on it's tail. It turns and sees that Shrek has grabbed it's tail]

Shrek: Gotcha!

[The dragon nearly stamps on Donkey and the Irelanders but they dodge out of the way and run into the nearest spire for safety]

Shrek: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! (screaming)

[The dragon swings Shrek around on it's tail before throwing him into the air. He falls through the roof of the tower and lands in the room where Princess Fiona is sleeping. She wakes up and spots him. Meanwhile, outside, the dragon breathes fire into the spire as Donkey and the Irelanders run out of it onto a bridge]

Donkey and Irelanders: (panting)

[The dragon uses it's tail to break the bridge forcing Donkey and the Irelanders to run back the way they came but the dragon breaks that side too. They try to run forward again but the dragon breaks some more of the bridge off trapping them. The Irelanders and Donkey stare fearfully up at the dragon]

Dragon: (roars)

Iago: Oh, no! We're trapped!

Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Ladybug: Well, looks like we're gonna have to fight our way out!

Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir: How? That thing has us outnumbered!

Donkey: No. No. No. No! Oh, no! Ah! (dislodges a piece of the bridge) Oh, what large teeth you have!

Dragon: (growls)

Donkey: I mean your white sparkly teeth! I know you probably hear this all the time from your food but you really must bleach or something because that is one dazzling smile you got there. And do I detect a hint of minty freshness? And you know what else? You know what else? You're...

[The dragon moves forward revealing that it's female]

Donkey: You're a girl dragon! Oh, sure! I mean, of course you're a girl dragon. 'Cause, you're just reeking a feminine beauty. What's the matter with you? You got something in your eye?

[Dragon blows a heart shaped smoke cloud at Donkey]

Donkey: Ooh. Oh. Oh. Man, we'd really love to stay, but, you know, I'm, uh-- (coughs) I'm an asthmatic, and we don't know if it'd work out if you're gonna blow smoke rings and stuff.

Tiny: Is now really the time to be flirting, Donkey?

Donkey: No, not exactly but enough about that.

Donkey and the Irelanders: Shrek!

[Dragon picks up Donkey and the Irelanders in her mouth and walks away to her chambers carrying them]

Donkey: (gasps and whimpers) Shrek! Shrek! Shrek!

[Meanwhile, up in the tallest tower, Shrek gets up. Fiona watches this from her bed as he stands up and dusts himself off. She straightens herself up and lays back on her bed. She then grabs some flowers from the bed side vase. Hearing Fiona, Shrek turns and sees her. He walks over to her and stares at her for a moment. Fiona puckers up her lips for a kiss but Shrek shakes her awake]

Fiona: Whoa! Wha!

Shrek: Wake up.

Fiona: What?!

Shrek: Are you Princess Fiona?

Fiona: I am. Awaiting a knight so boldest to rescue me.

Shrek: Oh, that's nice. Now, let's go! (starts to walk off)

Fiona: But, wait! Sir knight! (Shrek stops) This be-eth our first meeting. Should it not be a wonderful, (throwing the flowers aside and laying back on her bed) romantic moment?

Shrek: Yeah. Sorry, lady. (grabs her and yanks her to her feet towards the door) There's no time!

Fiona: Hey! Wait! What are you doing? You know, you sweep me off my feet out yonder window and down a rope onto your valiant steed!

Shrek: You've had a lot of time to plan this, haven't you?

Fiona: Mm-hmm.

[Shrek barges through the door and runs down the tower stairs dragging Fiona with him and grabbing a torch on the way]

Fiona: (screams, grunts) But we have to savor this moment! You could recite an epic poem for me. A ballad? A sonnet! A limerick? Or something!

Shrek: I don't think so.

Fiona: Can I at least know the name of my champion?

Shrek: Uh, Shrek.

Fiona: Sir Shrek. (handing Shrek a handkerchief) I pray that you take this favor as a token of my gratitude.

[Shrek takes the handkerchief from Fiona]

Shrek: Uh, thanks. (uses it to wipe his face then hands it back to Fiona)

Dragon: (roaring)

Fiona: You didn't slay the dragon?!

Shrek: It's on my to-do list! (grabs Fiona by the arm and runs off dragging her behind him) Now, come on!

Fiona: But this isn't right! You're supposed to charge in, sword drawn, banner flying. That's what all the other knights did.

Shrek: Yeah, right before they burst into flame.

Fiona: That's not the point!

[Shrek lets go and runs on]

Fiona: Oh! Wait. Where are you going? The exit's over there.

Shrek: Well, I have to save my mule and squires.

Fiona: What kind of knight are you?

Shrek: I'm one of a kind.

[Shrek opens some double doors and walks to the edge of a stair case in Dragon's chambers where she sits surrounded by jewels and gold coins and has Donkey and the Irelanders wrapped in her tail coils]

Donkey: Slow down. Slow down, baby, please. I believe it's healthy to get to know someone over a long period of time. Just call me old-fashioned, you know. (laughs) I don't to rush into a physical relationship. I'm not emotionally ready for a commitment of, uh, this-- Magnitude really is the word I'm looking for. Magnitude--

[Dragon runs her claw over Donkey's ears and round to his chin]

Donkey: Hey that's unwanted physical contact!

[Spike looks around at the jewels around him]

Spike: Oooh. So many gems!

Zoe Trent: Spike, though they are lovely and desirable, our very lives are at stake here!

Diego: If I don't know any better, I'd say that dragon is in love with Donkey.

Connor Lacey: (amused) You could be right, Diego.

Sci-Twi: (seeing the love look in Dragon's eyes) I think he is right.

Kion: Our only hopes is that she'II spare us if she's really good.

Korra: We'II wait and see.

Donkey: Hey, what are you doing?

[Dragon lights a chandelier but doesn't see Shrek behind her]

Smolder: (seeing Shrek) Guys, look!

[Shrek grabs a chain from the roof holding the chandelier in place]

Yona: Yona wonder what Shrek doing.

Finn McMissile: I think he's pulling a risky move.

Donkey: Okay, okay. Let's just back up a little and take this one step at a time. I mean, we really should get to know each other first as friends or maybe as pen pals. 'Cause I'm on the road a lot, but I just love receiving cards, and-- we'd really love to stay, but--

[While Donkey is talking, Shrek swings on the chain just above Dragon's head as she fiddles with Donkey's tail using her muzzle]

Donkey: Hey, hey, hey! Don't do that! That's my tail! That's my personal tail! Are you gonna tear it off?

[Shrek sees the chain isn't long enough and sees the spool that turns it. Getting an idea, Shrek begins yanking on it]

Donkey: I don't give permission to-- (Dragon moves towards Donkey to kiss him) Hey, what are you gonna do with that? Hey, now. No way. No! No! No, no! No. No, no, no! No! Oh!

[Shrek gets the chain moving and just as Dragon's about to kiss Donkey, Shrek lands on him and the Irelanders, knocking them out of Dragon's tail coils and into the coins. Dragon kisses Shrek's bottom and when she opens her eyes, she sees Shrek and roars in anger]

Dragon: (roars)

[The chandelier falls from the roof and lands around Dragon's neck like a collar. Shrek jumps down from Dragon's tail and lands beside Donkey and the Irelanders and they run up the stairs away from Dragon]

Captain Jake: Let's go, mateys! Hurry!

[Dragon spots them as they run up the stairs. She breathes but they manage to avoid it. They jump down off a ledge and run towards Fiona, who Shrek grabs as he runs]

Donkey: Hi Princess!

Fiona: It talks!

Shrek: Yeah! It's the getting him to shut up that's the trick!

[He comes to a stop at the top of a ledge]

Donkey: Shrek! (screams)

[Seeing Dragon breathing fire again, Shrek and the Irelanders jump and slide down a rocky slide. Shrek sees a missing piece up ahead and bumps into it. He winces in pain as they reach the bottom. As Shrek, Donkey, Fiona and the other Irelanders run out, Ace, Crunch, Norm and Thud block Dragon's path]

Ace: Pick on someone your own size!

Crunch: (growls)

[They push against Dragon holding her back but she pushed them aside and ran after the others, roaring with fury]

Dragon: (roars)

[She chases the others as Ace, Norm, Crunch and Thud catch up to them leaving a trail of the chain behind her. They went down different parts of the hall until they went in front of Dragon who breathes fire at them, though they avoid it. Shrek skips over the chain that lays all over the hall]

Shrek: OK, you lot! Head for the exit!

[Donkey, Fiona and the Irelanders race toward the entrance]

Shrek: (picks up a sword) I'll take care of the dragon!

[Shrek puts the sword in the chain before running to catch up with the others. He runs towards the entrance, Dragon not too far behind him as the chase continues in slow motion]

Shrek: (in slow motion) RUN!!!!

[The scene reverts to normal speed as Dragon breathes fire at the heroes. They run onto the bridge as the flames touch it, burning and causing one side to collapse, forcing the heroes to hold on as they dangle over the lava]

Donkey: (screams)

[Shrek grabs Donkey by his tail just in time. Donkey screams as he sees Dragon making her way towards them through the flames. The chain breaks the sword which gets caught on a wall as Dragon tugs on it]

Fiona: (screams)

[Dragon attempts to fly over to them but the snagged chain holds her back, much to the heroes' relief]

Everyone: (sighing in relief)

[They climb up the bridge as Dragon watches from the other side, roaring in sadness]

Dragon: (roaring, whimpers)

[On the other side of the cliff, Fiona slides down a slope and runs forward smiling, happy to be free from her prison at last]

Fiona: You did it! You rescued me! You're amazing! You're wonderful! You're...

