This is the transcript for Trick-or-Treat, Mr. Grumpfish! and Winnie the Pooh
Intro
- Molly: Hi! It's me, Molly!
- Tigger: Hi-ya, Molly girl!
- Pooh: Hello, Molly.
- Molly: And it's time for...
- (Before Molly can finish, a doorbell ring is heard)
- Rabbit: Hmm… I wonder who that could be.
- (Molly opens the door and finds Gil, wearing a ghost costume and holding out a trick-or-treat bag)
- Gil: Trick-or-treat!
- (Molly chuckles and gets the bowl of candy next to the door)
- Molly: Here you go.
- Gil: Thank you!
- (Gil walks away and Molly closes the door)
- Pooh: Now I know it's Halloween.
- Molly: It's time for...
- (Soon, Gil returns, this time in a robot costume, and rings the doorbell again)
- Gil: (robotic voice) Trick-or-treat!
- (Molly chuckles and puts more candy in Gil's back)
- Gil: (robotic voice) Thank you!
- (Gil walks away and Molly closes the door)
- Pooh: You know, Rabbit. That trick-or-treater's voice sounded very familiar.
- Rabbit: Yes, I've noticed.
- Molly: It's time...
- (Soon, Gil is heard howling)
- Piglet: Yikes!
- Tigger: Gasp! A spookable!
- (Molly, however, catches on to Gil's plan and sneaks off)
- Pooh: Where's Molly going?
- Tigger: I think I know what she's up to.
- (Meanwhile, Gil arrives at the door in a werewolf costume and rings the bell, however, no one answers as Gil rings the bell again, unaware that Molly is coming down from above right behind him)
- Gil: Trick-or-treat?
- (As Gil speaks, Molly finally comes down to the ground in a witch costume, and at the right moment...)
- Molly: Boo!
- (Gil screams and tosses his trick-or-treat bag upward, which lands on his head)
- Tigger: (laughs) Now that's what I call tricking!
- (Molly removes the bag from Gil's head and all the candy falls out. Molly and the others laugh before she and Gil say...)
- Molly and Gil: It's time for Pooh's Adventures of Bubble Guppies!
Back in Bubbletucky/At Igor's Halloween store/Heading to school
- Arthur: I love the smell of autumn!
- Buster: And autumn means one thing!
- Tigger: That's right, Buster-boy! Halloween!
- (Molly, Gil and Bubble Puppy show up)
- Gil: Hi!
- Molly: Happy Halloween!
- Leo: Same to you, guys.
- Edd: I agree, but we must get you two to school
- (Soon, the group is on their way when they soon spot a store as some customers exit and wish them a happy Halloween, to which Molly returns the greeting as Gil realizes what kind of store they've stopped at)
- Gil: Woah! Check it out! A Halloween store!
- Molly: Come on!
- (Everyone soon enters and find Igor at the register)
- Tigger: This place is Tiggerific! And look who's here!
- Pooh: Oh! Hello, Igor.
- Igor: Hi, guys! Happy Halloween!
- Everyone: Happy Halloween!
- Igor: Take a look around! We've got all kinds of great ideas for Halloween costumes this year.
- Mikey: Cowa-boo-nga, dudes! This place has costumes galore!
- Misty: Have you two picked your costumes this year?
- Gil: I want to be something scary. Like a werewolf.
- (Gil proceeds to howl like a werewolf, and Bubble Puppy joins in while everyone chuckles)
- Francine: How about you, Molly?
- Molly: I want to be a kitty. Meow!
- Gil: A kitty? But that's not spooky.
- Eddy: Seriously?
- Igor: You don't have to have a spooky costume on Halloween. Remember when Brain, Buster and Mr. Grouper couldn't find spooky costumes for the haunted house party my friend Hazel invited you all to?
- Edd: I sure remember. In fact, not all of us could find costumes of that caliber that day.
- Igor: Exactly, Double D. You can dress up as anything you want!
- Gil: Cool. Check out these masks!
- Genie: Some of these do look intimidating.
- Binky: Perfect for tonight!
- (As Gil walks along, a familiar looking, scowl-faced fish is soon seen at the end of the isle)
- Gil: Here's a vampire, and a zombie, and a werewolf, and...whoa! Look at this one!
- Edd: Uh, Gilbert. I don't think that's a...
- ???: What?
- (Gil screams when he finds that what he found wasn't a mask, but old Mr. Grumpfish)
- Molly: Hi, Mr. Grumpfish. What are you gonna be for Halloween?
