Pooh: Now which book we will go into? Let's see what it is.

{They open the book}

Whyatt Beanstalk: Look, It's The Rolling Rice Cakes.
Pooh: Oh, I know that character. It's the one about an old man who tries to catch some rice cakes as they roll to a family of mice.
Whyatt Beanstalk: In this story, we'll sing the alphabet.
Pooh: By building the word "roll".
Whyatt Beanstalk: Practice the magic of spelling.
Pooh: By spelling the word "dig".
Whyatt Beanstalk: And use the power to read to change the story.
Pooh: By changing the sentence "The rice cakes roll out the door".

Whyatt Beanstalk: So glad you're here! It's us, Whyatt.
Pooh: I'm Pooh Bear.
Elmo: Elmo's Elmo.
Spitfire: I'm Spitfire.
Rosita: Y soy Rosita.
Pooh: Right this way.

{They let the audience follow them to Storybook Village}

Elmo: Welcome to the magical world of the Storybook Village.
Rosita: Where all of our fairytale friends live.

{Computer ringing}

Rosita: Who is it, Whyatt?
Whyatt Beanstalk: It's Red.
Spitfire: And I see Cookie Monster too.
Whyatt Beanstalk: I think they're both looking for something.
Spitfire: But, what?
Pooh: I don't know.
Elmo: Come on! Let's go see.
Spitfire: {To the audience} This way!

{They went down the path and saw Goldilocks and Baby Bear playing hopscotch}

Rosita: Look! It looks to me that Goldilocks is teaching Baby Bear how to play hopscotch.

{Baby Bear falls down and Goldilocks pick you up}

Pooh: Keep trying, Baby Bear.

{They soon see Red and Cookie Monster looking for something}

Red: Hmm?
Cookie Monster: Where are they?
Whyatt Beanstalk: Hi, Red.
Rosita: Hola, Cookie Monster.
Spitfire: What are you guys looking for?
Red: I'm looking for my basket.
Cookie Monster: And me looking for a new box of cookies for me to share.
Red: Have either of you seen the basket or cookies?
Rosita: Siento, Red and Cookie.
Elmo: That means, sorry.
Spitfire: But, we can help you find them.
Pooh: {To the audience} You too. Um, what does the basket look like?

{They pictured the basket and box of cookies}

Cookie Monster: Well, Red told me that it was red and had healthy fruits and muffins.
Red: And Cookie told me that his cookie box was also red, but it was square with a picture of a heart on it.
Cookie Monster: Me think we both dropped them somewhere.
Spitfire: Let's find ourselves a cookie box and basket.

{As everyone was looking, Wolfie saw the basket and cookie box}

Cookie Monster: {To the audience} You saw them? Where?
Wolfie: {Giggles} Hey, a basket of goodies and a box of cookies? Well, I am one lucky wolf!
Red and Cookie Monster: {Gasps}
Red: Double drats!
Cookie Monster: Wolfie got me cookies!
Red: And Wolfie has my basket.

{Wolfie starts playing with the two items}

Wolfie: {Sings for fun} Goodies and cookies, goodies and cookies are so good for me.

{Cookie and Red came to Wolfie}

Cookie Monster: Hey, Wolfie. Those me cookies!
Red: And that's my basket.
Wolfie: Huh?
Cookie Monster: Wolfie, please give our stuff back.
Wolfie: Oh, okay. Here you go.

{Wolfie sadly gives the cookies and basket to Red and Cookie Monster}

Wolfie: {Sadly sings} Goody and cookie, but not for me.
Red and Cookie Monster: Uh oh.
Cookie Monster: What we done?!
Red: Look.
Cookie Monster: Wolfie sad 'cause we made him take the goodies and cookie box away from him.
Pooh: Oh bother.

{Toodee and Brobee came by after when Brobee gave his ball to Toodee}

Brobee: Hey, guys. Oh dear. What happened?
Elmo: Cookie and Red made Wolfie sad.
Toodee: How?
Cookie Monster: Me lost me cookie box and Red lost her basket of goodies.
Red: And Wolfie is so sad that we took our basket of goodies and cookie box.
Cookie Monster and Red: What should we do?

{Rosita noticed what Brobee did to Toodee that Red and Cookie should've done to Wolfie}

Rosita: Hey, I think maybe, uh, you have to, hmm.
Spitfire: Whyatt, what should a person do if they want to keep their favorite things safe and it would make someone sad?
Whyatt Beanstalk: I don't know.
Pooh: Well, this sounds like a super big problem.
Spitfire: And super big problems need us, the Super Readers.
Whyatt Beanstalk: Right, Spitfire. {To the audience} We need to call the rest of the Super Readers. Call them with me. Say "Calling all Super Readers!".
Young Kids and Pooh's team: Calling all Super Readers!
Whyatt Beanstalk: To the Book Club! {Echoes}

{Soon, everyone heard the signal}

Spitfire: Let's go to that Book Club!