[The Irelanders, Donkey and Shrek bump into each other as they reach the bottom of the slope]

Fiona: A little unorthodox, I'll admit but (walks over to them as they get up) Thy deed is great and thine heart is pure. I am eternally in your debt.

Donkey: (clears his throat)

Fiona: And where would a brave knight be without his noble steed and an amazing group of squires?

Irelanders: Awww.

Donkey: Oh, alright, I hope you heard that. She called me a noble steed. She thinks I'm a steed.

[Fiona laughs as Shrek shakes his head]

Fiona: (laughs) The battle is won. You may remove your helmet, good sir knight.

Shrek: Uh, no.

Fiona: Why not?

Shrek: I... I have helmet hair.

[The Irelanders look at each other anxiously about how would Fiona react to the fact that Shrek is an ogre]

Fiona: Please. I wouldst look upon the face of my rescuer.

Shrek: Oh, no, you wouldn't-est.

Capper: Yeah, problem with that is you wouldn't like it if he does that.

Fiona: But how will he kiss me?

Shrek: What? (bumps into a rock) That wasn't in the job description.

Mushu: Maybe it's a perk.

Fiona: No, it's destiny. Oh, you must know how it goes. A princess locked in a tower and beset by a dragon is rescued by a brave knight and then they share true love's first kiss.

Donkey: Hmmm? With Shrek? You think... wait a minute, one second. You think that Shrek is your true love?

Fiona: Well, yes.

Shrek, Donkey and Irelanders: (laugh)

Donkey: You think that Shrek is your true love!

Fiona: What is so funny?

Shrek: Well, let's just say I'm not your type, okay?

Fiona: Of course you are. You're my rescuer. Now... now remove your helmet.

Shrek: Look, I really don't think this is a good idea.

Fiona: Just take off the helmet.

Shrek: I'm not going to.

Fiona: Take it off!

Shrek: No!

Fiona: NOW!

Shrek: Okay! Easy! As you command, your highness.

[Shrek removes his helmet and Fiona looks rather surprised then impressed. Shrek frowns then smiles]

Fiona: You... You're a... an ogre.

Shrek: Oh, you're expecting Prince Charming?

Fiona: Well, yes, actually... Oh, no. This is all wrong. You're not supposed to be an ogre! (walks off)

Manny: Oh, boy. Now they're acting like me and Ellie.

Ellie: You mean back when I thought I was a possum?

Manny: Exactly. (to Fiona) Princess, we were sent here to rescue you by Lord Farquaad, okay? He's the one that wants to marry you.

Fiona: Then why didn't he come rescue me?

Shrek: Good question. You should ask him that when we get there.

Fiona: But I have to be rescued by my true love. Not just some ogre and his pet and a bunch of weird characters.

Donkey: Well, so much for noble steed.

Discord: Well, that's annoyingly specific!

Raven Queen: Yeah, why does she think we're weird anyway?

Ashima: Maybe because she's never seen us before.

Connor Lacey: You're probably right.

Shrek: Look, Princess, you're not making my job any easier.

Fiona: Well, I'm sorry, but your job is not my problem. You can tell Lord Farquaad that if he wants to rescue me properly, I'll be waiting for him right here.

Shrek: Hey, I'm no one's messenger boy, alright? I'm a delivery boy.

Fiona: You wouldn't dare.

[Shrek picks Fiona up and walks away]

Fiona: Put me down!

Shrek: You coming, guys?

Donkey: Oh, yep. We're right behind you.

Fiona: Put me down or you will suffer the consequences! This is not dignified! Put me down! (screams)

[Later they walk through a forest]

Donkey: Okay, so here's another question. Say there's a woman that digs you right but you don't really like her that way. Now how do you let her down real easy so her feelings aren't hurt but you don't get burnt to a crisp and eaten. How do you do that?

Fiona: You just tell her she's not your true love. Everyone knowest what happens when you find your true... (Shrek jerks her) Hey! (sighs) The sooner we get to Duloc the better.

Shifter: Oh, yeah, you're gonna love it there, Fiona. It's beautiful.

Fiona: And what of my groom to be. Lord Farquaad. What's he like?

Shrek: Well, let me put it this way, princess. (drops Fiona and walks over to a lake) Men of Farquaad's stature are in short supply. (laughs)

Donkey: (laughs) Oh, no, Shrek. There are those that think little of him. (laughs with Shrek and the Irelanders)

Fiona: Stop it. Stop it all of you. You know, you're just jealous that you can never measure up to a great ruler like Lord Farquaad.

Aviva Corcovado: We're sorry, your majesty, we just find it amusing about his tiny figure. (snickers)

Shrek: Yeah. Well, maybe you're right, princess. But I'll let you do the measuring when you see him tomorrow.

Fiona: Tomorrow? (looks back at the sunset) It'll take that long? Shouldn't we stop to make camp?

Shrek: No. That'll take longer. We can keep going.

Fuli: Yeah. So quit yapping and let's get moving.

Fiona: But there's robbers in the woods!

Donkey: Whoa, time out, guys! Camp is definitely starting to sound good!

Chris Kratt: Yeah, perhaps you're right, Donkey.

Martin Kratt: We don't want any of our supplies getting taken from us while we're walking.

Shrek: Hey, come on, you two. I'm scarier than anything we're gonna see in this forest.

Fiona: (running in front of Shrek) I need to find somewhere to camp NOW!

[Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders exchange glances at each other, taken aback by Fiona's sudden shout. Later, Shrek pushes a large boulder away from a cave entrance]

Shrek: (grunting) Hey! Over here!

Donkey: Shrek. We can do better than that. Now, I don't think this is fit for a princess.

Sid: He's got a point. You know, maybe we should go for something more stylish. Something that matches her green dress maybe.

Maisie Lockwood: I don't know, Sid. We might need to find somewhere else to spend the night rather than a cave.

Fiona: (seeing how low the sun is in the sky) No, no, it's perfect. It just needs a few homey touches.

Shrek: Homey touches? Like what?

[Fiona takes some wood off a tree nearby]

Fiona: A door. (walks over to the cave and backs inside, using the wood as a door) Well, ladies and gentlemen, I bid thee good night.

Donkey: Do you want me to come in there and read you a bed time story? Cause I will.

Fiona: I said good night!

Iago: Sheesh. What's her problem?

Shira: I don't know, but whatever it is, I think it's best we just let her get some beauty sleep.

Connor Lacey: Shira's right, guys. It's getting late.

[Shrek begins to push the big rock to the entrance again]

Donkey: Shrek, what are you doing?

Shrek: (laughs) I just-- You know-- Oh, come on. I was just kidding.

Rarity: No wonder they say it's in his nature to be a bit of a brute.

Lightning McQueen: Man, to think he and Manny are alike.

Manny: Hey!

Dusty Crophopper: What? It's true.

Manny: Well, there's a difference between him and me. I was roaming the whole time and he lived in a swamp.

Elsa: Guys, can we save this for tomorrow?

Applejack: She's right, y'all. We need to gather some wood to make a fire for the night.

Russel Ferguson: You heard her. Let's get some wood and set up camp.

[That night, the heroes have made a fire and are now star gazing]

Shrek: And, uh, that one, that's Throwback, the only ogre to ever spit over three wheat fields.

Donkey: Right, yeah. Hey, can you tell my future from these stars?

Shrek: The stars don't tell the future, Donkey, they tell stories.

Twilight Sparkle: Like what, Shrek?

Shrek: Look, there's Bloodnut, the Flatulent. You can guess what he's famous for.

Donkey: Alright, now I know you're making this up.

Shrek: No. (points to some stars) Look, there he is and there's the group of hunters running away from his stench.

Koki: (at the stench bit) He must've smelt nearly as bad as you.

Ono: And like Bunga.

Bunga: Eh, I'm proud of it. I always thought that they're fireflies that got stuck on that sky.

Violet Parr: (remembering Timon say that a long time ago) Well, they aren't. Even though Ray the firefly did become a star after he got killed by Dr. Facilier.

Mewtwo: Yeah. I remember that. Perhaps Timon is right about it all along.

Donkey: Nah, they ain't nothing but a bunch of little dots.

Shrek: You know, guys, sometimes things are more than they appear. Hmmm? Forget it.

[They lay back on the ground. Donkey stretches]

Donkey: (sighs) Hey, Shrek. What are we gonna do when we get our swamp back anyways?

Shrek: Our swamp?

Donkey: You know, when we're through rescuing the princess and all that stuff.

Shrek: We? Donkey, there's no "we", there's no "our". There's just me and my swamp. And the first thing I'm gonna do is build a 10 foot wall around my land.

[Shrek turns on his side and Donkey and the others stand up]

Donkey: You cut us deep, Shrek. You cut us real deep just now.

Scoop: Why do you want to build a wall anyway?

Discord: Perhaps he's trying to keep someone out.

Shrek: No. You think? [turns on his side again]

Connor Lacey: Are you hiding something, Shrek?

