The Plumber (known occasionally as the Mechanic in the original Ratchet & Clank, the Water Worker, or the Janitor) is a recurring character in the Ratchet & Clank series, who makes an appearance in most entries in the series. He is a mysterious travelling solanian handyman who repairs leaky plumbings all across the universe and beyond. He has seemingly omniscient knowledge, and often appears to provide aid or cryptic advice to Ratchet and Clank during their adventures.
