Yakko, Wakko and Dot Warner are the three titular main characters in the show, Animaniacs. They are Warner Bros. characters known as The Warner Brothers and their sister Dot. They first met Pooh and his friends in Pooh's Adventures of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!: Jeepers, It's the Creeper.

Appearances[]

Yakko is the oldest and tallest of the Warner siblings as well. He wears a pair of tan slack pants up to his waist, held up by a large black belt. In the revival, he has grown a small tuft of hair on the top of his head similar to Pinky’s. Out of the three, Yakko easily takes the role as the leader of the Warner Siblings as well as a parental figure for Wakko, and Dot.

Wakko is the middle child of the Warner siblings, and the goofball of the three. He wears a red baseball cap along with a blue turtleneck.

Dot (full name Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bo Besca III) is the youngest of the Warners as well as the only girl, as she refers "..., and the Warner sister." She wears her ears up using a yellow flower ribbon and a short pink skirt. She is the self-proclaimed cutest character in the show.

Personalities[]

The Warners are known to be zany to the max. Whenever they get caught, they're locked up in the tower, but they always break loose and vamoose. But they each have their own personality.

Yakko[]

Yakko has an playfully arrogant and irreverent personality but proves to be responsible, persistent, determinant, and optimistic. He sometimes acts like a teenager but mostly he acts like his brother and sister. When the need arises, he is protective and loyal. Yakko is the most talkative out of the trio, considering the first syllable of his name (Yakk), and is also known for most of the adult jokes, and says "Goodnight Everybody!" when someone else says something that could be interpreted as something more adult than intended.

Wakko[]

Wakko is sweet-natured and canny. Wakko is a trickster like his siblings but he is easily the most polite out of the Warners. Despite his good-natured, Wakko has a voracious appetite and is the most physical of the siblings. He has a phobic fear of clowns, Wakko speaks with a British/Scouse/Liverpudlian accent, he has a silent nature, Wakko is flexible and takes objects out of his magic pocket when the situation calls for it. He is the least intelligent of the three. Wakko is a fan of the late Don Knotts, the instrument he plays most often is the drums. In Wakko's Wish, it's revealed that Wakko is optimistic, as he constantly tells his siblings and the inhabitants of Acme Falls to "Never give up hope", and it's his hope that ultimately saved Warnerstock from King Salazar's tyranny, as it's Wakko's hope that allowed him to find the Wishing Star, starting the chain of events that ends with the Warners (literally) booting Salazar out of the castle which is revealed it rightfully belongs to the Warners.

Dot[]

Dot is the little princess of the Warner trio. She is caring, outgoing, highly intelligent, obstinate, but it also has a temper that can trigger very easily, such as if someone calls her "Dottie", it will spell their doom. She tends to be the most confident in the group; sometimes, Dot is a little overly emotional. The instrument that she plays most often is the violin.

Yakko's fast-talking puns are a tribute to Groucho Marx from the Marx Brothers.
Yakko is ambidextrous. In some episodes, he is seen writing with his left hand, and in others, he is seen writing with his right hand.
Yakko appeared as an inflatable balloon display on top of the water tower in Burbank in real life, this was in promotion of the show before it was released. However, when Bob Daley, who ran the studio at the time, saw the balloon, he thought that a misshapen Mickey Mouse was sitting on top of the tower and he demanded it be removed. It was removed but not before Paul Rugg took a photo of the balloon.
Yakko's idol is American actress Michelle Pfeiffer (who in the series was portrayed in the Catwoman outfit she wore in Batman Returns).
His favorite color is lavender, according to the short Yakko Warner's World of Baldness.
In one of the Yakko Wakko and Dot Comedies, Yakko likes to collect keys.
In an interview with Tom Ruegger, he states that Yakko is 14-years-old.
He‘s a very good advertiser especially in the commercial skit episodes during the show.
Yakko can talk in a crescendo tone (especially when outsmarting people).
Yakko is the same height as Bugs Bunny.

Wakko Warner's quieter nature, gaggy bag and gookie are derived from Harpo Marx of the Marx Brothers.
Wakko's accent is based on people from the city of Liverpool, UK. People from this city are often known as "scousers". His accent is modeled on The Beatles, but most notably Ringo Starr.
Wakko has been shown to be similar to Yakko when his hat is taken off (only briefly in a few episodes like with No Pain, No Painting, the Senses song, The Warners and The Beanstalk, Chalkboard Bungle, Yakko Warner's World Of Baldness and in Wakko's Wish), the only difference being his face is more circular and he has a messy tuft of hair as well.
Wakko was originally going to be two separate characters, Wakky and Smakky.
Wakko's burps are actually done by Maurice LaMarche (voice of The Brain & Squit).
In Clown And Out, Wakko is coulrophobic (or afraid of clowns), which is shared with Warner Bros. CEO Thaddeus Plotz.
In the song Hello Nurse, he's said to be 7. In an interview with Tom Ruegger, however, he states that he's actually 11-years-old. This was to keep the rhyme in the song, as "eleven" has too many syllables to rhyme with "heaven".
Wakko is the same height as Buster Bunny.

A running gag with Dot involves her "pet", a large, constantly-changing monster that she keeps in a small box. In "Spaced Probed" one of her pets marries an alien.
In Wakko's Wish, she is revealed to be ticklish as Yakko tickles her.
In the series of "Pinky and the Brain" Dot made a cameo in "The Third Mouse", waving at Pinky and Brain after Pinky said "Poit! One of those Dots is waving at us!", even though the episode was in black and white, her nose is red, just like the 1930's cartoons on Animaniacs.
Sherri Stoner invented Dot's full name, patterned after Pippi Longstocking's full name: Pippilotta Delicatessa Windowshade Mackrelmint Ephraim's Daughter Longstocking.
She has shown greater than average ability in numerous activities, such as making chocolate bunnies or playing the piano. Just little things Dot does.
In an interview with Tom Ruegger, he states that Dot is 10-years-old.
Although Dot argues with her brother Yakko on occasion, her occasional rivally with her other brother Wakko could be a bit more tense at times.
Dot appears to be the same height as fellow Tress MacNeille character Babs Bunny as seen in The Big Wrap Party Tonight.

The Warners will meet Barney and friends in Barney's Adventure At Hotel Transylvania.
The Warners will guest star in Charlie Brown and Snoopy Get Cheaper by the Dozen and Charlie Brown and Snoopy's Adventures of Robots.
In an upcoming Barney adventure, where the Warners will meet the rest of the Backyard Gang, Dot will start an rivalry with Isabella Garcia Shapiro, due to their cuteness, but some time afterwards, they will make up and become friends.
The Warners will meet Lilo, Stitch and their friends in a future adventure.
They will be some of the most recurring allies in George, Harold and Mr. Krupp's Adventures Series.
They're ~~probably~~ in love with Annalise Becerra but ~~we'll see if~~ she loves them in a future crossover!