Shrek: Never mind, Connor. [turns on his back]

Donkey: Oh, this is another one of those onion things isn't it?

Shrek: No. This is one of those drop it and leave it alone things!

Sid: Then why don't you wanna talk about it?

Shrek: Why do you all want to talk about it?

Fluttershy: So why are you blocking us?

Shrek: I'm not blocking.

Donkey: Oh, yes you are.

Shrek: Guys, I'm warning you.

Ellie: (in Gloria's voice) Would you just tell us? I mean, really, what could happen?

Shrek: Everyone! Okay?!

[Donkey and the Irelanders were silenced by this]

Donkey: Oh, now we're getting somewhere!

Shrek: Oh for the love of Pete!

[From inside the cave, Fiona, now an ogress watches from the shadows]

Twilight Sparkle: Hey, Shrek, just what is your problem with having guests? Why do you hate having us around?

Manny: Yeah, what have you got against the whole world anyway?

Shrek: Look, I'm not the one with the problem, okay? It's the world that seems to have a problem with me! People take one look at me and go "ARGH! HELP! RUN! A BIG STUPID UGLY OGRE!". (sighs) They judge me before they even know me. That's why I'm better off alone.

[Fiona looks down sadly before closing the door, careful not to alert the others. Donkey and the others walk over to Shrek and sit down beside him]

Donkey: You know? When we met, we didn't think you was just a big stupid ugly ogre.

Star Swirl the Bearded: Donkey's right. You've showed us that you're not what people have been known to believe you to be.

Chris Kratt: You're just misunderstood.

Martin Kratt: You're actually a nice fella once they get to know you.

Shrek: Yeah, I know.

Donkey: So, uh, are there any donkeys up there?

Shrek: Well, there's, uh, Gabby. The small. And annoying.

Donkey: Oh, yeah, I see it now. The big shiny one, right there. You know, that one there?

Shrek: That's the moon.

Donkey: Oh, okay.

[The heroes continue star gazing. Meanwhile, curtains blow in the breeze as we fade into Farquaad's castle in Duloc. We see his and Fiona wedding outfits and the mummy bear from before, laid down of the floor dead, being used as a rug. We then see Farquaad in bed, drinking while the Mirror plays some music]

Lord Farquaad: Again. Show me again.

[The mirror stops and rewinds the music]

Lord Farquaad: Mirror, Mirror, show her to me. Show me the princess.

Magic Mirror: Humph.

[He puts the music back on and shows a picture of Fiona to Farquaad]

Lord Farquaad: Ah. Perfect.

[He continues to look at the picture. The next day, Fiona, back in her human form, walks out of the cave and looks at the sun. She looks at Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders who are fast asleep before walking off into the woods. In the woods, Fiona dances up to a bird in a tree]

Fiona: [vocalizing]

Bird: [whistling]

Fiona: [vocalizing]

Bird: [whistling]

Fiona: [vocalizing]

Bird: [whistling]

Fiona and Bird: [vocalizing and whistling]

Fiona: [vocalizes so loud the bird can barely keep up]

[The bird puffs up like a balloon and explodes, causing Fiona to cringe. She looks to see the bird's legs remaining on the tree branch. Timon pauses the adventure with the remote]

Timon: Good thing Fluttershy wasn't awake to see that. Otherwise, she'II burst into tears by that.

Pumbaa: Well, you know Fluttershy. Always the animal lover.

Timon: Yeah. Let's continue before she sees this.

[He unpauses the adventure. Fiona sees three bird eggs sitting in the bird's nest. Later, she sizzles them over a small fire. Shrek wakes up, stretches, sits up and looks at her]

Donkey: [in his sleep] Mmm, yeah, you know I like it like that. Come on, baby. I said I like it.

Shrek: [shakes him awake] Guys, wake up!

Donkey: [wakes up] What? What?

Shrek: Wake up.

Donkey: What?

Irelanders: [yawning]

Sid: Hey, rise and shine, everybody.

Fiona: Morning. How do you like your eggs?

Donkey: Oh, good morning, princess.

Connor Lacey: Where did you even find those eggs?

Fiona: I found them in the woods.

Koki: I hope those aren't from a bird's nest.

Fiona: Oh, no. No, no. Not at all. You see, the reason for me doing this is because, well, Shrek and I got off to a bad start yesterday and I wanted to make it up to him. I mean, after all, he did rescue me.

Diego: Well, thanks. I guess.

Bob: That's very kind of you, Fiona. Mmm. They smell good.

Helen Parr/Elastigirl: Well, we'd better chow down while there's still time.

Fiona: Helen's right. We've got a big day ahead of us.

[Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders look at each other. Later, they walk through the woods together as Shrek belches]

Shrek: [burps]

Donkey: Shrek!

Stephen: Oh! Pardon you!

Shrek: What? It's a compliment. Better out than in, I always say. (chuckles)

Rarity: Well, it is no way to behave in front of royalty.

Fiona: [burps] Thanks.

Captain Jake: Wow! She's just as nasty as Shrek is.

Jimmy Z: You know, Fiona, you're not exactly what we'd expected.

Fiona: Well, maybe you shouldn't judge people before you get to know them.

[Shrek and the Irelanders got confused by how she knew that as she carries on, vocalizing. Just then, a man, Monsieur Hood, swings by on a rope and scoops Fiona up, much to their shock]

Hiro: Fiona!

[Monsieur Hood lands on a tree branch and puts Fiona down]

Fiona: Hey, what are you doing?

Monsieur Hood: Be still, mon cherie, for I am you savior! And I am rescuing you from this green...(kisses up her arm while Fiona pulls back in disgust)...beast.

Fiona: Ugh!

Shrek: Hey! (running up with Donkey) That's our princess!

Connor (Thomas and Friends): Yeah! Go find your own!

Monsieur Hood: Please, monster and friends! Can't you all see I'm a little busy here?!

Fiona: Look, pal, I don't know who you think you are!

Monsieur Hood: Oh! Of course! Oh, how rude. Tra-la-la. Please, let me introduce myself. Oh, Merry Men! (laughs)

[Bushes run back and forth while a man places an accordion. Five men jump out from behind the bushes]

Merry Man: Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta~

Monsieur Hood: I steal from the rich~

And give to the needy~

Merry Man: He takes a wee percentage~

Monsieur Hood: But I am not greedy~

I rescue pretty damsels~

Man, I am good~

Merry Men: What a guy, Monsieur Hood!~

Monsieur Hood: Break it down~

[Monsieur Hood and his man break dance]

Monsieur Hood: I like an honest fight and a saucy little maid~

Merry Men: What he's basically saying is he likes to get...~

Monsieur Hood: Paid~

Merry Men: So~

Monsieur Hood: When an ogre in the bush grabs a lady by the tush~

That's bad~

Merry Men: That's bad, that's bad, that's bad~

Monsieur Hood: When a beauty's with a beast it makes me awfully mad~

Merry Men: He's mad, he's really, really mad~

Monsieur Hood: I'll take my blade and ram it through your heart, keep your eyes on me, boys 'cause I'm about to start...~

[Fiona kicks Monsieur Hood, knocking him out]

Fiona: Ye-yah!

[She jumps through the air and lands on the ground, much to the Merry Men, Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders' surprise]

Fiona: (panting) Man, that was annoying!

Merry Man: Oh, you little...!

[He shoots an arrow at her but she dodges out of the way. Donkey leaps into Shrek's arms to avoid the arrow as it hit a tree. Fiona uses her karate skills to take out the Merry Man, along with her ponytail. As two men advanced on her from both sides, she jumps up and the picture pause and spins around before Fiona kicks them. Friar Tuck plays his accordion as he chases Fiona who runs up a tree trunk and leaps over him before punching him through his accordion. A Merry Man tries to attack Fiona but she kicks by her feet. Soon, all of the Merry Men are all knocked out. Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders are surprised by Fiona's karate skills]

Fiona: [chuckles] Um, shall we? (walks off)

Shrek: Hold the phone. (drops Donkey)

Donkey: Oof!

[Shrek and the others hurry in front of Fiona]

Shrek: Whoa, whoa, hold on, now. Where did that come from?

Fiona: What?

Shrek: That! Back there, that was amazing!

Rainbow Dash: More like totally awesome! Where did you learn that? Can you teach me some of those moves?

Fiona: Well, when one lives alone, one has to learn these things in case there's a... [gasps seeing an arrow in Shrek's bottom] There's an arrow in your butt!

Shrek: What? [looking at the arrow] Oh, would you look at that?

Irelanders: (gasp)

Wendy: So that's where that arrow went.

Buck: He must've got shot in the butt while no one was looking.

Fiona: Oh, no. This is all my fault. I'm so sorry.

Donkey: Why? What's wrong?

Fiona: Shrek's hurt.

Donkey: Shrek's hurt? Shrek's hurt? Oh, no! Shrek's gonna die!

Shrek: Donkey, I'm okay.

Donkey: Oh, you can't do this to me, Shrek! I'm too young for you to die! Keep your legs elevated! Turn your head and cough! Does anyone know the Heimlich?!

Heidi: Shrek's not dying yet, Donkey!

Fiona: Yeah! Calm down! If you want to help Shrek, run off into the woods and find me a blue flower with red thorns!

