Webby Vanderquack in DuckTales (2017)
Webbigail "Webby" Vanderquack, birth name April, is one of the nine main protagonists from the Disney TV show DuckTales. She is the foster compassionate, nauseatingly adorable, sugary sweet and unbearably beautiful granddaughter of Bentina Beakley and is later revealed to be the genetic clone/daughter of Scrooge McDuck as well as the sister of May and June.
Appearance[]
Webby is a small white preteen duck with white feathers that are generally styled in a bob cut. She wears a pink bow on the right side of her head. She wears pink shirt with rolled-up sleeves, a blue sleeveless sweater vest, and a purple skirt.
Personality[]
Webby is an adventurous, zealous, and eager girl who dreams of being an explorer. Her life prior to the events of "Woo-oo!", Webby has had very little social contact in her entire life, which makes her socially awkward upon meeting new people. Webby is an excitable young girl, often rambling and never knowing when to stop speaking. This Webby is an action girl, unlike her 1987 version.
In addition to her cuteness, Webby is kind, sweet and cares about those around her deeply. She is also a big fan of the McDuck family, and is very knowledgeable on many aspects of their genealogy and always enjoys studying their exciting and mysterious family. Webby is a very athletic and capable young girl, skilled in espionage-tactics, accents, and parkour. Webby is also socially awkward because she was kept inside for most of her life becoming socially awkward when leaving the mansion.
Webby is also shown to have a very emotional side. This was shown in "Nothing Can Stop Della Duck!", when Della finally reunited with Huey, Dewey and Louie, and she joyfully cried her eyes out.
With all of her cooped up energy for adventure and danger, Webby can make a small game intense; as shown in "Daytrip of Doom!". And for being alone (as the only child in the mansion) wanted for friends for so long, until "Woo-oo!" when she meets the triplets, and all of her dreams came true.

- Webby is around one year younger than her friend, Lena.
- Webby's grandmother Mrs. Beakley, is her legal guardian. Why she doesn't have parents was never revealed in the show, though it can be assumed that Mrs. Beakley is her maternal grandmother since they don't share a surname.
- In "Escape from the Impossibin!", Webby is revealed to have ventriloquise skills, as she can throw her voice, and imitate others. (In this case, Dewey).
- Because her real name is April, Webby was officially based one of Daisy’s nieces.
- Webby is best friends with Fluttershy (because they both have a way with animals).
- Webby Vanderquack met Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Eeyore, and Genie in Pooh's Adventures of DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp.
