The Smurflings are a group of young Smurfs who live in a playhouse, made from a tree stump in the Smurf Village. The group contains three boys (Nat, Snappy and Slouchy) and one girl (Sassette). They're the children of The Smurfs series.
They consist of:
- Nat - He wears light brown overalls, a straw hat, and goes barefoot (similar to some depictions of hillbillies). Nat can talk to animals and loves all things related to nature and the environment.
- Snappy - He wears a yellow T-shirt with a storm cloud on it, which is indicative of his impulsive disposition.
- Slouchy - He's not very enthusiastic and he often takes a relaxed pose with eyes half-closed. He has a red tee-shirt and loose-fitting white cap.
- Sassette - She's a little freckled redhead female Smurfling with pigtails and pink overalls. She calls Papa Smurf "Pappy" and Grandpa Smurf "Grandpy". She has somewhat of a warm place in her heart for Gargamel since she was made by his spell, calling him "Pappy Gargamel".
Trivia[]
- The Smurflings are voiced by Charlie Adler (Nat), Pat Musick (Snappy), Noelle North (Slouchy) and Julie McWhirter-Dees (Sassette).
- The boy Smurflings were originally adult Smurfs and de-aged inside Father Time's clock. As for Sassette, she was created by the Smurflings to serve as a sister for Smurfette. Like Smurfette, Sassette was evil at first as she was created using Gargamel's original spell, but with a Smurf-sized lump of magical blue clay. Papa Smurf used the same spell on her that he had used on Smurfette to make her a real Smurf.
- Natural Smurf first met Earthworm Jim and his friends as an adult Smurf in the third season of the TV series, Earthworm Jim's Adventures of The Smurfs. He later de-aged along with Snappy and Slouchy in Season 5, and following the episode involving the creation of Sassette, the other three introduce themselves to Jim and his friends in the "Puppy" episode.