- Mr. Grumpfish: Me? Nothing. I don't like Halloween.
- (Everyone is taken aback by the revelation)
- Gil: You don't like Halloween?
- Donny: Not even as a kid?
- Mr. Grumpfish: Not really.
- Molly: But you get to dress up with your friends.
- Gil: And if you were still our age, you'd get to yell trick-or-treat!
- Ed: It's the night when ghosts and goblins come out to play.
- Eddy: And folks give out buckets and buckets of candy!
- Iago: Doesn't get any better than that!
- Muffy: It's a bunch of scary fun!
- Mr. Grumpfish: Humph. Don't care for it.
- (As Mr. Grumpfish swims towards the exit, Igor comes by with a wagon of supplies)
- Igor: Wow. He sure is grumpy.
- Eeyore: It figures.
- Raph: Tell us about it.
- Eddy: Killjoy.
- Donny: I'll say.
- D.W.: What a party pooper.
- Molly: I'll bet you WE could show him how fun Halloween is.
- Tigger: We could? I mean, we could!
- Skipper: I like it! We'll head to base, and prepare Operation: Halloween Spooktacular!
- Kowalski: Excellent idea, Skipper!
- Private: The real credit goes to Molly for suggesting it.
- Rico: Uh huh!
- Ariel: I don't know what we'll do, but I like it already.
- Flounder: Same here!
- Sebastian: We'll be turning his frown upside-down by tonight!
- Eddy: And then it's trick-or-treating time!
- Gil: Totally! Come on, let's go tell Mr. Grouper!
- (Everyone turns to head out)
- Igor: See ya later, guys! Happy Halloween!
- (Everyone returns the greeting and heads out the store)
Arrived at school/Trick-or-Treat pop song/Costume Laboratory
- Molly: Come on!
- (Soon, everyone heads into the school)
- Goby: Hi.
- Oona: Hello!
- Deema: Hi there!
- Guppies: Good morning, Mr. Grouper!
- Mr. Grouper: Well, good morning, everyone!
- Molly: Hey, everybody!
- Ed: It's Halloween, guys! The night when ghosts and goblins come out to play!
- Deema: Yay!
- Oona: I love Halloween!
- Simba: And I bet there's gonna be plenty of surprises tonight.
- Timon: That's right, Simba. And plenty of treats, too!
- Pumbaa: You know, I bet Bunga would enjoy Halloween, since he's not afraid of anything.
- Gil: Guess who doesn't like Halloween?
- Goby, Nonny, Deema, Oona, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa: Mr. Grumpfish.
- D.W.: He was acting like a spoilsport when we saw him at the Halloween shop.
- Oona: Halloween's my favorite holiday!
- Deema: I can't wait to dress up in my costume!
- Leo: That reminds me, any of you know what you're gonna be tonight?
- Goby: I want to dress up like a spooky skeleton.
- Mikey: No bones about it, huh? (chuckles)
- Ed: (laughs) Good one, Mikey!
- Nonny: I'm dressing up like a dentist.
- Arthur: Don't forget, you can add some Frankenstein to it to be Frankentist, just like I was at that haunted house party.
- Oona: My favorite part of Halloween is when I go trick-or-treating.
- Deema: Me, too! Due to candy.
- (Some of the gang laughs)
- Mr. Grouper: Oh, it's so much fun to go trick-or-treating on Halloween.
- Eddy: I'm into getting the treats, and dishing out the tricks, kiddies!
- Raph: You still know how trick-or-treating goes, right, Mr. G?
- Mr. Grouper: Of course I do, Raphael. You never forget after your first time.
- D.W.: Speaking of first time trick-or-treating, tonight's my first time!
- Mr. Grouper: Well, then we'll teach you how it's done, D.W. Before you head out, make sure you wear a costume.
- Arthur: And there are plenty of costume choices.
- Muffy: Sweet or scary? Scary or sweet? Decisions. (x2)
- D.W.: I'll have to find the perfect costume soon, since tonight's the big night. So, what's next.
- Mr. Grouper: Well, once outside, you can visit your neighbors' homes and ring the doorbell or knock.
- Francine: And don't forget those three words.
- D.W.: I know them by heart, trick or treat!
- Mr. Grouper: Excellent, D.W.! And there are two outcomes to this, you might get a spooky trick, or a tasty treat.
- D.W.: Like candy!
- Mr. Grouper: Right! Or sometimes, you might get some wrapped up fruit!