Donkey: Blue flower, red thorns! Okay, I'm on it! Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns! Don't die, Shrek! And if you see a long tunnel, stay away from the light!

Shrek, Fiona and Irelanders: DONKEY!

Donkey: Oh, yeah! Right! (runs off) Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns!

Shrek: What are the flowers for?

Fiona: For getting rid of Donkey.

Shrek: Ah.

Chug: Right. [stretching his nozzle towards the arrow] Now, you hold still and we'll yank this thing out. [yanks on the arrow with his nozzle]

Shrek: Ow! Hey! Easy with the yanking!

Fiona: Well, we're sorry but it has to come out! Now... Now let us...

Shrek: No, no, it's tender! Would... would you all...? What you're all doing is the opposite of help!

Fiona: Hold on! Don't move!

Shrek: Okay, look! Look! [grabbing Fiona's face] Time out!

Fiona: Would you...? [pushes Shrek's hand] Ugh! Okay. What do you propose we do?

[Meanwhile, Donkey walks through the woods surrounded by blue flowers with red thorns all around]

Donkey: Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns! This would be so much easier if I wasn't colorblind! Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns!

Shrek: OW!

Donkey: Hold on, Shrek! I'm coming! [grabs one and runs off back to the others]

Shrek: Ow! Not good!

Fiona: Okay! No, okay. We can nearly see the head. Just about...

[Shrek flips onto his back and he, Fiona and the others stare at each other]

Donkey: [clears his throat]

Shrek: Nothing happened. We were just, uh...

Donkey: Look, if you wanted to be alone, all you had to do is ask, okay?

Shrek: Oh, come on. That's the last thing on my mind. The princess and our friends here were just...

[Lofty yanks the arrow out of Shrek causing him to groan in pain. Lofty waggles the arrow in front of him]

Shrek: [silently] Ow.

Mewtwo: Well, at least that's taken care of.

Donkey: Hey, what's that? (nervous chuckle) That's-- Is that blood? (sighs)

[Donkey faints on the ground, much to Fluttershy's shock]

Fluttershy: Oh, my goodness.

Crash: Is he okay?

Eddie: I don't know. Maybe he's playing dead.

Mater: He looks like he just fainted to me.

Frozone/Lucius Best: Well, someone better carry him while we continue back to Duloc.

Shrek: I'll do it.

Kion: Thanks, Shrek. Let's move.

[Shrek picks up Donkey and carries him as the heroes head on. The song My Beloved Monster plays in the background as Shrek bends a tree over a river creating a bridge for the others to cross over on. Fiona pats Shrek's back as she reaches the other side with the others and Shrek stands up, causing the tree to fling back up and send Donkey flying. Donkey lands on the ground and shakes off the dizziness. Later, the heroes walk together as Shrek swats at some flies buzzing around him. Fiona, spotting a spider web, gets an idea and takes it off a tree. She then uses it to catch the flies and twirls it into a candyfloss shape before handing it to Shrek. Shrek eats it as he walks on. Later, Shrek grabs a toad and blows into it, inflating it like a balloon and attaching a string to it. A snake hisses behind Fiona but she grabs it, blows into it and shapes it into a balloon animal. She hands it to Shrek, who hands her the frog balloon and they walk off. They playfully push each other before Shrek shoves Fiona into a bush before running off with her and the heroes hot on his tail. The frog and snake balloons float into the air. Soon, the heroes are standing on the hill overlooking Duloc]

Shrek: There it is, princess. Your future awaits you.

Fiona: That's Duloc?

Donkey: Yeah, I know. You know, Shrek thinks that Lord Farquaad is compensating for something which I think means he has a really... [Shrek steps on Donkey knocking him down] Ow!

Shrek: Yeah. I, uh... I guess we better move on.

Fiona: Sure, but Shrek.... I'm, I'm worried about Donkey.

Shrek: What?

Zoe Trent: I don't see anything wrong with him.

Fiona: But there is, Zoe. I mean, look at him. You know, he doesn't look so good.

Donkey: What are you talking about? I'm fine.

Fiona: Well, that's what they always say. And then the next thing you know, you're on your back. [Donkey gives her a blank stare] Dead.

Fluttershy: D-d-dead?

Shrek: You know, she's right. You look awful. Do you want to sit down?

Fiona: You know, I'll make you some tea.

Donkey: Well, I ain't gonna say nothing but I've got this twinge in my neck and when I turn my head like this, look. [he titles his head sideways and his neck cracks] Ow! See?

Clara: Oh, you poor thing.

Shrek: Who's hungry? I'll find us some dinner.

Fiona: I'll get the firewood.

Donkey: Hey, where are you going? [moves his head back upright] Oh, man, I can't feel my toes! [looks down at his hooves] I don't have any toes! [sits down] I think I need a hug.

[Later, Fiona sits on a log eating a roasted weed rat on a stick whilst Shrek roasts two more over the fire]

Fiona: Mmm. This is good. This is really good. What is this?

Shrek: A weed rat. Rotisserie style.

Fiona: No kidding. Well, this is delicious.

Koki: Shrek, though it is a good dinner, it's wrong to cook animals.

Shrek: Well, that's what I eat, Koki. Besides, they're also great in stews. Now, I don't mean to brag but I make a mean weedrat stew.

Connor Lacey: I'll believe that when I see it.

Twilight Sparkle: We'II stick to our choice of food thank you.

Bunga: At least he also likes to eat bugs like.

Jiminy Cricket: I was afraid of that since I'm a bug.

Violet Parr: Well, Shrek's eating the weed rat now so you're safe, Jiminy.

Jiminy Cricket: Good.

[Fiona chuckles, wipes her mouth and looks toward Duloc. Donkey is eating some grass nearby]

Fiona: (sighs) I guess I'll be dining a little differently tomorrow night.

Sunset Shimmer: Yeah. After you marry Farquaad.

Shrek: Maybe you can come visit me in the swamp sometime. I'll cook all kinds of stuff for you. Swamp toad soup, fish eye tartar, you name it.

Fiona: [chuckles] I'd like that.

Kim Possible: Those are way so gross.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng: Tell me about it.

Shrek: (slurps and chuckles)

[Fiona looks at him smiling. Shrek then suddenly looks lost for words]

Shrek: Um, Princess?

Fiona: Yes, Shrek?

Shrek: I, um, I was wondering. Are you... [struggles to find the right words and sighs] Are you gonna eat that?

[Fiona takes the uneaten weed rat off the stick and hands it to Shrek who takes it in his hand. They smile at each other and move toward each other as if to kiss when Donkey pops up between them]

Donkey: Man, isn't this romantic? Just look at that sunset.

Fiona: Sunset? Oh, no! I mean, it's late! It's very late!

Shrek: What?

Brooke: It's not that late.

Donkey: Wait a minute. I see what's going on here. You're afraid of the dark, aren't you?

Fiona: Yes. Yes. That's it. I'm terrified. You know, I'd better go inside.

Boots: That's right, cause it will be cold when the sun goes down.

Donkey: Don't feel bad, Princess. I used to be afraid of the dark, too, until-- Hey, no, wait. I'm still afraid of the dark.

Applejack: Well, that was quite unexpected.

Fiona: Good night.

Shrek: Good night.

[Fiona looks at them one more before heading into the old disused windmill]

Donkey: Oh, now I really see what's going on here.

Shrek: Oh, what are you talking about?

Donkey: I don't even wanna hear it. Look, I'm an animal, and I got instincts. I know you two were diggin' in each other. I could feel it.

Manny: Oh, I know what he's got. The L word.

Sid: Yeah, leprosy.

Rainbow Dash: No, Sid. It's four letters. Starts with L, ends with E.

Sid: Aha! Lice.

Manny: No! Shrek, my friend, is in love.

Sid: Oh, yeah! Love.

Shrek: Oh, you're just crazy. I'm just bring her back to Farquaad.

Connor Lacey: Oh, no, Shrek. We're not crazy.

Sid: Yeah. Fiona's gotten under your skin. Come on. Admit it.

Heidi: A foul smelling creature like you...

Discord: A more foul smelling creature like her.

Donkey: Yeah, come on, Shrek. Wake up and smell the pheromones. Just go on in and tell her how you feel.

Shrek: I-- There's nothing to tell. Besides, even if I did tell her that, well, you know-- and I'm not sayin' I do 'cause I don't-- she's a princess, and I'm--

Diego: Let me guess. An ogre?

Shrek: Yeah. An ogre. [walks away]

Donkey: Hey, where are you going?

Shrek: To get... [sighs] More firewood.

[Donkey and the Irelanders look to see more firewood piled by the fire already. Meanwhile, Shrek sits on the hill and looks towards Duloc as day turns to night. Later, Donkey and the Irelanders head into the windmill to check on Fiona but she's not there]

Donkey: Princess! Princess Fiona?

Clara: That's odd. I could've sworn she'd be in here.

Buck: Split up. Search the perimeter. She could be anywhere in this windmill.

Kim Possible: You heard the weasel. Come on.

Donkey: Princess, where are you?

[There's a fluttering noise and everyone looks to sees bats fly up through the shattered roof to the rafters]

Fluttershy: Aw, look at those bats.

Koki: They must've took refuge here after the owners of the windmill left it.

