• Princess Celestia: Simba, I am warning you that during his stay, you will not harm him! (to Kovu) Do not worry, young man. Simba learned many years ago after defeating Scar and becoming king to respect the sanctity of Pride Rock on his father's behalf.

Not One of Us/Argument

(Back to the heroes)

• Kiara: Daddy, it can't be true.

(Everyone turns to see Kovu approaching)

• Giraffe: It's Kovu!
• Kiara: Kovu!
• Tino Tonitini: Kovu!
• Sakura Avalon: He's alright!

(Kiara and the others tries to run to reunite him, but Simba blocks them as Kovu continues to walk forward)

• Timon: (Gasp) Why I oughta! Let me at him, let me at him! Here hold me back.
• Pumbaa: (grabs Timon's tail) Okay.
• Timon: Let me at him, let me at him!
• Pumbaa: Okay!
• Timon: I think you're missing the basic point here.
• Pumbaa: Oh.

(The animals continue talking to see him as he made it to Simba who is on top of Pride Rock)

• Simba: Why have you come back?!
• Kovu: Simba, I have nothing to do with...
• Simba: (interrupts) You don't belong here!
• Kovu: Please, I ask your forgiveness.
• Kiara: Daddy, please, listen to him.
• Sunset Shimmer: Just let him explain everything please, your majesty.
• Simba: Silence! When you first came here, you asked for judgement. And I pass it now!

(Everyone is shocked at what Simba said and was about to do something as the animals are arguing at Kovu)

• Hannah Whitehouse: Simba, don't do this please!
• Twilight Sparkle: Don't do this to Kovu! We beg of you!
• Simba: Exile!
• Kiara and all heroes: NO!!

(The animals begin to make music and their sounds as the rhythm of the song)

• Kiara: No!
• Akko Kagari: Hang in there!

(Two lionesses block them)

• Kiara: Kovu!

(As Tino and the others watch helplessly to see Kovu while he looks in worry as the animals looked at him and begin to sing)

Animals: Deception~

Disgrace~

(As the antelopes block him very closer Kovu jumps away.)

Evil as plain as the scar on his face~

Zebras: Deception (An outrage!)

Giraffes: Disgrace (For shame!)

(Kovu lands with the Hippopotamus and a bunch of pythons.)

Hippo: He asked for trouble the moment he came.

(The pythons strike at Kovu, but he avoids them and runs off.)

Animals: He can't change his stripes!

Zebras: Deception

An outrage!

Giraffes: Disgrace

For shame!

Animals: You know these outsider types~

Evil as plain as the scar on his face~

See you later, agitator~

Just leave us alone~

Zebras: Deception~

An outrage!

Giraffes: Disgrace~

For shame!

Animals: Traitor, go back with your own!~

Hippo: He asked for trouble the moment he came

Animals: See you later, agitator!~

(As the chorus sings, birds fly after Kovu.)

Chorus: Born in grief~

Raised in hate~

Helpless to defy his fate~

(As they fly, they peck Kovu. Then, Kovu runs to a river.)

Let him run~

Let him live~

But do not forget~

What we cannot forgive~

(Kovu lands on the water finally escape from the animals, he turns his head to see Pride Rock.)

And he is not one of us~

He has never been one of us~

Carver Descartes: Get out of our way!

(Kiara and the others are about to run after Kovu, but the lionesses blocked them again.)

He is not part of us~

Carver Descartes: Not again!

Not our kind~

Someone once lied to us~

Now we're not so blind~

(Kovu looks down at the lake and see the image of Scar, shocked and then he runs off. As he makes over, he goes on a rock and see Pride Rock as the next verse is heard.)

For we knew he would do what he's done~

And we know that he'll never be one of us~

Animals: He is not one of us~

(Kovu walks away, sadly and heartbroken.)

Antelope: Deception~

Zebra: Disgrace~

(An image of Kiara is seen on a dusk sky, feeling sad. Tino, Lor, Carver and Tish are seen, looking down in sadness with their friends)

Antelope: Deception~

Zebra: Disgrace~

(An image of Simba looks at Kovu and turn his head.)