- Mikey: Speaking of the good stuff, Eddy, Double D, Brain. Donny and me mapped out the perfect route for candy collecting this year!
- Muffy: Hey! This map gives me an idea for a new music video! Let's go to Big Bubble Records and see if we can scare up some music!
- (Soon, the team heads to Big Bubble Records and prepares to start filming)
- Muffy: So, we got everything set up?
- Crewmember #1: We got everything set, Miss Crosswire.
- Muffy: The gang has their costumes all picked out, and we're ready to roll!
- Mr. Grouper: We're on standby!
- Director: Alright, let's boo this! Stand by! And...action!
- (After the song ends, to offscreen applause, Goby is seen)
- Goby: I'm gonna get my Halloween costume! Come with me.
- (We soon see Deema dressed as a mad scientist)
- Deema: Hello, customers. What can I boo for you today?
- (Everyone laughs)
- Goby: I'd like a spooky Halloween costume, please.
- Deema: Well, you've certainly come to the right place!
- (The scene transitions to the inside of a castle laboratory)
- Deema: Welcome to Dr. Deemastein's Costume Laboratory! Where all the costumes are a real scream.
- (Deema presses a button on her machine to activate the sounds of recorded screams, causing everyone to laugh)
- Goby: I can't wait to dress up in a really spooky costume.
- Deema: Just step into the changing room, and...
- (As Deema preps the machine, Goby steps into the room and pulls the curtain)
- Deema: One spooky costume coming right up!
- Donny: Well, then, Dr. Deemastein, THROW THE SWITCH!
- (Deema does so and laughs maniacally, along with Donny, but the laughter soon stops when its revealed that Goby is dressed as a bunny, prompting Eddy to laugh)
- Eddy: (laughs) Nice going, Deemastein!
- Edd: Oh, dear. it seems like your machine suffered from a malfunction.
- Goby: Double D's right. I don't think this bunny costume is very spooky.
- Deema: Yeah, I think you're right. Let's try this again, but I'm gonna need some help.
- D.W.: I'll help you.
- Deema: Thanks, D.W.! We have three costumes to choose from here. Which one of these is scary? The kitty? The skeleton? Or the chicken?
- D.W.: Well, unless it's a black cat, that first one isn't scary at all. And that third one is more funny than spooky. But that skeleton costume, though, now THAT'S the perfect choice.
- Deema: Good choice, D.W.!
- (Deema proceeds to move the skeleton costume around, which makes a rattling sound, while making spooky noises, catching Eddy and Piglet off-guard)
- Piglet: Yike!
- Deema: That's spooky, alright. (to Goby) I think we have a real spooky costume for you. Step back into the changing room, please.
- (Goby does so)
- Donny: Now let's try this again. Dr. Deemastein, throw the switch!
- (Deema does so, and this time, when Goby emerges, he's wearing a skeleton costume)
- Goby: (spookily) Hello! I am a skeleton! (proceeds to make spooky sounds and move about to make his costume rattle, which causes Piglet to hide behind Pooh while Deema chuckles)
- Piglet: Yikes!
- Donny: It's alive! ALIVE!
- Deema: That's some spooky skeleton action.
- Edd: I agree. Goby, you look very convincing.
- Goby: (to Deema) Thank you. (to the others) And thank you for your help.
- Deema: You're welcome. And if you ever need anything else, just howl.
- (Right on cue, Deema presses a button that plays a recorded wolf howl. Soon, the doorbell rings. Deema presses a button to open the door and reveal it was Mr. Grouper, dressed as a Werewolf)
- Mr. Grouper: Excuse me, what time is it?
Time for lunch/Decorating the classroom/Playground story
- Deema: It's time for lunch.
- Pooh: Oh, good.
- (As the song ends, the scene transitions to the porch steps of a house)
- Goby: (dressed as a werewolf) I got a cheeseburger and an ice cream cone. What'd you get, Molly?
- Molly: (dressed as a witch) I got a veggie burger and an ice cream cone. What did you get, Nonny?
- Nonny: (dressed as a vampire) I got a hamburger, and a... (pulls out an ice cream cone with a jack-o-lantern face) You-scream cone?
- Piglet: Why's it called that?
- You-scream cone: Boo!
- (Some of the gang screams while Goby and Molly run away as Nonny laughs)
- Little Fish: A you-scream cone? That's spooky. And yummy!
- (We soon see Molly dressed like a princess)
- Muffy: That's a beautiful princess dress and tiara, Molly.