Leo: Yeah. Besides, it's old and broken. It's not been used in a long time.

Connor Lacey: Let's keep looking for Fiona.

Donkey: Princess?

[As they keep looking, Fiona, in her ogress form, moves around in the shadows above them]

Donkey: (gasps)

Dash Parr: What was that?

Sunset Shimmer: Beats me. Maybe it was just the wind?

Iago: Well, whatever it was, it sounds scary.

Mushu: I know right?

Cri-Kee: (chitters)

Donkey: It's very spooky in here. We ain't playing no games.

[Fiona looks at them from behind a wall and attempts to walk behind them but the floor beneath her breaks and she falls into some sacks, creating a cloud of smoke. Donkey and the Irelanders look in her direction in fear as she gets up, her body silhouetted in light]

Donkey and Irelanders: Aah!

Fiona: No!

Donkey: No! Help!

Fiona: Ssh!

Donkey: Shrek! Shrek! Shrek!

Fiona: No, it's okay! It's okay!

Scoop: What have you done with the princess?!

Fiona: Scoop, I'm the princess!

Donkey: Aah!

Fiona: It's me, in this body.

Donkey: Oh my Gosh! You ate the princess!

Bob: [to Fiona's stomach] Can you hear us?!

Fiona: Bob!

Donkey: Listen, keep breathing! We'll get you outta there! Shrek! Shrek! [Fiona covers his mouth] Shrek! Shrek!

Fiona: Sssh! This is me!

Donkey: (muffled mumbling)

[Then everyone looks at Fiona, who smiles, and then realize that it really is her]

Connor Lacey: Fiona. It is you.

Donkey: Princess? What happened to you? You're, uh...uh, different.

Fiona: I'm ugly! OK.

Mushu: Well, yeah. Well, was it something that you ate? Cause we told Shrek that those rats was a bad idea. "You are what you eat." we said, now...

Fiona: No. I, I've been this way for as long as I can remember.

Applejack: What are you talkin' about, sugar cube? We ain't never seen you like this before.

Fiona: It only happens when the sun goes down. [looking at her reflection in a barrel filled with water] By night one way, by day another. This shalt be the norm. Until you find true love's first kiss. And then take love's true form.

Thorn: Aw that's a lovely poem, Fiona.

Fiona: It's a spell, Thorn! [sighs] When I was a little girl, a witch cast a spell on me. Every night, I become this. [looking her reflection and splashing the water with her hand] This horrible, ugly beast!

Dusk: Well, that explains why you're so anxious about finding a place to sleep.

Luna: So that we wouldn't discover your secret.

Shira: I'm sorry that you look like this every night, Fiona.

Fiona: [sighs] That's not the point, Shira. I was placed in a tower to await the day my true love would rescue me. [sits down on a wooden wheel] That's why I have to marry Lord Farquaad tomorrow before the sun sets and he sees me. [sniffs] Like this. [sobbing]

Maisie Lockwood: Aw, don't cry, Fiona.

Discord: It's not that bad. You're not that ugly. Wait, what I mean is, you are ugly now. But you only look like this at night time and Shrek, boy, he's ugly 24/7.

Fiona: But Discord, I'm a princess and this is not how a princess is meant to look.

Donkey: Princess, how about if you don't marry Farquaad?

Sid: Donkey's right. You could marry someone else.

Fiona: I have to. Only my true love's kiss can break the spell.

Donkey: But, you know, um... You're kind of an ogre and Shrek, well, you've got a lot in common.

Fiona: Shrek?

[At that moment, Shrek is walking towards the windmill carrying a sunflower, indicating he is going to tell Fiona about his feelings for her]

Shrek: Princess, uh, how's it going, first of all? Good? Um, good for me too. I'm okay. I saw this flower and thought of you because it's pretty and - - well, I don't really like it, but I thought you might like it 'cause you're pretty. But I like you anyway. I'd - - uh, uh...(sighs) I'm in trouble. Okay, here we go.

[He walks up the steps to the door but then hears Fiona inside talking to Donkey and the Irelanders]

Fiona: I can't just marry whoever I want. Take a good look at me, guys. I mean, really, who could ever love a beast so hideous and ugly? "Princess" and "ugly" don't go together. That's why I can't stay here with Shrek. My only chance to live happily ever after is to marry my true love. Don't you see, guys? That's just how it has to be.

[Shrek looks hurt by Fiona's words, believing she is talking about him and leaves. Inside]

Fiona: It's the only way to break the spell.

Caitlin: We see, Fiona. But you at least have to let Shrek know about this.

Fiona: No, no. You can't breathe a word. No one must ever know.

Donkey: What's the point of being able to talk if you gotta keep secrets?

Elsa: Besides, you can't keep your curse a secret forever you know. I've had the experience so I know what it feels like.

Starlight Glimmer: Like with your ice powers?

Elsa: Yes, Starlight.

Fiona: Promise me you won't tell. Promise!

Donkey: Alright, alright, we won't tell him. But you should.

[Donkey and the Irelanders head back outside]

Donkey: I just know before this is over, I'm gonna need a whole lot of serious therapy. Look at my eye twitching.

[Fiona opens the door and saw the sunflower that Shrek has left behind on the ground. She picks it up, look around then went back inside the windmill]

Paxton: Well, we might as well get some sleep now, guys.

Ace: He's right. It's getting late.

Sid: Yeah. Tomorrow's the day that Fiona said she was going to marry Farquaad and remove her curse. (snores as he went to sleep)

Connor Lacey: Good night, everyone.

Irelanders: Night, Connor.

[The Irelanders fall asleep along with Donkey. Later, Fiona is picking petals off the sunflower to decide where or not she will tell Shrek about her secret]

Fiona: I tell him, I tell him not, I tell him, I tell him not. (finally comes to a decision when picking the last petal) I'll tell him. (She went outside to tell Shrek her secret but he's not there) Shrek! Shrek? There's something I want....

[Then Fiona looks to see the sun rising over the horizon and transforms back into her human form in a flash of golden light. She saw Shrek walking up the hill towards her and went down the steps to meet with him]

Fiona: Shrek. Are you all right?

Shrek: Perfect! Never been better.

Fiona: I-- I don't-- There's something I have to tell you.

Shrek: You don't have to tell me anything, Princess. I heard enough last night.

Fiona: You heard what I said?

Shrek: Every word.

Fiona: I thought you'd understand.

Shrek: Oh, I understand. Like you said, "Who could love a hideous, ugly beast?"

Fiona: But I thought that wouldn't matter to you.

Shrek: Yeah? Well, it does.

[Fiona gasps and sighs by this. Shrek looks to see something coming]

Shrek: Ah, right on time. Princess, I've brought you a little something.

[Fiona look to see Lord Farquaad on a horse and the guards following him. One is blowing a trumpet, which wakes Donkey and the Irelanders up]

Donkey: [yawns] What'd I miss? What'd I miss? [muffled] Who said that? Couldn't have been a donkey.

Connor Lacey: Well, well, well, look who it is.

Blythe Baxter: The same Lord Farquaad who tried to get us killed.

Mewtwo: We'd better see what's going on.

[Lord Farquaad stops next to Fiona]

Lord Farquaad: Princess Fiona.

Shrek: As promised. Now hand it over.

Lord Farquaad: Very well, ogre. The deed to your swamp, cleared out, as agreed. Take it and go before I change my mind. Forgive me, Princess, for startling you, but you startled me, for I have ever seen such a radiant beauty before. I am Lord Farquaad.

Fiona: Lord Farquaad? Oh, no, no.

[One of Farquaad's guards puts him on the ground]

Fiona: Forgive me, my lord, for I was just saying, a short....(pause as the guard puts Farquaad down to the ground and she saw that he really is smaller than she'd expected) farewell.

Discord: (appearing on Fiona's shoulder small and whispering so that Farquaad doesn't hear) Now you know what Shrek and Donkey means by their small jokes. Because of... (he gestures to Farquaad) his size.

Lord Farquaad: That's so sweet. You don't have to waste good manners on the ogre. It's not like it has feelings.

Fiona: No, you're right. It doesn't.

[The Irelanders look shocked by this]

Lord Farquaad: Princess Fiona, beautiful, fair, flawless Fiona. I ask your hand in marriage.

Fiona: Aaah!

Lord Farquaad: Will you be the perfect bride for the perfect groom?

[Fiona looks at Shrek who looks away sadly and crossly at his scroll which makes her frown]

Fiona: Lord Farquaad, I accept. Nothing would make....

Lord Farquaad: Excellent! I'll start the plans, for tomorrow we wed!

Fiona: No! I mean, uh, why wait? Let's get married today before the sun sets.

[Shrek walks away from them]

Lord Farquaad: Oh, anxious, are we? You're right. The sooner, the better. There's so much to do! There's the caterer, the cake, the band, the guest list. Captain, round up some guests!

[Farquaad is put back on his horse along with Fiona as they start to leave]

Fiona: Fare-thee-well, ogre.

Donkey: Shrek, what are you doing? You're letting her get away.

Shrek: Yeah? So what?

Connor Lacey: Shrek, there's something about Fiona that you don't know.

Ashima: Look, we talked to her last night. She's...

