[the scene changes to the Search and Rescue Center] It was a busy day at the Sodor Search and Rescue Center. The PAW Patrol, Thomas and Toby puffed in happily. Sir Topham Hatt had a special for Toby. Toby was excited. His bell jingled and jangled!
[Toby rang his bell excitedly]
Toby: I wonder what my special is, guys?
[Then the Logging Locos whistled as they exit the tunnel]
Narrator: Just then, Bash, Dash and Ferdinand came out of the tunnel. They had been working on Misty Island.
Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma and Skye: Hi, Logging Locos!
The Logging Locos: Hello, pups!
Dash: Good to see you...
The Logging Locos: All!
Marshall: So, guys, what's brings you...
Rubble: ...Back to Sodor?
Dash: Today, Sir Topham Hatt is giving Bash his reward...
Bash: For being a really useful engine!
Ferdinand: That's right!
Narrator: Bash puffed and peep with pride.
Bash: (whistles)
Narrator: Then, Sir Topham Hatt stepped out.
Sir Topham Hatt: Bash, your reward is to spend the day with Rocky, Zuma and Toby. And Toby your special is to look after our new friend. I know you will do your job well.
Narrator: Toby jingled with joy and Bash beamed from buffer to buffer.
Toby: Thank you, sir!
Bash: Thank you, sir!
Rocky: Thank you, sir!
Zuma: Thank you, sir!
Narrator: And Rocky, Zuma, Toby and Bash clickety clacked away down the track. [the scene changes to Knapford] First, Toby and Bash puffed into Knapford Station.
Rocky: All aboard...
Zuma: The Toby and Bash Express!
Narrator: Toby had to pick up the children and take them to... [the scene changes to Bluff's Cove] Bluff's Cove.

[then they both shunt the cars] Toby biffed and bashed. Bash heaved and hulled till the sun went down. [the scene changes to nighttime] The four friends were tired.
Toby: Trembling Tracks! We've had worked hard!
Rocky: Yeah, I'm so tired, that I'm starting to feel sleepy.
Zuma: I'm so tired, that I already feel sleepy.
Bash: I need...
Toby: A rest. I know just where to chuff to.
Narrator: Toby led his friends to Arlesdale End. [the scene changes to Arlesdale End] Toby is proud of his home. Bash gasped.
Bash: This is lovely. The birds, the woods, it's quiet, it's...
Toby: Just the place to rest you're aching axels. You can sleep in my shed.
Bash: But I--
Toby: No buts, Bash. Sleep well.
[A little later Toby is seen watching Bash, Rocky and Zuma sleeping]
Narrator: Toby watched over his friends as they slept. Then, an idea bounced into his bell.
Toby: I'm sure Bash would like a home of his own on Sodor. Somewhere hushed and happy like my home.
[The scene changes to the next morning]
Narrator: The next morning, Toby told his friends his plan. Bash was puzzled. Toby was pleased.
Toby: Puff along now, Bash.
Narrator: And before Bash could chuff or huff, Toby was puffing perkily along the tracks. [the scene changes to them in the countryside] Toby and Bash steamed swiftly.
Toby: I'll find a place for Bash to rest. I'll search high and low till I find the best.
[the scene changes to the Fenland]
Narrator: Toby took Rocky, Zuma and Bash to the Fenland.
Toby: This is a good place, Bash. It's as quiet as my home. You can ease your axles and wind down your wheels.
Rocky: It is a quiet place, Toby.
Zuma: I suppose this could work.
Bash: I like to...
Toby: Stay here.
Zuma: Um, guys?
[the ducks flew into the sky squawking]
Narrator: Then, a flock of ducks squawked and hawked into the air. Bash was scared. He'd never seen ducks.
Bash: Fizzling fireboxes!
[then he rushed off]
Narrator: Bash wheeshed away!
Toby: Don't worry, Bash! I have another idea!
[and he rushed off leaving Rocky and Zuma behind]
Rocky: Toby!
Zuma: Wait for us!
[and they chased after them. The scene changes to another part of the countryside]
Narrator: Toby and Bash rattled and rocked.
Toby: I'll find a place for Bash to rest. I'll search high and low till I find the best.
[the scene changes to Farmer McColl's farm]
Narrator: Next, Toby took Rocky, Zuma and Bash to Farmer Coll's field.
Toby: This is a quieter place, Bash. You can ease your axles and wind down your wheels.
Rocky: I guess.
Zuma: The farm is a beautiful place.
Bash: I like to...
Toby: Stay here.
Cows: (mooing)
Narrator: Then, a herd of cows chewed and mooed. Bash was scared. He'd never seen cows.
Bash: Blistering boilers!
[and he dashed off again]
Narrator: And Bash huffed away in a hurry.
Toby: Not to worry, Bash! I have another idea!
[and he rushed off leaving Rocky and Zuma behind again]
Rocky: Toby!
Zuma: Not again!
[and they chased after them. The scene changes to another part of the countryside]
Narrator: Toby and Bash roared and raced.
Toby: I'll find a place for Bash to rest. I'll search high and low till I find the best.
[the scene changes to the cliffs overlooking at the Sodor and Search Rescue Center]
Narrator: Toby and Bash huffed to a halt.
Toby: Here you are, Bash. I'm sure this the best place for you to steam to sleep. It's as pretty as my home!
Narrator: But Bash wasn't sure at all. [then they saw their friends heading to Misty Island] From the top of the cliff he, Rocky and Zuma could see Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Skye, Dash and Ferdinand. Bash whooshed and wheeshed. He was upset. Toby felt terrible.
Toby: I haven't found Bash a place to rest. I haven't made Bash happy. I haven't looked after Bash at all.
Rocky: Toby, we have a confession to make.
Zuma: We know that you were trying to help, Bash. But you weren't listening.
Toby: Bless my bell! You're right. I'm sorry.
Bash: I want to go...
Narrator: Toby was about to answer Bash. Then he stopped.
Toby: I must listen to Bash.
Bash: I want to go... I want to go home!
Rocky: Misty Island?
Zuma: Why?
Bash: It's quiet at home. The woods are green, the birds sing and my friends steam by my side. I was trying to tell you, Toby.
Narrator: Toby wheeshed wisely.
Toby: I know now that you were.
Narrator: Suddenly, Toby pumped his pistons.
Toby: Huff along, guys. What are we waiting for?
Narrator: Bash was puzzled.
Bash: Where are we going?
Toby: We're going to Misty Island!
Rocky: Oh, I get it!
Zuma: We're going...
Bash: Home!
[and so, the four friends raced into the tunnel]
Narrator: Toby and Bash rattled into the Misty Island tunnel. [the camera shows them steaming deeper and deeper] Toby led. Bash clickety clacked.
Toby: Now I know a place for Bash to rest. We'll chuff there fast. It'll be the best!
Narrator: Thank you, Toby! You've listened to me. I feel so happy!
Rocky: We're all happy, Bash!
Zuma: Happy to be together!
Narrator: Toby's bell jingled with joy!
Toby: Huff your hardest, Bash! We've no time to lose!
[soon they made it to Misty Island]
Narrator: Bash and Toby rattled and raced. Their boilers were bubbling, they were red in the face!