Antelope: Deception~

(Rafiki is sitting on a rock and is upset about Simba's decision. For he knows that Simba had inadvertently defied his father's plans and broken the Circle of Life because of his prejudice against the Outsiders and his hatred towards his uncle.)

Rafiki: (sadly) Oooh.

• Kiara: Father, please reconsider.
• Simba: You will not go anywhere without an escort from now on.
• Kiara: No, that's not...
• Simba: (rudely cuts Kiara off) He used you to get to me!
• Kiara: No! He loves me...for me!

• Simba: Because you are my daughter, you will not leave Pride Rock! You will stay where I can keep an eye on you. Away from him!
• Akko Kagari: (growls in anger) How rude!

• Twilight Sparkle: Simba, do you not realize that you're being a fool?!
• Tino Tonitini: Are you trying to be like Scar?!

• Sunset Shimmer: Kiara may be your daughter, Simba. But here's a bit of a newsflash for you: whether you like it or not, she isn't a cub anymore! She's a full-grown adult lion just like you and everyone else in your pride! And guess what, "your highness?" That's not about to change!

• Applejack: Oh! So, you're saying that Kiara and the rest of us are forbidden to meet up with Kovu because he's nothing but an incarnation of Scar?! We're starting to think that your rotten attitude towards him lately is just you being jealous!
• Simba: Jealous?! Of Kovu?!
• ???: Yeah! Kiara's embracing her future with her one true love and you're just holding her back from being happy!
• Simba: Oh, I'll hold her back, all right. From being an Outlander.

• Pinkie Pie: You're also the type of lion who doesn't trust his friends and family!
• Simba: (finally losing it) Well, maybe, I would've been better off WITHOUT FRIENDS LIKE YOU!!!

• Simba: (softly) Pinkie, I-I didn't mean... I-I'm sorry...I...
• Pinkie Pie: (sniffs; crying) I just can't talk to you right now, Simba. (leaves)
• Tino Tonitini: (sighs in frustration) You know what? Let's just go.
• Carver Descartes: Yeah, we're outta here.
• Sunset Shimmer: You're right, Tino. I don't see any point of staying here anyway. Not after the way he's been treating Kovu and Kiara. He's a disgrace to Pride Rock and has failed to live up to his father's legacy.

• Twilight Sparkle: (stops for a brief moment for one final confrontation with Simba) We have known you for a very long time, Simba, and I'm just gonna come out and say it. But your head has not been right since your father's death, your victory against Scar, and your decision of banishing the Outsiders from the Pride Lands! And you know that! So, get it together, or step down. (leaves in a huff)

• Princess Celestia: (v.o.) How dare you, Simba!
• Simba: (gasps upon seeing Celestia and her royal counsel appear before him, extremely cross with Simba's prejudice attitude) Princess Celestia?! Why-Why are you here?!
• Princess Celestia: Silence! I don't want to hear any of your excuses! Simba, your latest action is the last straw for the royal counsel of Equestria! For hundreds of years, no monarch has ever committed such atrocious act of cruelty towards innocent creatures within and outside your kingdom! You and your royal subjects have desecrated the sanctity of Pride Rock!
• Simba: But...but...but... I-I-I-I...

Searching for Kovu

• Thomas: Kovu, where are you?

• Natalie Blackstone: Kovu!

• Tish Katsufrakis: What are we gonna do? The circle of life is broken because of Simba's selfishness.

• Hunter J: (singing) It's time you learned a lesson

• Simba: (flashback) You will not go anywhere without an escort from now on.
• Kiara: (flashback) No, that's not...
• Simba: (flashback; rudely cuts Kiara off) He used you to get to me!
• Kiara: (flashback) No! He loves me...for me!
• Simba: (flashback) Because you are my daughter, you will not leave Pride Rock! You will stay where I can keep an eye on you. Away from him!
• Kiara: (flashback) You don't know him!
• Simba: (flashback) I know he's following in Scar's pawprints! And I must follow in my father's.
• Kiara: (flashback) You will never be Mufasa!

• Hunter J: (singing) And as you take that first step

Upon a path that's all your own

You see it all so clearly

The best way to survive is all alone

See the world from where I stand