- Molly: Thanks, Muffy. You don't have to dress up as something spooky for Halloween, you could be a princess, or a kitty...
- (Suddenly, Gil comes in dressed as a superhero)
- Gil: I am Super Guppy! And I'm here to protect you from spooky Halloween stuff.
- Tigger: A superhero who fights spookables?
- Gil: Exactly, my striped friend.
- Molly: (chuckles) You don't need to protect me. I like to be scared on Halloween. That's part of the fun.
- Arthur: I agree. And I bet D.W. here is gonna enjoy being scared tonight.
- D.W.: You're right, Arthur. But maybe I might be the scare-er instead of the scared.
- Gil: Well, not everyone enjoys getting scared on Halloween. Therefore, I'll protect Piglet, because Super Guppy isn't afraid of anything. Especially, as Tigger said, spookables.
- (As Gil talks, a little fish dressed as a ghost sneaks up behind him, though only Molly and the others notice)
- Eddy: Is that so?
- Molly: Not even ghosts?
- Gil: Who's afraid of a little gho...
- (Gil turns around and sees the "ghost" right behind him)
- Little Fish: Boo!
- Gil: Ghost! (screams and falls)
- Eddy: Ha! So much for not being afraid of anything.
- Edd: It was just a fish wearing a sheet on his head as a ghost costume.
- (Everyone shares a laugh as Goby and Kowalski come in with a wagon full of spooky decorations)
- Goby: Hello. We're making a haunted hose.
- Kowalski: As Skipper told me when we started, Operation: Halloween Spooktacular is a go! And the plan is to turn the classroom into a haunted house for trick-or-treaters to walk through.
- Goby: We'll show you! Come on!
- Molly: (gasps) Spooky! Let's go!
- (The scene soon transitions to the classroom, where we see the whole classroom being decorated while Oona and Nonny draw spooky pictures)
- Molly: Wow! It's starting to look really spooky in here.
- Oona: And when we turn out the lights, it'll be even spookier.
- Skipper: That's all part of Operation: Halloween Spooktacular, Molly.
- Arthur: We're going to let trick-or-treaters come in and walk through the haunted house we're building.
- Brain: And then we give them a treat when they reach the end.
- Eddy: With one final scare once they get there to send them to the exit.
- Private: They'll enter the front door, walk through, and the big scare will send them right back to the front for a treat.
- Kowalski: But we'll give them a choice, first. Once they come, they can either get the treat and then the trick, which is the haunted house, or the trick first and then the treat.
- D.W.: A choice between getting the treat or the trick first? I love that idea!
- Edd: It sounds like an interesting concept that just might prove a success.
- Ed: A haunted house, Double D! Vampires, goblins and bats! (x2) Oh my! (x2)
- (Soon, Deema comes in wearing a princess-werewolf hybrid costume)
- Binky: Hey, Deema. What's with your costume?
- Deema: I can't decide whether I want to be a princess, or a werewolf. So I'm gonna be both! (sings to herself and then howls, causing some to laugh)
- Ariel: Do we have the music ready, Sebastian?
- Sebastian: Me and Flounder found the best choice to create the mood. It's called, "Sounds to Make You Shiver".
- Flounder: Spooky sound effects for a haunted house fit like peanut butter and chocolate.
- Buster: A delicious combination.
- Timon: Hey, Mr. Grouper! How are Gil and Goby doing with their face paint?
- (Right on cue, we see Mr. Grouper painting Gil and Goby's faces)
- Mr. Grouper: Almost there...done! Take a look, guys.
- (Gil and Goby grab some mirrors and see Mr. Grouper's handiwork, with Goby having darker eyes while Gil has a full blown skull painted on his face)
- Mr. Grouper: What do you think? Pretty spooky, huh?
- Gil: Yeah!
- Goby: (in a slight Transylvanian accent) Really spooky!
- Kowalski: I'd say you two are ready for some grade A haunting tonight.
- (Gil and Goby prove Kowalski's point by acting scary)
- Molly: Mr. Grouper? Can we invited Mr. Grumpfish to our haunted house?
- Mr. Grouper: Of course we can!
- Skipper: Wowzers! That's the whole objective of Operation: Halloween Spooktacular. Get Mr. Grumpfish to throw those troubles away and have a happy Halloween. Pronto!
- Kowalski: So Mr. Grouper is gonna have that paint brush and pallet at the ready all day and night.
- Gil: Yeah! When he sees our haunted house, he's totally gonna be scared!