Shrek: Yeah, I know you all talked to her last night, Ashima! You're great pals aren't ya?! Now if you lot are such good friends why don't you follow her home?!

Donkey: But, Shrek, we wanna go with you.

Sandbar: Yeah. As much as a friend Fiona is, you're a greater friend to hang out with.

Shrek: I told you, didn't I? You're not coming home with me. I live alone! My swamp! Me! Nobody else! Understand? Nobody! Especially useless, pathetic, annoying, good-hearted heroes and talking donkeys!

[Donkey and the Irelanders got hurt by Shrek's words]

Donkey: But I thought....

Shrek: Yeah, well you know what?! You thought wrong!

[Shrek walks away leaving the Irelanders and Donkey very upset]

Donkey: Shrek?

[As the song Hallelujah starts playing in the background, Shrek returns to his now fairytale creature free swamp and look at the area around his tree stump house which is now cleared out. With a sad sigh, he walks over to his home. Donkey and the Irelanders walk through the woods with their heads hung low with sadness. Shrek looks around his swamp til he step on the pieces of the shattered mirror on the ground and look at them sadly. At the same time, Fiona looks at the jewels on the ceiling as she tries her wedding dress on then look out of the window in sadness. Shrek does the same, rubbing his hands. He then turns to his chair and picks it up. He then spots some sunflowers like the one he was going to give to Fiona on the table and picks one up before frowning and throwing it into the flames of the newly lit fire. Fiona is looking at herself in the mirror back in the castle. Sadly, she lifts her veil in front of her face. Elsewhere in the castle, Lord Farquaad is trying on his new crown while the Mirror stares at him sadly. Thelonius gives a thumbs up and Farquaad turns to the Mirror, who forces a smile. Fiona looks at her and Farquaad's wedding cake which has her and a much taller version of Farquaad standing on it. Sadly looking down, she pushes the Farquaad figurine down further into the cake to shorten the height before looking behind her at a suit of armor which has a helmet similar to the one Shrek wore when he rescued her. Shrek looks sadly into the fire as he leans back on his table. Donkey is drinking from a river when he and the Irelanders hear someone crying. They look to their left and see Dragon sitting nearby, the chandelier collar still around her neck. She wipes a tear with her paw. Feeling sorry for Dragon and realizing that she really is good after all, Donkey and the Irelanders go over to her and she smiles at them as Maisie wipes Dragon's tears with a tissue. Shrek sits alone at the table fiddling with a bowl of worms. Fiona sits alone at a table in the castle. She throws her cutlery on the table and buries her face in her hands. Shrek again sits alone at the table sadly as the song ends. Suddenly, he hears a thud outside and looks up. He goes outside to find...]

Shrek: Donkey? Guys?

[There they are building something across the swamp]

Shrek: What are you doing?

Donkey: We would think of all people you would recognize a wall when you see one.

Shrek: Well, yeah, but the wall's supposed to go around my swamp. Not through it.

Scoop: It is. Around your half, see? That's your half and this is our half.

Shrek: Oh. Your half, Scoop. Hmm.

Donkey: Yes. Our half. We helped rescue the princess, we did half the work, we get half the booty. Now hand us that big old rock. The one that looks like your head.

[Shrek moves on the logs before picking up a stick which Donkey headbutts]

Shrek: Back off!

Donkey: No! You back off!

Shrek: This is my swamp!

Donkey: Our swamp!

Shrek: Let go, Donkey!

Donkey: You let go!

Shrek: Stubborn mule!

Donkey: Smelly ogre!

Shrek: Fine!

[Shrek lets go of the stick and walks off, causing Donkey to fall to the ground. Donkey shakes off the dizziness and gets up]

Donkey: Hey, hey, hey! Come back here! We're not through with you yet!

Shrek: Well, I'm through with you! With all of you!

Donkey: Nu-uh! You know with you, it's always "Me, me, me."! Well, guess what?! Now, it's our turn! So you just shut up and pay attention!

Mushu: You are mean to us! You insult us and you don't appreciate anything that we do! You're always pushing us around or pushing us away!

Manny: Yeah, just goes to show that you and I really do have a lot in common! You are so stubborn and hardheaded!

Gallus: Not to mention that we tried to make friends with you but you keep rejecting it, just like us when we first came to Twilight's school as if we didn't matter at all.

Shrek: Oh, yeah?! Well, if I treated you all so bad, how come you came back?!

Donkey: Because that's what friends do! They forgive each other!

Manny: And because I'II pummel you if you don't!

Shrek: Oh, yeah. Yeah. You're right, guys. I forgive you. For stabbing me in the back! [walks into the outhouse slamming the door behind him]

Donkey: [groans in annoyance] You're so wrapped up in layers, onion boy! You're afraid of your own feelings!

Shrek: Go away!

Connor Lacey: You know what, Shrek?! I'm sick and tired of your attitude!

Twilight Sparkle: Yes, you've been trying to get rid of us ever since we met!

Kion: We weren't scared of you when we first met you and this is how you repay that?!

Chris Kratt: And you're trying to get us to leave you alone just like you did to Fiona! And all she ever did was like you!

Diego: Yeah! Who knows?! Maybe she even loved you!

Shrek: Love me?! She said I was ugly! A hideous creature! I heard the lot of you talking!

[In Duloc, Hawk Moth senses Shrek's negative emotions]

Hawk Moth: Ah, the ogre is expressing negative emotions so powerful, I cannot withstand using it to my advantage.

[An akuma lands on his hand and he fills it with dark energy before releasing it]

Hawk Moth: Fly away, my evil akuma! And evilize him!

[The akuma flies away from Duloc. Back in the swamp]

Donkey: She wasn't talking about you! She was talking about, uh... [remembering his and the Irelanders' promise to Fiona] somebody else!

[Shrek comes out of the outhouse upon hearing this]

Shrek: She wasn't talking about me? Well, then who was she talking about?

Discord: I suppose we could, but after all the hoof pointing and besmirching of our good names, I just don't know if we're up to it.

Donkey: Discord is right. Nu-uh. No way. We ain't saying anything. You don't wanna listen to us, right? Right?

Shrek: Guys.

Donkey: No!

Aisling: There's no point in talking to someone who doesn't even want to listen!

Shrek: Okay, look. I'm sorry, alright?

Donkey: Hmph.

[Everyone turns their backs to Shrek. Up above, the akuma spots it's prey and flies down. Shrek sighs]

Shrek: [sighs] I'm sorry. I guess I am just a big stupid ugly ogre. Can you forgive me?

[The akuma stops. Everyone, even Donkey, turns to Shrek smiling]

Donkey: Hey, that's what friends are for, right?

Shrek: Right. [kneels down holding out his hand] Friends?

Donkey: [shakes Shrek's hand] Friends.

[Shrek stands up]

Twilight Sparkle: I think you've just learnt a valuable friendship lesson, Shrek.

Shrek: And what's that?

Twilight Sparkle: You've learnt that you should always have company and not be alone all the time.

Manny: I learned that too.

Shrek: Oh, right. I see. So, um, what did Fiona say about me?

Donkey: Well, what are you asking us for? Why don't you just go ask her?

Shrek: [gasps] The wedding! We'll never make it in time!

Sunset Shimmer: He's right. Duloc is a long way from here. It'll take ages to get there on foot.

Donkey: Ha, ha, ha! Never fear! For where there's a will, there's a way and we have a way. [to Hiro] Take it away, Hiro.

[Hiro blows his whistle. Shrek looks up and Dragon flies into view causing the akuma to flee and hide]

Shrek: Guys?

Donkey: [chuckles] I guess it's just my animal magnetism.

Smolder: Turns out that she's real friendly once you get to know her.

Buck: While falling in love with Donkey that is.

Shrek: [laughs and rubs Donkey on the head] Oh, come here you.

Donkey: Alright, alright, don't get all slobbery. No one likes a kissass.

Jimmy Z: We better get on board the Tortuga as well.

Merlin: You're quite right, Jimmy. We can't all fit on Dragon.

Maisie Lockwood: Some of us will go with Dragon. The rest go in the Tortuga.

Connor Lacey: Right. Let's go.

Donkey: All right, hop on and hold on tight. I haven't had a chance to install the seat belts yet.

Shrek: (laughing)

[Shrek, Donkey and the Irelanders get on Dragon and into the Tortuga and take off. They fly through clouds]

Donkey: (laughing) Whoo!

[Dragon flew on towards Duloc. At the same time, Hawk Moth lost Shrek's negative emotions]

Hawk Moth: Well, the ogre's no longer expressing negativity but that doesn't mean I will be able to akumatize someone else. Follow them, my little akuma. But stay out of sight.

[The akuma obeys and flies off after them. The scene changes to the church in Duloc, where the wedding has just started]

Crowd: Oooh. Aaaah.

Archdeacon: People of Duloc, we're gathered here today to bear witness to the union of our new king...

Fiona: Uh, excuse me, um, can we just skip ahead to the I Dos?

Lord Farquaad: [laughs] Go on.

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: All is going according to plan.

Ronno: You said it, your ladyship.

Ratcliffe: Once Farquaad has married Fiona and becomes king, we will finally get our revenge on those traitors once and for all.

Reirei: Indeed, Ratcliffe. Scar will be so pleased with this achievement.

