Thomas Astruc is a director introduced in the third season of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is played by and based on Thomas Astruc, the creator of Miraculous.
In "Animaestro", when Thomas' special night is ruined at his movie premiere and no one cares about him for creating his animated movie about Ladybug and Cat Noir, he is akumatized by Hawk Moth into Animaestro, an animated supervillain.

He is a rather corpulent man with green eyes, black hair and a beard.
Civilian attire[]
He is wearing black pants and a black shirt, over which he wears a black jacket. Around his neck, he wears a badge with blue lace.
As Animaestro[]

After he was akumatized, he appears as a silhouette of himself but semi-transparent with pencil-scribbles filling out his body. He also wears a Ladybug mask.
Personality[]
He is a very nice man and usually upbeat and excited about his movie premieres. He just wants to be recognized and appreciated for his work but has a tendency to be ignored by everyone.
As Animaestro, he is determined to show everyone what animation is capable of. Like his real-world counterpart, he's more of an asshole to everyone and does whatever he can to get what he desires.

He is the director of an animated film based on Ladybug and Cat Noir.
As Animaestro[]
He is able to shapeshift into whatever animated 2D creature he can imagine, so he has practically unlimited abilities if he can think of it. But he can only move as long as he is watched by at least one person. If no one looks at him, he freezes and he will be stuck in place until someone looks at him.