- Piglet: Hopefully not too scared.
- Gil: Don't worry, Piget. He'll know it's all just for fun.
- Goby: And when he sees how fun it is, he'll love Halloween!
- Gil: (spookily) Just like us!
- Goby: Roar! Totally!
- (Everyone laughs)
- Mr. Grouper: Okay, all you spooky trick-or-treaters! Line up! It's time to go outside!
- Double D: And we'll continue working on the haunted house while you all play!
- Piglet: Actually, I think I'll join you, Guppies!
- Molly: I'm dressing up as a superhero.
- Goby: I'm dressing up as a vampire.
- Piglet: I'm dressed as a Super Sleuth.
- Deema: I'm a leopard lady. (purrs)
- Nonny: Once upon a time...
- (The scene soon transitions to a city where we see, Molly, Goby and Deema in their selected costumes)
- Nonny: (V.O.) There were four trick-or-treaters who were all dressed up for Halloween.
- Molly: Welcome to my neighborhood! Now let's go trick-or-treating. To the candy!
- (Molly zooms through the revolving door of the apartment as Goby, Deema and Piglet follow her)
- Nonny: (V.O.) So, they went into a big apartment building to trick-or-treat.
- (Up on a higher floor, the four leave the elevator and come to an apartment)
- Molly: Stand back! I will ring the doorbell!
- (But just as Molly prepares to ring the bell, they hear something spooky coming their way)
- Piglet: What was that?
- (They look down the hallway and see what they think is someone in a ghost costume)
- Deema: Nice costume. So afterlife-like.
- (But as what they see approaches, they realize it's not someone in a costume, due to its transparency and lack of arms and legs)
- Goby: I don't think that's a costume.
- Piglet: I don't see any arms or legs.
- Molly: It's...it's, a ghost!
- Deema: Oh.
- Piglet: Oh, d-d-d-dear!
- Goby: Run for it!
- (And they all do so, hiding in or next to the dumpster in the alley next to the apartment building)
- Goby: (in a Transylvanian accent) Phew! That was close.
- Molly: But we didn't get any candy.
- Piglet: And that ghost might follow us if we go to my neighborhood in the Hundred Acre Wood.
- Deema: Let's go trick-or-treating in my neighborhood!
- Molly: Okay.
- Goby: (in a Transylvanian accent) Wonderful.
- Piglet: Well, if you're sure. Okay.
- Nonny: (V.O.) So the trick-or-treaters went to the leopard lady's neighborhood.
- Deema: This way, frrriends.
- (They soon reach one of the houses in the trees)
- Goby: (in a Transylvanian accent) I will ring the doorbell this time.
- (But as Goby approaches the doorbell, they hear something coming)
- Piglet: Oh, no. Not again!
- (They all turn and see the ghost coming)
- Goby, Deema and Molly: Ghost!
- Piglet: Oh, dear!
- (Everyone races to the bottom of the tree and hides behind one of the roots)
- Deema: (sighs) I think we lost him.
- Goby: (in a Transylvanian accent) Let us go to my neighborhood. We will trick-or-treat there.
- Nonny: (V.O.) And so, the trick-or-treaters went to the vampire's neighborhood.
- (The four soon arrive at a big castle)
- Molly: (quietly) Spooky.
- Goby: (quietly) Totally.
- Deema: I wonder if the ghost is around here.
- Piglet: Oh, dear.
- (Deema bumps into Molly, who bumps into Goby, and they all scare themselves)
- Deema; Oh, phew! It's only you.
- Piglet: Oh, dear. Look.
- (As Piglet points to the ground, the other three realize they dropped their candy buckets and the contents inside them)
- Goby: (in a Transylvanian accent) Oh, no! We spilled all our candy!
- (The three gather up their candies, but then they hear someone coming back again)
- Deema: The ghost is coming! (to the audience) You can tell by the spooky music.
- Piglet: We know.
- Goby: (in a Transylvanian accent) Let's get out of here!
- (Molly soon notices something else on the ground)
- Molly: But, wait. Where do these extra candies go?
- Piglet: They aren't mine. All my treats are still in the bag.
- Molly: Well, then, Piglet, I need your help.
- (The scene transitions)
- Molly: Each bucket should have four pieces of candy in them, but there are two pieces left over. Which bucket needs two more pieces of candy?
- Piglet: Let's see. Well, if each bucket has four pieces, and two are left over, that means the one with less than four pieces of candy is where these two go. And it looks like your bucket is the one that has less candy.