{They go inside the club as Molly puts the problem on the screen}

Molly: Red and Cookie Monster, state your problem.
Cookie Monster: Me and Red lost her goodies and cookie box.
Red: And then, Wolfie found them.
Pooh: Oh bother.
Tigger: Yikes.
Maria, Luis, and Gabbie: And then what?
Cookie Monster: We asked Wolfie to take our stuff back.
Red: But now Wolfie is so sad.
Foofa: (Gasps) That's terrible.

Whyatt Beanstalk: Let's read the title of this book (Reads) The Rolling Rice Cakes.
Luis: Here is the catch.
Rarity: All we have to do is to jump into the book.
Gabbie: And we will find the answer to Red and Cookie Monster's question.
Maria: First, we look for the super letters.
Scootaloo: And soon, we put them into the Super Duper...

Snuffy: This must be another Japanese folktale.
Big Bird: Wow, first Momotaro's story and now a rice cake story.

{They came to the first sentence}

Super Why: Let's read.
Fleetfoot: I will read this one.
Super Why: Why-writer, highlight.
Fleetfoot: {To the audience} Let's read together. {Reads} An old man ate his snack on top of a mountain.
Old Man: Mmm, my favorite snack. Rice cakes!

{The man starts to enjoy his snack as Super Why and Fleetfoot went to the second sentence}

Soarin: Mmm, those rice cakes look yummy!
Fleetfoot: {Reads} The old man's rice cakes rolled down the mountain towards some mice.
Mice Family: Rice cakes! Mmm!
Old Man: Aaah! Those mice have my rice cakes!

{The man was shocked as Super Why and Fleetfoot went to the third sentence}

Elmo: Those were some rolling rice cakes.
Snuffy: Yeah.
Cookie Monster: Me think me know what's gonna happen.
Fleetfoot: {Reads} The old man took his rice cakes back from the mice.
Old Man: Those are my rice cakes! Mine!
Youngest Mouse: Oh no.

{The mice felt sad}

Cookie Monster: Hey, the old man made the mice sad when he took away the rice cakes from them.
Elmo: That's just like how you Cookie and Red took your goodies and cookie box away from Wolfie and made him sad.
Fleetfoot: And that, Super Readers, is why we are in this Japanese folktale book. Red, Cookie Monster, and the old man both took back what belonged to them and made someone else sad.
Misty Fly: We have to find that old man.
Soarin: And we can see how he knows about those mice.
Discord: To the old man we go!

{Soon, they see the old man and his rice cakes}

Snuffy: Konichiwa, sir.
Squacky: We are the Super Readers.
Cowbella: We have to tell you something.
Old Man: Please, not right now. I have to get my rice cakes back up the mountain so they don't roll away again.

{The man accidentally made the rice cakes roll down again}

Luis: Uh oh.
Tigger: Rice cakes on a rampage!
Alphablock F: Follow those sweets!
Alphablock R: And remarkably, let's stop this runaway.
Wonder Red: Let's roll!

{Everyone started to follow the rice cakes}

Pooh: Those rice cakes are getting away!
Eeyore: We got to stop them!

{Soon, the rice cakes landed on a tree}

Old Man: Oh no!
Rooney: Well, at least they stopped at that tree.
Moe: Don't worry, I'll go get them down-

{Moe trips and made the branch spring up and made the rice cakes land on the mountain}

Applejack: Great Rising Rice Cakes!
Rarity: They are stuck on the mountain.
Old Man: Egads! The rolling rice cakes are stuck at the top of that mountain. I can't climb that high.
Elmo: Oh my!
Cookie Monster: Aw, boy!
Old Man: How will I ever get them back?
Alpha Pig: We can build a way!
Scootaloo: Yeah!
Rabbit: You know what that means?
Alpha Pig: Alpha Pig, to the rescue!
Big Bird: Here we go!
Snuffy: With our amazing alphabet tools, we can find a way to bring the rice cakes back down.
Kessie: Yes, by letting them roll down.
Silver Zoom: {To the audience} Will you help us? Sweet!
Thunderlane: Now, we need you to help us to sing the alphabet.
Tigger: As Alpha Pig says, ABC, sing with us, that's we.

{Each Alphablock comes by while the members sang}

{The R made one rice cake roll}

Alphablock R: Seems like they are ready to roll!
Kessie: Now then. {To the audience} Where do you see the letter O?

{The O made another rice cake roll}

Alphablock O: {Outstanding with them rolling}
Alpha Pig: Okay, now we need an L.
Snuffy: {To the audience} Hmm, can you show where the letter L is?

