Tinker Bell is a pixie fairy who is the best friend of Peter Pan, and the titular main protagonist of the Disney Fairies series.

Bio[]

Tinker Bell was born from a baby's first laugh and a white dandelion seed, when the seed arrived at Pixie Hollow, Tink was tested to discover her magical talent by exposing her to a number of objects related to each fairy talent. She chose the tinker hammer, meaning that she was a Tinker Fairy, indicating that she would be skilled at mending pots, kettles, and acorn caps. Not only was she skilled with repairing things, but she was also an inventor. She lived and grew up at the Fairy Home Tree, located at the heart of Pixie Hollow in central Never Land where all four seasons coexist.

She tried mastering different talents so she could get to England (the Mainland), learned the nature of pixie dust, compete in the Pixie Hollow Games, and met her twin sister Periwinkle. She would also go on to safe a rouge pirate fairy named Zarina and encounter James Hook, better known as Captain Hook, for the first time.

As for how Tinker Bell met Peter Pan, they met when Peter was trying to steal a shark's tooth as part of a bet with the Lost Boys. Peter went out to sea on a raft and a shark bumped the bottom of the raft. The shark bit the raft in half and Peter started to sink. Suddenly, Peter saw a jingle sound over his head and when he looked up, he saw Tinker Bell and she sprinkled her pixie dust on him to allow him to fly, long before he saved the Forever Tree and Never Land from fading away. From that moment on, Peter and Tinker Bell were friends forever.

Together, they worked with the Never Land Pirates, Jake, Izzy, Cubby and Skully, fought Captain Hook, and traveled across the world. They even met the Darling children and took them to Never Land. However, on two adventures with a member of the Darling family, Tinker Bell nearly dies. The first time was when she saved Peter from a trap left by Hook, though she was revived when Peter told her how much she means to him. The second time was because of Jane's disbelief in fairies, though she eventually was revived when Jane started believing.