- Molly: Yeah. Now each bucket has four candies. They all have the same amount.
- (The scene transitions again, as the ghost's music plays again)
- Piglet: That's all sorted out.
- Molly: Uh-oh! But here comes the ghost!
- Goby: Let's hide! And when he gets here, we'll jump out and scare him!
- Piglet: Well, if you're sure. Okay.
- (Everyone hides behind a hedge wall as the ghost approaches. The ghost looks around, but doesn't see the four. Then, at the right moment...)
- Goby, Deema, Molly: BOO!
- Piglet: BOO, I SAY!
- (The ghost then drops a trick-or-treat bucket and runs into a corner in tears)
- Piglet: Oh, d-dear. I guess we overdid it and scared him too much.
- (Molly picks up the ghost's bucket and they all walk over to his hiding spot)
- Molly: Aw, don't cry. We're sorry we scared you.
- Piglet: Yeah, we didn’t mean it.
- Deema: You were trying to scare us.
- Piglet: At least, that's what we thought when we saw and heard you following us.
- Ghost: I...I wasn't trying to scare you. I just wanted to go trick-or-treating with you guys.
- Goby: (in a Transylvanian accent) Well, why didn't you say so?
- Molly: You can trick-or-treat with us.
- Piglet: The more the scarier, as a friend once told me.
- (The ghost happily swirls around and the four laugh before they all head to the door of the castle)
- Nonny: (V.O.) And so, the five friends went trick-or-treating together.
- (The ghost rings the doorbell, and it soon opens)
- All: Trick-or-treat!
- (The figure at the door turns around to reveal it's Nonny, dressed like a zombie)
- Nonny: And they all lived happily ever after.
- (The scene then transitions back to the playground)
- Muffy: Great story. But we've got news.
- Rabbit: The haunted house won't be ready until tonight.
- D.W.: But in the meantime, Ariel came up with a song for a new dance video.
- Molly: Well, then, what are we waiting for? Come on, everybody! It's time to dance!
- (Everyone heads in as the music starts)
The Haunted House is Ready/Ending
- (After the dance song ends, Molly is seen in her cat costume)
- Molly: Did you find a costume, D.W.?
- D.W.: I sure did! Isn't it terrifying?
- Eddy: I think it's more on the old school side of terrifying, but in a good way, of course.
- Edd: I agree, Eddy. Nothing beats the classics.
- Ed: And what's more classic than a giant mutant octopus?
- D.W.: Or more scary? Man, other kids are gonna scream when they see this.
- Molly: They just might, D.W., because when you dress up for Halloween, you can scare your friends, or maybe they'll try to scare you...
- (But before Molly can continue, Gil is soon heard howling)
- Raph: Sounds like Gil's gone werewolf.
- (And right on cue, they all see Gil in a werewolf costume teaching some fish dressed like werewolves, including Flounder, to howl)
- Molly: Hey, Gilly. What are you guys doing?
- Gil: We're being werewolves.
- Leo: Just like you said, Raph.
- Gil: Check it out. We're hairy. We're scary. And when we see the full moon, we howl. (to the fish and Flounder) Ready to give it a try?
- Little Fish: Ready!
- Flounder: Let's do it!
- Gil: Okay, Flounder, you first. Ready... howl!
- (Flounder does so)
- Gil: Good job, Flounder. Now for you three... howl!
- (However, the three start clucking like chickens instead of howling like werewolves, prompting Molly and the others to laugh)
- Gil: No, no, no! That's not right! Werewolves go...(proceeds to howl) Got it?
- Little Fish: Oh! Okay! We got it!
- (However, the three continue clucking like chickens and swim away)
- Gil: Oh, you guys! Come on! Wait!
- (Gil proceeds to go after them as the gang laughs)
- Ed: Chicken Werewolf fish! (laughs) Hug a chicken! (x2)
- (Soon, Mr. Grouper and the rest of the gang show up)
- Mr. Grouper: Good evening. Our haunted house is ready for visitors. (makes spooky noises)
- Edd: We're ready to open? Fantastic!
- Eddy: Oh, yeah! It's time to hear some top quality screams!
- Tigger: This is gonna be the bestest Halloween ever!
- Kowalski: And the invitation to the target has been delivered!
- Skipper: He'll be showing up later, but we got to see if the haunted house is scary enough.
- Brain: Me, Donny and Double D made sure of it, and Mr. Grouper put the final touches on the "scare-actors" inside.
