Thetis (テティス, Tetisu, lit. "Tethys") is a boss from Mega Man ZX Advent who is the Biomatch for Biometal Model L. He is one of the four rival Mega Men who seeks to empower Model W and win the Game of Destiny. He is fought in the Highway.
Appearance[]
Thetis is a young Reploid boy with short blue hair with a single "ahoge" strand standing upright. He is characterized by his innocent, vibrant expression. He wears his Mega Man jacket right under a large hoodie, and though he's sporting a pair of white thigh-high socks, he doesn't appear to be wearing any pants.
Thetis has a red triangle on his forehead, confirming his status as a Reploid. Despite this, Grey calls him a human and Thetis doesn't correct him, though this may have been referring to both Humanoids and Reploids as "humans" altogether.
Personality[]
Thetis is an outwardly pleasant person, often smiling and speaking in a bright tone. He loves swimming and has a deep obsession with the ocean and sea life, preferring nature over other people. He shares the dangerous playfulness of Model L's template, Fairy Leviathan, being a skilled warrior despite his gentle temperament.
However, Thetis truly harbors furious misanthropy. Due to pollution and overpopulation damaging the seas, he participates in the Game of Destiny to gain the power to restore the Earth to its pure state - in other words, to annihilate humanity. However, he considers himself and other Mega Men to be exceptional from the rest of humanity, and it can be assumed that he planned to live in the world alone afterwards.