Janja: Yeah, especially once we'II help him take over the Pride Lands for good. (chuckles)

Tirek: And we will finally conquer Equestria for real and every pegasus, unicorn and earth pony will bow to our will with us absorbing all the love and magic they have.

Queen Chrysalis: I quite agree, Tirek. That Starlight Glimmer will regret the day she messed with me!

Cozy Glow: And those stupid creatures will regret foiling us twice.

The Storm King: And I will finally show them all why I'm called the Storm King.

Hawk Moth: And I will finally have Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous.

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: This is just too good to be true.

[The song This Day Aria reprise starts playing as they watched the wedding continues]

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: This day has been just perfect~

Reirei: The kind of day of which we dreamed since we were small~

Donita Donata: Everybody, we'll soon control~

Paisley Paver: Farquaad soon will be king~

Queen Chrysalis: Who says a king can't really have it all?~ (evil laughs)

[Outside, Dragon and the Tortuga land outside and the knights surrounding the area run at the first glimpse of Dragon]

Donkey: Go ahead, have some fun. If we need you, I'll whistle. How about that?

[Dragon nods and runs off after the knights as Donkey and the others hurry after Shrek]

Donkey: Shrek, wait, wait! Wait a minute! Look, you wanna do this right, don't you?

Shrek: What are you talking about?

Donkey: There's a line! There's a line you've gotta wait for!

Capper: Yeah, the priest is gonna say "Speak now or forever hold your peace.".

Sid: And that's when you say "I object!".

Shrek: Oh, I don't have time for this!

Donkey: Wait. What are you doing? Listen to us! Look, you love this woman, don't you?

Shrek: Yes.

Donkey: You wanna hold her?

Shrek: Yes.

Donkey: Please her?

Shrek: Yes!

Donkey: [singing] Then you've got to, got to, try a little tenderness!~ [speaking] The chicks love that romantic crack.

Shrek: Alright! Cut it out! When does this guy say the line?!

Donkey: We gotta check it out.

[Inside, the priest is about pronounce Fiona and Farquaad husband and wife. Donkey is seen jumping up and down outside the window to see what's going on]

Archdeacon: And so by the power vested in me....

Shrek: What do you see?

Donkey: The whole town's in there!

[Ace tosses Donkey into the air]

Archdeacon: I now pronounce you.....

Donkey: They're in the altar.

[Ace chucks him in the air again]

Priest:...king and queen.

Donkey: (gasps) Mother Fletcher! He already said it!

Shrek: Oh, for the love of Pete!

Donkey: Ooof!

[Shrek and the Irelanders run into the church just as Fiona and Farquaad are about to kiss]

Shrek: I OBJECT!

Irelanders: WE OBJECT!

Fiona: Shrek? Guys?

Priest: (gasps)

Lord Farquaad: Oh, now what do they want?

Robbie Rotten: What?!

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: It's them!

Conrad: Great.

Crowd: [clamoring]

Shrek: Hi, everyone. Having a great time, are ya? I love Duloc, first of all. Very clean.

Fiona: What are you all doing here?

Lord Farquaad: Really, it's rude enough being alive when no one wants you, but showing up uninvited to a wedding--

Shrek: Fiona, we need to talk to you!

Fiona: Oh, now you wanna talk? It's a little late for that, so if you'll excuse me--

Shrek: But you can't marry him.

Fiona: And why not?

Connor Lacey: Because, Fiona, he just wants to marry you so that he can be king.

Lord Farquaad: Outrageous! Fiona, don't listen to....

Shrek: He's not your true love.

Fiona: What do you know about true love?

Shrek: Well, I, Uh, I mean.....

Lord Farquaad: Oh, this is precious. The ogre is in love with the princess. Oh, good lord.

[A prompter card man holds up a card which reads laughter, prompting the crowd to laugh]

Crowd: [laugh]

Lord Farquaad: An ogre and a princess! (laughs)

[Shrek looks embarrassed by this]

Fiona: Shrek, is this true?

[Shrek looks at Fiona and is about to say something when Farquaad butts in]

Lord Farquaad: Who cares? It's preposterous! Fiona, my love, we're but a kiss away from our "happily ever after." Now kiss me! Mmmm!

[Then Fiona remembers what Donkey and the others said about telling Shrek about her curse and saw the sun setting outside]

Fiona: By night one way, by day another. (to Shrek) I wanted to show you before.

[She backs up to the window, much to Shrek and Farquaad's confusion. Fiona close her eyes and begins to turn into her ogress form after the sun fully sets. The crowd gasps upon seeing Fiona in ogre form. A lady even faints. Shrek was surprised by this revelation]

Shrek: Well, uh, that explains a lot.

Ellie: See, Shrek? When she said "hideous, ugly beast", she was talking about herself.

Sunset Shimmer: Turns out she was talking about her curse turning her into this at night and not you, after all.

Bob: That's why she can do what you do.

Shrek: I see that now.

[The villains are stunned by Fiona's transformation]

Janja: Wha....

Tirek: That was unexpected.

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: Indeed, I must admit even I did not see this coming.

Judge Claude Frollo: Witchcraft.

Queen Chrysalis: Let's reveal ourselves now.

[The villains reveal themselves to Connor, Shrek and everyone present, much to their shock and horror]

Connor Lacey: You!

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: Yes, us. We're back.

Twilight Sparkle: What are you guys doing here?

Judge Claude Frollo: It's quite simple. We've join forces with Farquaad for revenge against you fools by helping him become king of Duloc to ensure his perfect world is completed, especially with those fairy tale creatures gone due to their heathen ways inflame the peoples' lowest instincts, and they must be stopped, just like gypsies.

Raven Queen: That's what you think! They're actually good folks. You're just so cruel to them and Quasimodo by putting them in jails and make them suffer, not to mention murder his mother.

Queen Chrysalis: Who cares about that? You should have stayed away from this wedding while you still can.

Paxton: No way! You already ruined one wedding pretending to be Cadance! You're not going to ruin this one too!

Conrad: And once we're done with you, Bob, I'II be the new number one builder in Spring City, Conrad the Contractor. Ha-ha.

Bob: I strongly disagree with that, Conrad!

Ace: Yeah, since you're nothing but a bully to me, Thud and Crunch!

Crunch: (growls)

Thud: Aye! And we won't let you or those baddies get away with this.

Soto: If you all think we're ruining this wedding, think again. You're the ones who are ruining it since Farquaad and Fiona are just getting married to become king and queen of Duloc.

Diego: Farquaad's not Fiona's true love! Shrek is!

Zach Varmitech: Ha! How can a princess fall in love with that hideous monster?

Maisie Lockwood: It's her choice! So she's sticking with it!

Hawk Moth: Enough talk. The time has finally come to akumatize the one person who Linda and I have planned for years.

Korra: And who might that be?

Hawk Moth: Your leader, Connor Lacey!

Connor Lacey: Me?

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: Yes, Connor. We've been planning this for years and now, we will finally have the chance.

Twilight Sparkle: Don't you dare do anything to my boyfriend, you... [growls] monsters!

Zach Varmitech: Zachbots, immobilize!

[The Zachbots trap Twilight and her friends in energy fields while Donita's mannequins pose beam the rest of the Irelanders]

Tirek: Now, if you care to proceed, Hawk Moth.

Hawk Moth: As you wish. [to the akuma] Now, my little akuma! Evilize this boy!

[The akuma flies in through the door and towards Connor. It lands on his Ultimatrix and a butterfly shape forms around his eyes]

Hawk Moth: Dark Emerald. I am Hawk Moth. I know that you've been good lately but now, you will be the stepson Linda always wanted you to be!

Connor Lacey: No! You cannot force me to join you! I never have and I never will!

Queen Chrysalis: He's resisting!

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: Try harder!

Hawk Moth: Oh, but you'd like to.

[The akuma consumes Connor and starts to turn into Dark Emerald. He tries to resit it but it's no use. The akuma finally fully consumes him and gains a warlord outfit and his Ultimatrix got dark]

Dark Emerald: (cackles)

Irelanders: (gasps)

Twilight Sparkle: Nooo!

Cozy Glow: Now, with Connor under our control, it's time for your complete destruction! Won't that be fun?

Manny: You call this fun?! If I was your height, I wouldn't think of drawing attention to myself!

Cozy Glow: Ha! No one asks you, mammoth. Especially once you and your lackeys become extinct like your ancestors!

Martin Kratt: That's what you think, Miss Magic Taker!

Paisley Paver: Let's not waste any more time. Let's deal with you fools now and deal with Fiona's revolting look. (shudders)

Lord Farquaad: Ugh! It's disgusting! Guards! Guards! I order you to get that out of my sight now! Get them! Get them both!

[Guards rush in and grab Fiona and Shrek]

Fiona: No, no! Shrek!

Lord Farquaad: This hocus-pocus alters nothing. [putting on his crown] This marriage is binding, and that makes me king! See? See?

Scoop: What do we do?! We can't stay frozen in one place like this forever!

Sliverstream: We have to save Connor, Shrek and Fiona!

Captain Jake: Yeah, but how?!

Twilight Sparkle: If I could break this energy field somehow, I could go over there and reach him!

Starlight Glimmer: We'II deal with the villains and save Shrek and Fiona. Be careful.