- Binky: Man, if some of our classmates were here, they'd get really spooked!
- Buster: Except for Sue Ellen.
- Arthur: And after the screams, it's trick or treating time!
- Rabbit: The Guppies will handle the inside while the rest of us handle the outside.
- Tigger: Don't forget, Long Ears, we have to pull off the big scare near the end.
- Pooh: That's right, Tigger
- Molly: So, D.W., do you want to see the haunted house we made?
- D.W.: I sure do! Since I was busy looking for a costume, I didn't get to see much of it being built.
- Molly: Great! Come on!
- (Later that night, people are seen coming and going from the school)
- Eddy: This is brilliant! Those kids can come back to get another scare after getting their candy!
- Edd: Of course they can, Eddy. It's part of the fun.
- Brain: And look who's coming now! Good evening, sir. We've been waiting for you.
- Muffy: Please proceed up the stairs to the door.
- Binky: And please ring the doorbell to let the "residents" know that you, our "guest of honor", has now arrived.
- Skipper: The unsuspecting stranger has arrived! I repeat, the unsuspecting stranger has arrived! The final phase of Operation: Halloween Spooktacular is a-go!
- (Inside, Molly and Gil hear the doorbell ring, and know just who it is)
- Molly: Ready, Gil?
- (Molly presses a button and opens the door to reveal its Mr. Grumpfish, the very one Brain was speaking to)
- Molly: Mr. Grumpfish! You came!
- Molly and Gil: (spookily) Welcome to our haunted house.
- Mr. Grumpfish: Yeah.
- Gil: Hey, wait a minute. Where's your costume, Mr. Grumpfish?
- Mr. Grumpfish: My wha?
- Molly: Your costume. It's Halloween.
- Eddy: We have a bit of a costume equals entrance rule here.
- Edd: You can only enter if you have some kind of disguise.
- Gil: At least let us paint your face.
- Mr. Grumpfish: Alright.
- Edd: Oh, Mr. Grouper? Our "guest" needs a new look.
- (Mr. Grouper soon comes out from behind the curtain leading into the haunted house with paintbrush and pallet in hand)
- Mr. Grouper: (spookily) Hello, Mr. Grumpfish.
- Eddy: So, what'll it be?
- Mr. Grouper: Would you like to be spooky like a skeleton?
- Molly: Or sweet like a kitty?
- Mr. Grumpfish: Doesn't matter.
- Genie: You heard, him, Mr. Grouper. Work your magic!
- Mr. Grouper: Okeydokey!
- (And so, Mr. Grouper sets to work, and in moments, he's finished)
- Mr. Grouper: There you go.
- Gil: Cool.
- (Mr. Grouper puts a pumpkin stem hat on Mr. Grumpfish's head to complete the disguise)
- Molly: Now, you're a jack-o-lantern.
- Edd: You look very convincing.
- Mr. Grumpfish: It'll do.
- Binky: Now he's ready. Tell them, Arthur.
- Arthur: Mr. Grumpfish is here!
- Molly: Now come inside (pulls the curtain back), if you dare.
- Mr. Grumpfish: Alright.
- (Mr. Grumpfish soon enters while Eddy gets a big grin on his face, knowing that they got him. Soon, Gil and Molly join Mr. Grumpfish as his guides as they enter the first part of the haunted house, a graveyard)
- Gil: First, we must pass through this spooky place.
- (As Mr. Grumpfish approaches a tree, a bat drops down. However, he doesn't even jump)
- Molly: Please keep moving. There might be zombies here.
- (Right on cue, Goby and Nonny, both dressed as zombies, come out from behind a tombstone)
- Molly and Gil: Zombies!
- (However, Mr. Grumpfish doesn't even shiver)
- Mr. Grumpfish: Okay.
- (Mr. Grumpfish moves on to the next part of the house)
- Goby: I don't think he was scared.
- Eddy: That didn't scare him?
- Iago: Not even a tingled spine.
- Binky: Just wait, we'll get him sooner or later.
- (Meanwhile, Mr. Grumpfish comes to the next part of the haunt, a dark forest. As he enters, a howl is heard)
- Gil: (gasp) Did you hear that?
- (They soon find Deema dressed as a Werewolf and howling at the moon)
- Molly and Gil: Werewolf!
- Deema: HOOOOOOW you doing, Mr. Grumpfish?
- (But Mr. Grumpfish didn't even gasp as he and his guides move on)
- Buster: That didn't work either?