{The first L made the last rice cake roll}

Alphablock L: Lovely.
Surprise: And last, we need another L.
Silver Zoom: {To the audience} Can show us the L please?

Tigger: Good job on looking for the L!

{The second L made the last rice cake join with the others}

Double L: Doubly lovely!
Rabbit: Let's see them rice cakes R, O, L, L.
Alphablock R: Rrrrr.

{The word "roll" made the rice cakes roll down the mountain}

Alpha Pig: Lickety letters!

Surprise: And now, the rice cakes are rolling down the mountain.

{Soon, they rolled until they stopped at a log}

Thunderlane: Let's all give ourselves a big thumbs up.

{They gave a thumbs up to the audience}

Pooh: {To the audience} Make sure to look out for some super letters.
Applejack: Now, those were some roll-some rice cakes.
Rarity: But at least they stopped.
Squacky: Yeah, now what could possibly go wrong?

{Soon, they saw the rice cakes moving by themselves}

Brobee: Hey, they're moving by themselves.
Youngest Mice: Mmm, yummy, yummy!
Plex: Hey, it's those mice!
Old Man: Mice, these are my rice cakes! You hear me?
Toodee: Come on, sir. Just give them your rice cakes.
Old Man: No way.

{After the old man grabbed the rice cakes, the mice hid behind a bush and a G, I, T, and R appear}

Toodee: Hey, I see super letters!
Pooh: {To the audience and Toodee} You see super letters already?
Toodee: Yeah, by that bush.
Super Why: {To the audience} Which letters did you find?
Young Kids: G! I! T! R!
Alphablock G: Great golly!
Alphablock I: Impressive!
Alphablock T: That's one good treasure.
Alphablock R: That's a reward I would love.
Pooh: Let's put them in the Super Duper...
Super Why, Pooh, Toodee, the Alphablocks, and Young Kids: Computer!

{The G, I, T, and R go into the message}

Pooh: There were 12 blanks and four had letters.
Super Why: 8 more super letters.
Toodee: And later on, we will have our Super Story Answer.
Pooh: Way to go, Super Readers!

{The old man was happy}

Rooney: Uh, sir, would it be okay if we helped you find your way back?
Old Man: Well, as long as those mice don't get them, I'm happy.
Moe: Well, can I hold onto them?
Old Man: Well, okay. Just make sure you don't eat them.
Moe: Okay, I won't and I can try to resist it.

{Moe kept looking at the rice cakes, but still resisted it}

Moe: Nope. Sorry, aroma.

{Moe wasn't watching where he was going, but soon felt a sneeze coming}

Moe: Uh oh. A, a, a, a, a, achoo!

{Moe accidentally let the rice cakes go}

Cowbella: Oh no!
Rosita: The rice cakes!
Alphablock Y: Yikes!
Moe: Oops!
Old Man: They're rolling away, again!
Owl: Stop those rice cakes!

{They went after the rice cakes}

Bert: I hope they don't fall into some place that is so deep.

{Soon, the rice cakes went rolling around and around and into a deep hole like golfballs}

Princess Presto: Oh my peas!
Spike: Oh no, the rice cakes fell into that hole!
Grover: This is not good.
Deedee: Well, on the bright side, Moe didn't eat any of them.
Moe: Yep, I just had to resist it.
Alphablock G: Gosh. They're gone.
Old Man: Yeah. Gone, gone, gone!
Elmo: Oh boy.
Ernie: Sorry about your rice cakes, Old Man.
Old Man: It's not your fault.

{Spike tried to reach for the rice cakes, but the hole is too small}

Spike: Aw shucks, the hole is too small.
Alphablock N: Now what will we do?
Princess Presto: Cue the sparkles.
Sweetie Belle: Cue the music!
Princess Presto and Sweetie Belle: Team Princess Presto to the rescue!
Abby: With our magic spelling wands, we can spell the word "dig".
Rosita: And that way, we can all go in the hole and go after the rice cakes.
Silver Spoon: Everyone got your wands?
Princess Presto: {To the audience} If so, spell with us.
High Winds: {To the audience} Now what letter do you think makes the ddduh ddduh sound?
Young Kids, Muno, and Gopher: D!
Misty Fly: Now, let's write a lowercase D.

{They write a lowercase D}

{The letter D made a shovel dig a little bit of the hole}

Spike: Yeah, they went out of the hole.

Pooh: There were 12 blanks and 8 had letters.
Piglet: Only four more left.
Spike: And then, we can get the Super Story Answer.
Pooh: Right on, Super Readers!

{Soon, the Super Readers and the Old Man went down the hole}

Gil: Now, let's roll into the hole and get those rice cakes back!