Twilight Sparkle: I will. [uses her magic to free herself and gallops over to Dark Emerald]

[The heroes fight the villains]

Janja: Face it, Kion! With Connor under our control, there's nothing you can do to stop us! (cackles)

Kion: That's what you think, Janja!

[Starlight and Chrysalis fight again while Frollo swing his sword at Heidi and Clara]

Frollo: I should have known that you would have risk your life to save your friend, just as your own parents died trying to save you.

Heidi: I may not have my parents but I have my grandfather now to look after me.

Frollo: Now, I'm going to do what I should have to Quasimodo all those years ago!

[He flips his cape onto Heidi and flung her over to the ground]

Clara: Heidi!

[Then as Frollo raise his sword for the kill, Yona rams into him, knocking him to the ground]

Heidi: Thanks, Yona!

Yona: Heidi Yona's friend. Yona no let friends get hurt. Not even by nasty judge.

[Twilight flew to Dark Emerald]

Twilight Sparkle: Connor!

[Dark Emerald sneers]

Twilight Sparkle: You have fight the akuma controlling you!

Dark Emerald: Ha! That dimwitted fool is gone now and I will help my stepmother rule all of Equestria and the 16 relams once and for all, you pathetic horned horse! (cackles)

Twilight Sparkle: Connor, I know you're still in there and I can help you but only if you let me!

[Sunset Shimmer look ups in horror at Connor's villain form since she has a sibling bond with him. Tirek absorb the Human 6's magic]

Tirek: Equestrian magic from humans, delicious.

Sci-Twi: You may take our magic but you will never take us down, like our pony counterparts!

Human 6: Friendship is magic!

Gargamel: Behold the awesome power of the great and powerful Gargamel!

[He fires his magic wand at the heroes]

Star Swirl the Bearded: Oh, no, you don't, Garagamel!

[He fires a beam of magic from his horn and send Gargamel off his feet]

Azrael: (meows)

Bunga: Hey, pussycat, get a load of this!

[He lifts his tail and sprays Azrael with his gas]

Azrael: (meows in disgust and runs off)

Bunga: That's right! Run away, you coward!

Soto: Let's end this, Diego.

Diego: Oh, we're about to.

[The two sabres fight. Shira fights Oscar, Zeke and Lenny]

Oscar: What's the matter, Shira? Trying to make us go easy on you?

Shira: No! I'm a former pirate who knows how to handle myself against tough boys like yourselves!

[He fights Oscar. Zeke tries to catch Buck but missed]

Buck: Yee-haw!

[Ellie rams Lenny away with her tusks]

Ellie: That's girl power for you!

[Maisie faced Robbie]

Robbie Rotten: Hey, little girl, here's a ball for you. (laughs)

[He puts the ball onto the catapult, turns a switch and it flings ball towards Maisie. She ducks to avoid it and it bounce off a column and hits Robbie on the head]

Robbie Rotten: (dizzy) Well, that didn't quite work.

[He falls to the ground]

Maisie Lockwood: (amused) Nice try, Robbie.

Twilight Sparkle: Connor, please! It's me, Twilight!

Merlin: I know how to keep him at bay. Invisibility on!

[He blows up steam everywhere, making it hard for Dark Emerald to see]

Dark Emerald: Gah! What's happening?

Merlin: Now, Twilight!

[Twilight uses her magic to remove Dark Emerald's Ultimatrix from his wrist and stomps on it with her hoof. The akuma flies out. A familiar red and black spotted yo-yo catches it]

Ladybug: Gotcha!

[The steam clears away as Ladybug and Cat Noir step into view. Ladybug releases the purified akuma, now a butterfly, and it flies away]

Cat Noir: Nice job, m'lady.

[Dark Emerald turns back into Connor, who stands and rubs his head]

Connor Lacey: Ugh, what happened?

Twilight Sparkle: Connor! [hugs him] Thank goodness, you're okay!

Connor Lacey: Sure I am! Besides, I'm not gonna let just one akumanization get the better of me.

Merlin: Glad to hear it, Connor. I used my invisibility power to help Twilight save you.

Connor Lacey: Thanks, Merlin.

Ratcliffe: (pointing a pistol at Connor) If it were l, I would have killed you years ago. As I was saying, I never liked you, Lacey. I hereby sentence you to death. Goodbye, Lacey.

Sunset Shimmer: (determined) I'm not letting you take his life!

[She uses her magic to swing a pole which caught Ratcliffe by his cape and left him hanging in the air before cutting the rope, making him fall into the water]

Connor Lacey: Nice one, Sunset.

Sunset Shimmer: I couldn't just let him kill you. You are like a brother to me.

Connor Lacey: Thanks.

Twilight Sparkle: We'd better help our friends and save Shrek and Fiona.

Sunset Shimmer: Right. Come on.

[The struggle continues]

Fiona: No, let go of me! Shrek!

Shrek: No!

Lord Farquaad: Don't just stand there, you morons!

Shrek: Get out of my way! Fiona! Argh!

[Shrek tries to push back the guards but they overwhelm him]

Lord Farquaad: I'll make you regret the day we met. I'll see you drawn and quartered! You'll beg for death to save you!

Fiona: No! Shrek!

Lord Farquaad: And as for you, my wife...

Shrek: Fiona!

Lord Farquaad: (holding a dagger to Fiona's throat) I'II have you locked back in that tower for the rest of your days!

Smolder: Think again, king wannabe! Now, Connor!

Connor (Thomas and Friends): Okay! [blows his whistle]

Lord Farquaad: I am king! I will have order! I will have perfection! I will...

[But before Farquaad can talk any further, Dragon bursts in through the big stained glass window shattering it to bits with Donkey on her back]

Lord Farquaad: [screaming]

[Everyone stops what they're doing and stares at Dragon as she grabs Farquaad in her mouth. She tosses him into the air then swallows him whole]

Donkey: Nobody move! I've got a dragon here! And I'm not afraid to use it!

Dragon: (roars)

Donkey: I'm a donkey on the edge!

[Shrek smiles at Donkey. Dragon burps out Farquaad's crown]

Dragon: (burps)

Donkey: Celebrity marriages. They never last do they?

Spike: They sure don't. (to Dragon's burp) Pardon you.

Chungu: Whoa! She sure eaten him good!

Janja: Oh, I'm not waiting around for her to eat me!

Reirei: Me neither.

Linda Ryan/The Shredderette: Foot Empire, retreat!

Queen Chrysalis: We will always return!

Zach Varmitech: We'II get you next time, Wild Rats!

Clara: It's Wild Kratts!

Zach Varmitech: Whatever!

Conrad: I'II get you back, Bob!

Bob: We'II see about that, Conrad!

[The villains retreat]

Mushu: At least that takes care of Farquaad for good.

Cri-Kee: (chitters)

Crowd: (cheers)

Donkey: Go ahead, Shrek.

Shrek: Uh, Fiona?

Fiona: Yes, Shrek?

Shrek: I... I love you.

Fiona: Really?

Shrek: Really, really.

Fiona: I love you too.

[As Shrek and Fiona kissed, Thelonius writes something on the back of a card and holds it up, it reads "Awwwww". This prompts the crowd to say it]

Crowd: Aaaawwww.

[Fiona is bathed once again in a magical golden light and floats into the air, indicating that Shrek has broken her curse. Everyone watches as Fiona starts to glow even brighter, making Shrek and the Irelanders shield their eyes from the blinding light. The light breaks all the windows in the church as Fiona is freed from her curse and lowered back to the ground as the light fades away. Dragon breaks the final window using her fist]

Shrek: Fiona? (walks over to Fiona, who's laying on the floor) Fiona? Are you alright?

Fiona: (stands up, revealing she's still an ogress) Why, yes. But I don't understand. I'm supposed to be beautiful.

Shrek: But you are beautiful.

[Fiona and Shrek smile at each other]

Manny: Well, what do you know? Just like me and you, Ellie.

Ellie: Yep. No doubt about it.

[The Irelanders smiled]

Donkey: I was hoping this would be a happy ending.

[The song I'm a Believer starts playing as Shrek and Fiona are about to kiss again but Shrek notices the viewers watching and covers the screen with his hand. Later, a petal moves away to reveal Shrek and Fiona getting married in the swamp with the fairytale creatures cheering and clapping for them as they run towards a fairy who turns two mice and an onion into white horses and a carriage which Shrek and Fiona get into. Fiona looks at the flower in her hand and tosses it into the air. Snow White and Cinderella push each other out of the way as they try to catch it, but Dragon catches in her mouth instead. She offers it to Donkey, who looks at Shrek, who salutes him. Donkey smiles at he nuzzles against Dragon. The carriage sets off as the fairytale creatures wave goodbye. Gingy hops along using a candycane as a walking stick]

Gingy: God bless us, everyone.

[The book from the beginning of the film closes to reveal the film's title before panning back to Donkey who's wearing sunglasses]

Donkey: [laughs] Oh, that's funny. [breathes] I can't breathe. I can't breathe.

[The screen fades to black. Connor and Shrek appear under a spotlight]

Connor Lacey: Well, that's all for now folks but we'll be right back as we take on the second-to-last season of Total Drama in "The Irelanders' Super Adventures of Total Drama: All-Stars".

Shrek: See ya there.

[They wave as the screen fades to black]