- Deema: Well, that was disappointing.
- (Mr. Grumpfish then enters the final part of the haunted house, the haunted vampire study, where Oona and the Ninja Turtles await, dressed like vampires, as well as Bubble Puppy dressed as a ghost)
- Raph: (in a Transylvanian accent) Welcome. Welcome to our home.
- Molly: Look, Mr. Grumpfish!
- Gil: A totally real ghost!
- (However, Mr. Grumpfish could see through the disguise)
- Mr. Grumpfish: Good puppy. (pets Bubble Puppy)
- (Gil unmasks Bubble Puppy, and everyone in earshot and eyeshot is disappointed and shocked at their failure to scare Mr. Grumpfish)
- Mr. Grumpfish: Alright. See you later.
- Eddy: We didn't scare him at all?
- Arthur: No way!
- Binky: He must be like Sue Ellen!
- Raph: Not even a gasp in fright.
- Edd: We didn't even send a tingling sensation up his spine?
- Molly: Mr. Grumpfish, didn't you like our haunted house?
- Gil: Weren't you scared? (moans spookily)
- Mr. Grumpfish: Not really. Thanks anyway.
- (However, as Mr. Grumpfish turns around towards a mirror, he gets the fright of his life and runs away from it, causing everyone to worry)
- Molly: Mr. Grumpfish!
- Gil: What is it?!
- Binky: Looks like that grump CAN get spooked!
- Buster: He looks like he just saw a ghost!
- Edd: Goodness, Mr. Grumpfish. Are you alright?
- Francine: He looks pretty scared to me.
- Muffy: Yeah, but what scared him?
- Mr. Grumpfish: It was...(stammers)...It was, s-s-something, right over there!
- (Oona goes to where Mr. Grumpfish points to, which is by the mirror, but when she checks behind it, nothing is seen)
- Oona: I don't see anything.
- Ed: Maybe it was the Invisible Man!
- Eddy: Get real, monobrow.
- Edd: Can you describe it?
- Mr. Grumpfish: It...it was orange. And mean. And it looked so...(meekly) grumpy.
- (At that moment, everyone realizes what Mr. Grumpfish saw and what he was talking about)
- Molly: Mr. Grumpfish, that was your reflection in the mirror.
- Gil: You scared yourself.
- Tigger: He did?
- (Soon, everyone else comes in, having heard or saw what happened, as Mr. Grumpfish looks into the mirror to see that the two were right)
- Edd: You see? The face paint that Mr. Grouper used on you made you think you saw a monster when you really were looking at your reflection.
- Eddy: (snickers) You were right, Double D. He does look convincing, if he managed to scare himself! (laughs)
- Iago: That's hysterical! (laughs)
- Binky: Who knew that your reflection could be your own worst fear? (laughs)
- (Soon, Mr. Grumpfish starts laughing)
- Mr. Grumpfish: (chuckles) It's me. (chuckles) That's my reflection. (chuckles) In the mirror. (chuckles) I scared myself.
- (Soon, Deema starts laughing with him, as do the others, before he breaks out in song)
- (The camera soon pans out as the song ends, with a shadowy figure of a ghost rushing across the screen as the scene transitions)
- Gil: That was awesome! Mr. Grumpfish got really scared!
- Molly: We all did. It's fun to get scared on Halloween.
- Eddy: Scaring himself in the mirror? PRICELESS!
- Mikey: That scare was unplanned and too perfect!
- Skipper: I'd say Operation: Halloween Spooktacular was a success! Mission accomplished, gang!
- (Skipper and the group high five)
- Piglet: You know, even I enjoyed a few scares tonight.
- Gil: I guess so, but, I never really get scared.
- Binky: Well, what about what happened at the costume shop this morning?
- Francine: Yeah, your reaction to Mr. Grumpfish revealing he wasn't one of the masks for sale made you look like you saw a monster.
- Gil: That was just practice.
- (Soon, the doorbell rings)
- Gil: I'll get it. It's probably more trick or treaters.
- (As Gil swims to the door, little does he know that it's Mr. Grumpfish on the other side)
- Molly: You really never get scared on Halloween?
- Gil: Nope. It's pretty hard to scare me.
- (As Gil opens the door, little does he know that he's swimming straight into Mr. Grumpfish)
- Arthur: But nobody's brave all the time.
- (Once Gil starts looking at what's in front of him...)
- Mr. Grumpfish: Boo.
- (Gil screams and runs away while everyone shares a laugh as the episode ends)
